Do Koreans really want me to Rappel out of the window by tying rope to the hook on the wall?

I thought the exact same thing. I was like wtf?! What if I weigh too much for that damn rope and it breaks.

I think those hooks are for testing the sturdiness of buildings, not for hanging things off of. I saw something similar in UK years ago and I was told that ropes are tied to them and the tension is measured.

RE: South Korea
Of all the people posting in the South Korea thread, I am definitely the one who promotes the benefits of speaking Korean the most, but I realize I could have given more concrete advice in this regard to assuage guys like sourcecode lol. So I decided to write this post to go into a little more detail.

one important thing that often gets overlooked with gaming in a foreign language is that above all, speaking the language well establishes preselection. if you speak the language well, it's usually because you've had a lot of experiences with the women of that culture. using slang is especially effective in conveying this. even if the real reason you are good at the language is because you were a nerd who studied a bunch, the girls aren't going to assume that.

Here's an example of Korean text game with translations and analysis. I don't think about these things while I'm texting, I'm just reverse-engineering in order to shed some light on the topic.

I think this is a typical example of the standard "beta game" for Asian girls where you say things that seem beta on the surface but you are actually holding an alpha frame at the same time. This is why gaming Korean girls can be paradoxical. This type of gaming style is pretty standard with all East Asian girls (Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean in my experience) so hopefully guys can learn a thing or two from this.

I also want to show guys on this forum how much learning a little language can expand your game. I am only Lower Intermediate at Korean (equivalent to ~100 to 150 hours of study) yet I am fluent in flirting.

Anyway, I met this girl America and even though she lived there for 3 years, I'm texting her in Korean because it's more fun for me that way. I always open my sets in Korean and only switch if they are very comfortable speaking English. That said, when I meet her in person again I will probably speak mostly English with Korean only used for comedic effect.

Me: Our office had a banquet today.

Standard BS text opener

Her: U also work? I thought u r just student lol

Me: Yes summer internship lol, I told you on Saturday and you already forgot-_-

Although it doesn't seem like much, I'm basically flipping the script on her. We met on Saturday night and I told her that I work in a particular area and since she lives close to there, we should meet up after my work some day. Now, maybe she just didn't understand me since she isn't a native english speaker or maybe she just forgot cuz it was 2 am, but either way, this is a good chance to bust her balls for forgetting a key piece of information.

The reason is this: by far the number one objection Korean girls have to dating foreigners is that they think we are ALL players. They will use this as an objection and shut you down if you aren't actually a player but try to act like one. Hell, Korean girls would call me a player even when I clearly wasn't. This used to drive me crazy and I'm sure it still does the same to tons of the foreigner guys who haven't figured out how things work yet.

So basically, in this text, I'm subtly and playfully hinting that SHE is the player since she can't remember a basic piece of information about me.

Her: i don't know. I don't remember all the details that well. Sorry for forgetting.

now she's on the defensive, before moving to offense

Her: You speak Korean well so you must be really popular with Korean girls!

She's calling me a player at this point. This is a key moment: A novice Korean player actually takes this as an ego boost and gets excited by it. An experienced Korean player sees this exactly for what it is: a shit test. In my experience, the best way to play this off with a Korean/Asian girl is not to own it, but rather downplay it. Tell them what they want to hear, while being nonreactive and playful about it

Me: No, I'm a nice guy Tongue

Her: yeah right haha, A nice guy wouldn't say that

Me: "hull". this a korean interjection which people say when they are offended by someone else. It's often used in a playful manner. I also add a Korean version of lol to show that I'm not actually offended.

Here, I am trying to make her feel like she is being overbearing for not dropping the player issue. Even though I'm telling her I'm a nice guy in a joking manner, I'm also suggesting that she's out of line for continually suggesting that I'm a player when she's the one who forgot basic info about me

Me: what are you doing now~ im preparing for some interviews next week^^

now, I change the subject and do it with a beta type boring question: what are you doing? this makes her look completely wrong now since i actually AM acting beta. in a weird way I am using a beta tactic to show her that i'm right. i also mention that I am preparing for interviews, which is true but is also useful because it suggests some of the provider qualities that Korean women attracted to. Unlike American women, Korean women become sexually attracted to beta provider qualities because of their culture's increased emphasis on money, status and education.

You still have to be smart about it, but unlike American girls, Korean girls often use provider qualities such as money and one's family background when rationalizing their one night stands and quick bangs.

