Tinder has been out since 2012, 2013? People still doing "tests" to prove women want to fuck attractive men?

Half of dating apps are guys running "experiments" on other guys running "experiments"

RE: Tinder App
I can report that even in Poland the dynamic on Tinder has changed a lot. 2 years ago I had easily matches with plenty 7+'s daily eager to meet and fucked some 9's through the app. Now after a few days of swiping it seems that my matches dropped by at least 1 point on average with me having an arguably better profile than before. Also more girls seem to be there just for a validation without any intention of meeting. It starts slowly reminding the Tinder scene in Western Europe.

If the glory days on tinder are over, where have all the good women gone? They have to go somewhere... unless it's a symptom of declining dating culture, relationships, tech addiction, etc.

I think what we're observing is just an accelerating hypergamy fueled by modern times' degeneracy. I don't see a point in crying about it but would rather step up my game and SMV. That's why I registered here after all. Thinking of putting way more emphasis on the day game instead of Tinder.

I just mean higher value women, that used to be on the platform, not flake, go on dates etc. Apps have life-cycles just like everything else. Where did the women from the glory days of Tinder go?

It sounds like you are overglorifying the "glory days" of Tinder. I read all the misc Tinder threads dating back to 2012 when Tinder was first discovered there.

Flaking has always been an issue.
Women seeking validation has always been an issue.

The main reason Tinder was more effective is that the true high-value guys hadn't found out about it yet, and the male:female ratios were more even.

Tinder has more women using it than ever. Most guys in here just aren't matching them, because their profiles aren't stacking up to the competition, which has increased in both quantity and quality.

Maybe the only glory day was AOL dating chatrooms when women had far less SMV and there were almost no guys back then cold approaching or harassing women in shopping malls. So you legit had a lot of nerdy female incels back then.

But otherwise you're right that Tinder wasn't that amazing in 2012 (although it was likely easier). And even though I got laid through Plenty of Fish: that website was often nicknamed Plenty of Fatties and Plenty of Freaks (and there were a lot of uneducated trashy girls with high standards on there).

RE: Tinder App
^ I can confirm that POF still has a lot of trashy girls (in my country we would call them 'bogans'). I've had much less success on POF (actually no success) compared to OKC or tinder.

OKC, in my city, seems to have a lot of far-left political science majors/hippies/scientists/feminists + foreign (mainly Asian) students while tinder and bumble have the most 'normal' people (i.e. most subcultures and demographics are all well represented there), in addition to most of the <25s.

Does anyone know why there is this demographic segregation among the various apps? I'm guessing it can only be because app usage spreads due to word-of-mouth recommendations among demographically similar peer groups, although to me this seems pretty odd (I would never tell my friends or family that I met someone on an app, or engage my blue-pill friends in a conversation about internet dating - then again I'm not a woman...).

They're still on Tinder, but most men are not seeing them because the algo has deemed them not worthy.

Cors: I never experienced Tinder’s glory days, so that’s why I ask. I’m 22 and recently new to dating apps. I think I missed the fun times. If you don’t mind me saying we’ve talked a bit, my dating app game is not up to standard… but you gave me a lot of advise that’s already helped me this week. Thanks bro, I can’t thank you enough.

Mania: you’re going a bit far, you old fuck! I believe it… I’ll go for a chubster but no fatties.

Aussiefuck: we’re on the same page all THOTs are BOGANs. That reminds me have you seen the film “Adoration”, I don’t know how bad it is in Ozland, but it seems accurate MILFs having to fuck 18 year rugby players/ surfers…

App segregation is because of the network effect, seriously, just google it. Basically, internet shit reaches a critical mass, and then everyone migrates to one website/ app because of economies of scale. Don’t quote me on that.

Dr. Roosh: I’m not worthy, and how, by chance, did you know that? Roosh, if you have some info on the algos, I’d love to hear your opinion… if anyone has been screwed by algos and content curation it has been you (I actually think its something you should write about at some point, for two reasons: 1. your current situation, and, 2. how it's screwing average--25th-75th--percentile men). It’s probably something all of us need to educate ourselves on. It will only get worse in the near future as human input is displaced by AI (albeit cucked-AI).

Use google search, But in short. Tinder assigns ELO to each swiper. ELO amogst other things configure your deck. Low Elo will not see High Elo.

The algorithm doesn't screw a man, It assigns him based on his market value.

RE: Tinder App
Is it possible Tinder is more used by women that are into nightlife and smoking cigarettes than by females of other groups?

I ask because the name itself reminds me of powder keg, which reminds me of the centuries old firearms that a user would have to light with a flame to fire, such as during the American Revolution time (1700's Common Era).

I would imagine Tinder may be perfect for men that have quit smoking or know how to keep women from wanting to smoke while still being able to have attendance in businesses mainly in nightlife be a regular occurrence.

Something tells me if a bunch of men start brushing their teeth and inviting women that they match with on Tinder out for dates to eat pastries with a little bit of sugar powder on it they may become attracted, but probably super attracted to the man or woman (hopefully not a child at the business) making the pastries if you yourself don't make pastries with sugar on it.

Just imagine a scene with women replacing the "What do you mean he don't eat no meat?!?" from my Big Fat Greek Wedding, with "What do you mean he don't cook eggs and bake pastries with sugar powder?!?"

Any thoughts?

True to some extent in London. Nowadays alt-chicks (looking for validation) can be found on Tinder, whereas normal chicks on Bumble (wanting to actually meet you). See my post recent post in the Bubmle thread.

Thanks!

Some women enjoy verbose men, but especially if they are strong. The key for me is, to get the women talking back without anger or sadness.

When playing a guitar, I would imagine, a strong hold without crushing the guitar is necessary before a guitarist can play fast and hit those beautiful high notes as well as the low notes.

Apologies if I drone on and on, but sometimes when I don't fly around the world in airplanes for some time, I create excess energy within myself and wake up early to exercise.

The amazing aspect of it is when I am able to write early in the morning and throughout the day.

Well, time to go exercise so I can release some of this testosterone naturally and safely.

With a way of thinking like that, why do you even think about Tinder? Seems you are better suited doing non online game.

Just out of first date. She texts me ‘if you would consider marrying me (not now), I would like to date you’

I declined, but I like her way of thinking.

That's a shit test and gauging the relative status between two of you. I hope that by declining you mean some banter response, not dropping her completely.

I said ´I’m already married but I’d love to date you’. I consider not ethical to make false promises to maidens.

She is 26, a 5.5 to 6 (but gracious and charming) and probably genuinely looking for LTR so I’ll pass anyway.

Don’t really know how to put up screen shots on here yet but this is my bio;

“Essentially I’m a turtle - comfortable in my own shell and pretty laid back - looking for my lobster

I’ve circled the world and settled in xxxx. I’m 6ft 1 and lord of my own manor

I’m old school and will open the door for you, apparently we are a dying breed?”

Yes gents I know that’s beta as hell now, but it pretty much sums up my humour, and yes I’m far too nice guy. I am looking for a relationship though

I consider myself a decent looking chap (solid 7) but not chad territory. Happy to give out my Instagram if anyone wants to via DM for assessment. I don’t live in a major city