Despite an hour interval between my last response and hers, she responds promptly to my boring beta question. At this point, the shit test has been passed and a meet-up seems likely

Anyway, hope you guys find this useful. Aside from the obvious benefits, there's never a dull moment when you're gaming in a foreign language.

Let me know if there is any problem with the attachments.

And dont forget the kkk.

I used a lot of emoticons! ^^ and -_- are emoticons as well.

I know you're joking, but in all seriousness one weakness a lot of foreigners have is using the kkk too much. You only want to use one or two ㅋs most of the time. Using any more than two ㅋㅋs is actually the way girls use it, not guys. So it just doesn't have the same effect.

Also, using the ㅋ too much in general can come off as try hard and all the other foreigners who know any korean at all are doing the same thing. At the end of the day, the goal is to use the language to speak like a native---this is what makes you stand out.

I know I have these details down to a ridiculous level but this is what you get from having over 500 kakaotalk friends over the years, lol.

I'm gonna go against what I said before and agree with some of the non-Korean speakers observations in this thread. Unless your korean is better than the average foreigner you are probably just better off speaking English. There is no opener that has a higher rejection percentage more than your standard "anyanghaseyo." It really depends on our Korean level, but my main point is that it does not take much work at ALL to be significantly better at korean than the average foreigner.

The chance to shine is when you are confident that your ability is definitely better than the average foreigner. It probably takes like 5 to 10 hours of actual study to get to this point, so in my mind there is no excuse not to be.

The pics don't really matter as all the translated text is included there... but it was a nice little touch to the post. I'll upload the messages if someone can give me some guidance on how to make the pics work.

Winter is on it's way in Korea so I am trying to get out as much as I can before the cold comes in. I forget what it is like in the winter here.. Do people still go out in the masses or do they hide at home to stay warm?

Thinking about coming to Seoul this weekend or next... There is also the BIFF festival in Busan which sounds fun. A lot going on these days. Was just in Busan for chuseok (rode my bike there). Had a great time for the one night I stayed. I really unique vibe in that city.

Hi all,

in ten days I will go to Seoul for 7 days. Is there any website that I can use to "pipeline" some girls? I tried dateinasia, but mostly there were fillipines who work in Korea. I'd appreciate any help, advice on daygame with be great too.

Another thing: I am dating an especially shy Korean girl. She is is rextremely shy and hardworking, like 24/7.
She is giving me a really hard time: We had two dates for dinner, but other than shortly holding her hands, she didn't let me do anything else. Does this usually take this long with a shy Korean girl?

Why do you waste your time with dinner dates? This is not only inefficient with a shy Korean girl, this is inefficient in general.

Invite her over for some cooking and soju.

RE: South Korea
Some can be really shy when it comes to dating. But more often than not, I have been surprised at how outgoing the girls really were. Dinner dates in a restaurant may be a hard ball, try something more personal like Ray mentioned.

If you can get them near your place, and slowly work your way to your home for a spur of the moment "let's drink tea" or "You got to see the view from my roof".

Most online dating here is pretty dry. You could use HelloTalk which is a language exchange app. I almost only get messages from girls. The few dudes are either gay or end up being cool. So it is possible to meet someone using that as well.

RE: South Korea
Of course, I always try to avoid dinner dates. I wasn't asking for date advice per se but for tipps regarding extremely shy Korean girls. She is the first Korean who I date.

Some info:
I got her number in a Starbucks. The first date it just happend to be dinner time. The second time, I was planning a date near my home and she changed it to another place, but invited me.

Nevertheless, I always push and see how far she wants me to get. But with this girl, she is so shy. Still she wants to see me again. Unfortunately, she left for 3 weeks to Korea herself.

Thanks anyway for the input.

Spring.

Winters are too cold. Summers are too humid.

Regarding your main questions. I wouldn't put too much thought into the "shy korean" girl thing.

However, in a more traditional society as Korea, you can not escalate in public, so it's even more important to move the date to a private place where she doesn't feel the pressure to obligate to social and cultural rules.

Where is your interest for Korea coming from?

RE: South Korea
Got my first lay in Korea last night for Halloween

(NSFW pics incoming)

Mini-fr:

Went out solo in Itaewon... shit was crazy packed. Couldn't even move on the street. Eventually ended up at Helios. Proceeded to get blown out by nearly every chick there before approaching this older chick (34) with a banging body (looked better in the dress). She was dancing really sexy on the dance floor and had a sexual vibe that most Korean girls don't give off (based on my limited experiences going out here - just got here a month ago and been out twice). She was clearly looking for the D and ok being felt up and shit. It was cool cuz her friend wasn't a cockblock or anything at all (maybe cuz they were older).

--Sorry, I'm trying to provide some more PUA-related info but I haven't written a FR before and don't have good memory. My costume was a prince (ghetto ass paper crown and towel for a cape) and I was telling girls to call me prince in Korean and basically bow down to me. She backed away from making out at first then she's like, lets do a round. So I bought the first, and slowly she gets more open to kissing, being felt up. We go back and forth from dancing to the smoking area and she checks in with her friend to tell her all is good. She bought me like two rounds, which was cool (even though it was some phaggy fruit drink). We had to look for her friend for a while which was annoying as fuck (i hate the friend(s) factor in nightgame)

We leave, walk for a while to find a cab (literally people everywhere), get to her apt and and it's like 3:30 AM and she starts cutting Korean pears lol when im just trying to hit it. Friend slept over though so I couldn't do anything at night. (Tried to bang on her small terrace/smoking area, in the stairwell, everything). Finally the next morning after the friend left, (after even more LMR) she got so turned on and i stuck it in (note: a good move I've found is to finger her from behind - doesn't see it coming, at least the first time, and they go nuts)

She understood this was a 1 night thing and we didn't exchange numbers. Kind of felt weird to me because I feel like Korea has a more serious dating culture prone to couples, etc but I guess true one night stands exist in Korea, too.

If anyone wants to meet I am still down. Going out solo is fun but not as fun going out with your boys and shit. All my friends here are wifed up which kinda blows

RE: South Korea
Got my 2nd lay in Korea (kinda)

Before going out, went on a date with a chick. I showed up mad late (had some family stuff), got coffee, got wine, and went to a DVD room (basically owner loads up a movie for you and you get a private room with bed etc to chill and watch movies aka smash). She said she only fucks dudes she gets into relationships with so I said fuck it and bounced to hit the club. (Wasted a good portion of my night, ~2:30 at this point).

First go to this club with old school Korean music. Decent girls because Korea but the scene just wasn't my vibe. So I bounce to some generic EDM club (which of course has tons of banging chicks, but a bit dead at 3:30-4:00 for Korea).

As usual, I get blown out by like 99% of the chicks in the club.

Lesson: I don't think it's good to start right off the bat by touching/grabbing girls in Korea unless they give off a mad sexual vibe (rare) because of the more conservative nature of the culture (will expound upon this shortly). I've also heard a coworker of mine (girl) complain that in Korea, the guys will just grab you and shit in the club, whereas when she lived in Canada, the Canadian guys would try and chat her up first before making any physical moves. Makes sense, I guess if you got groped by like 20+ dudes a night, it'd get annoying. Gonna experiment with this more next time/work on my conversational skills

Also, I was kind of tired so I drank an entire Redbull and someone gave me Jager bombs (more redbull) (bad idea to be explained later).

So usually what I do these days in Korea (since the drinks are cheap) is if I'm not getting any results through approaching, I'll let myself get a drink after I do, say 3 approaches or so (or whatever I'm feeling at the moment). So I do that one too many times, am buzzing pretty good, and its about 5:30AM (near closing time for the main floor). I spot this chick on the d floor and I approach. At this point I am kind of "in state" / my game is kinda on point from approaching so much and being kinda buzzed. I actually remember my opener this time - you look like you know how to party (sarcastic and in Korean). We shoot the shit, etc and I say let's bounce.

Lesson: this chick and the chick I banged last week - I'm pretty sure I didn't approach by touching right off the bat (I'm lazy...) but by saying some really sarcastic/cocky shit / maintaining that vibe throughout the interaction (at least in the club).

She has to find her friend (as usual...) but this friend is pretty cool (she was cuter too lol fuck) and after we all leave together she just says bye and we're on her own. The girl I'm with says she has to take a bus home and it's far. I say I'll take her home because Korea is very dangerous (joke). Fucking bus ride is like 30+ minutes (get laid or die tryin'). On the bus we make out and stuff a bit (didn't at all in the club). She was using mad tongue and everything.

We get to her place, I try to sneak in the "let me use your bathroom" line but all 3 of her siblings and loud dog are home. I say I'm gonna stay in a motel (these are mainly used for sex in Korea since most young people live at home) and say at least go with me cuz I'm not sure if it's safe (playing the dumb tourist lol). She obviously knows what the deal is but goes along with it.

So we take a taxi to some transport hub area where there are motels. 1st and 2nd are booked up, 3rd is good to go. Lady says 10 minutes for the room, we wait like 30... At this point its like 7 or 8 AM fuck. We get up to the room and she's like ok I gotta go now that I took you here and you're good. I said nah, just sit and chill for a bit. It's a long way back to your house, take a nap or something (she could've just grabbed a 10-15 min taxi lol). Finally she agrees and we start making out hard, both naked pretty shortly. She's like to herself, fuck what I am doing blah blah but its happening anyway.

So I get it in but couldn't get a decent lay out of it cuz I was too fucked up/tired and couldn't keep a decent boner.

**Lesson: Don't drink too much/drink too much redbull.

I figured I could sleep it off and hit it in the morning.

I couldnt lol

My heart was racing and I think I slept maybe an hour after sitting in bed for so long (4AM Redbull - never again).

Though I did wake up with wood, I was kind of feeling shitty and she was half-asleep.

Lesson: if waking up with wood after a night of no smash for whatever reason, just go hard and stick it in, even if you feel like shit. This has happened to me in the past and apparently I still haven't learned

It was some fucking bullshit to be honest. She had a nice, tight pussy too and I love how Korean girls moan (for the short time I was able to thrust my penis).

So, while I didn't really get a good lay, I guess I technically stuck it in and think I did a good job sticking it through with all the bs objections, obstacles, etc.

Pics (tried to get one of her coming out of the shower but she saw and yelled at me):

Men’s Style Guide: For Guys Who Want to Get Laid

You aren't getting laid because you still believe in "game".

Here's how I went from being a 21-year-old, videogame-addicted, Asian virgin to banging too many girls to count (no PUA bs):

RE: South Korea
Quote:Lesson: I don't think it's good to start right off the bat by touching/grabbing girls in Korea unless they give off a mad sexual vibe (rare) because of the more conservative nature of the culture (will expound upon this shortly).

I visited South Korea a month ago and had a very similar perception. Each night out I ended up hanging out with a few girls, getting drunk, and going to clubs -- what I'd notice is that pretty much every Korean dude in the club would just lunge at the girls in our group, try to pull them over, and dance with them. It's kind of funny, given it's a "sexually conservative culture" yet the guys are maybe the most aggressive I've ever seen; no talking, no creating IOIs, they just grab a girl from behind and try to dance with her. Unsurprisingly, the Korean girls didn't really seem to be much into this, and they'd just push away the guy or slip off. I'm not sure the dance floor is even the best place to pick up there, given how on guard they seemed to be -- I preferred starting conversations at a bar area or outside the club.

Everything you said is on point. It's easy to get lazy and just grab girls (this doesn't have a high hit rate for me in the West either but I feel like in Korea it's even worse - I'm just a lazy fuck). It probably doesn't help that I'm Korean (Korean-American) and when I do that, the girls are probably thinking oh another one... before they bounce

Misc: in terms of Korea being sexually conservative, that's more, for example, sex is not really talked about in public, whereas in the West, you will have some bitch at a party go off about how she's a polyamorous, pansexual lesbian. But obviously, people are having sex. I'd say a lot, too - Koreans are a pretty passionate people - I have read somewhere that Koreans are the "Italians of Asia" - would say this is fairly accurate. You just gotta get past the initial social "wall" (not being friendly with strangers - speaking in what we call jon-deh-mal - formal talk, etc)
- On that note, I think this is a useful tactic to share. The 3 Korean girls I've banged I always said (after shooting the shit for a while) "chingoo hal-ggah-yo?" (want to be friends? - she will obviously say yes at this point) then after she says yes, "mahl-noh-eu-seh-yo" (lower your language or in other words, let's use informal way of speaking vs formal) - my bro said to me once, you're never gonna bang a Korean girl using formal speech (which is probably true, though with older girls, after we have established we are friends, I will jokingly say things in formal speech from time to time and call her "noo-nah" (what a guy calls his older sister or older female friend) to make her feel old/insecure lol

Re: Being very physical off the bat - the results also speak for themselves as I think I mentioned - the two girls I've banged so far in Korea I said something first vs. just groped them right off the bat.

As much as I hate actually having conversations, I will experiment more this weekend and report back. I've also noticed the hottest girls prefer not to be touched right away and freak out if you do that (minus one 10 I approached in Itaewon - I couldn't help it she was so sexy. She responded well and was dancing up on me and when I started talking and trying to be cool she bounced lolll. So it depends on the situation, but more often than not, out of the probably ~75-100 approaches I've done over 2 nights going out in Korea, the majority of girls don't like being grabbed or whatever first)
