Are you sure you are talking about Lisbon in Portugal? Maybe you are refering to some other city we do not know about on some other place, maybe Lisbon-on-Don??

Seriously, I do not know your standards, but since you are a tall and handsome guy, they should be quite high, and I am really amazed that you can see even very few 9s, because I live here for 30 years, and I can say that in all my life I saw only a handful of Portuguese 9s.
Even TV stars, singers or front cover of men's mags are not 9s here.
Tons of 7s and 8s...tell me where please ))))

Regarding Lisbon in the summer, sure is better than the rest of the year, specially since the city is empy of locals (who are down south in Algarve), and full of tourists.

Calma Smile I wouldn't say you have to "completely" give up. But if you expect quantity it will be hard, if you expect quality it can be even harder. Portuguese guys have it much better abroad anyway. No stressing. I have some girls here and there and I check niches who get along with me, when I finish my college stuff i'll be outta here anyway.

The moustache thing is an old stereotype.

But mostly they aren't that good. Though I've been to Spain several times and I don't think our hermanas are much better, a bit better, not much.

I can verify all that has been said in this thread about Portugal. It's the same all around the country. They are not worth the incredible work we have to do. Plus they are always with the bitch shield on.

It might be the fault of men. Portuguese guys hit on anything that moves so they are always full of themselves.

I also advise the Erasmus in Poland. After a few days you will never want to come back. Be careful with that. The money you spend in Lisbon for a week gets you in Warsaw for 2.

Portuguese girls are not ugly. There are a lot of cute girls in Lisbon but they are not on par with the beauty you see in Eastern Europe. They are also difficult for ONS.

Don't limit yourself to Warsaw though; there's plenty of talent in second-tier cities too.

RE: Lisbon, Portugal
I agree with most of things said in this thread. I live in Lisbon, and here things are really hard. Girls will mostly instant reject you if you play day-game and night game you "must" have mutual friends if you know what i mean.
The thing is... If she talks to you, then her friends will call her "slut" for being "easy", so she will instantly reject you, BUT.... there's a interesting thing i would like to say.
When a portuguese girl is far of her friends and family, she turns out to be the worst whore ever! I say that because i know a girl who doesn't give a shit about her reputation and she told me she has a lot of friends that behave like a GOOD GIRL next to their friends and when they travel to other countries or cities, they trasform into REAL bitches due to the fact they don't know "anyone" there.
If you´re coming to portugal to game, then Save your money and go to another country, because if you come to portugal to game, then you will waste your money.
I have a funny story to tell your guys.
A group of portuguese students (4 guys and 6 girls) went to Poland due to ERASMUS. These 4 guys were Nerds... they weren´t Popular with girls in Portugal while these girls had full attention of most of guys in portugal (normal). The thing is... After 3 months, these girls gave up of Poland because they were bored and wanted to come back to portugal while these guys stayed because they were loving.... Polish girls were giving these guys Full attention while the portuguese girls were having 0% Attention like how they used to have in portugal.
Man, im half brazilian/half portuguese and all i can say is that when im in portugal, im mostly single...... wheni go to brazil, i feel like a KING, i have girls everywhere asking me out, Looking at me, some even cat whistle me... Thats a huge difference... I feel so much happier in brazil!
The thing is, Brazilian Politics sucks so it doesnt help at all if you talk about university and jobs. So.. i prefer staying in Portugal focused on my future, then i can think about it.

RE: Lisbon, Portugal
I was just in Lisbon for a week, for reasons other than gaming, but just did enough socializing and casual approaching to think there is too much negativity on this thread about the place. Within Western Europe, I don't think it gets any better.

First, the Bairro Alto is an outstanding open-air, multiple-bar venue. Scores of bars within blocks and many hot women. It gets crowded on weekend nights. Lots of indigenous and Erasmus students.

Second, there is another nightlife cluster around the new Mercado da Ribeira food court, which is more of a hipster scene. Art galleries with bars, wine bars, clubs with DJs, too.

Third, there are a lot of tourists. Many tall blonde Nordics and many Asians, too. It's easy to approach at the Rossio railway station offering service to Sintra, or in Sintra itself, I talked to a couple of Chinese women and a Korean.

Another place I would like to go back to exclusively for approaching.

RE: Lisbon, Portugal
Absolutely Sp5! But that is the good side. Having an appartment well placed and some average game experience + hitting solely on tourists, Erasmus and the like, it can be quite profitable. The negativity is more related to the portuguese girls themselves. The tourist venues we get are better and better each year!

Lisbon is an amazing city, amazing sunlight, good weather, good food, cheap by western europe standards, things are quite organized, beaches are only 20 minutes ride, people seem nice (for tourists, some expats after living here for some years change theirs opinion on this), the traffic is not chaotic as in other big cities, the cultural scene is good, many concerts, museums (portuguese history is fascinating) and theaters. So overall, with some money, someone can live a quite relaxed and good life, but this on an expat perspective, most young locals can not make a good living here, many emigrated in recent years (Everywhere, but mostly to London and Luanda)...So this makes Lisbon an amazing place to live...if you are 60 years old or more!! It all depends on what you want in life, and if you want femenine and good quality woman, and if you are also a masochist, definitely come to Lisbon.

So, it all depends on the man itself and it's expectations in life and game. In my opinion, even tourists that come to Lisbon are atrocious, compared to other european cities, the city is cheap, so it atracts cheap people, end of story. Try to get a Lisbon-Moscow flight, and a Paris-Moscow flight and you will see the difference...God, and I am not even speaking about locals...just crossing the border to nearest Spanish town, and you will see more hotties in one hour, than a week in Lisbon. Sure there can be some negativity in my comments here, and I personally can not complain too much, as I score in a regular basis, altough not the quality I want, I deserve, and I get abroad. But some friends of mine have full years in dry spells, and myself also had quite a few of them in my life (a couple of months, never a year). Yes, some guys and some of my friends kill here, model alikes, but even for them this is not easy, and even tough they eat a lot of dogs in the way...

Regarding the places you write about, my humble opinion is that Bairro Alto is a dirty place, with below average woman (no high heels or skirts here...), unsafe, full of wannabe thugs and drug dealers, all bars are small, no place to sit, horrible decoration, horrible music, full of drunk peolple and junkies in the streets, and all mixed in one place where everyone is drinking their 1€ cheap beer in the street, looking at each others faces and figures, with absolutely no hook-up environment...well again...except if you are looking for chubby english or american girls, or italian hipsters (the worst...atrocious). Of course some gem here and there, but a guy can get so overwhelmed by the environment...that looses all the will to try.
In Cais do Sodré/Mercado da Ribeira a little bit better...but the scenery does not change too much, the best ones are always unapprochable, or are locals (the most unapproachable), or are already with 10 guys around. It is not the competition that bothers me, is the sheer numbers. when you approach, you must have been the number 40 of the day...unless she is one of the above mentioned.

Frankly, I am quite pleased that someone wants to come here to game, and also recommends Lisbon to game. This leaves greener pastures with less competition.

Cheers.

Note: Altough statistics say the contrary, Lisbon is not a safe place, a lot of petty thief, more or less violent, and bouncers can be the most vile and violent of most places I have been (trust me, I know some of them), the thing is that Portuguese justice is so slow, incapable, and uncomprehensible, and even to press charges on something takes almost a full workday, most people ignore when something is not dead serious.

RE: Lisbon, Portugal
guys,I try to be a humble person, but let me share it with you: yes, it is possible. Portuguese girl, met in tinder the same day. We go out. I take her to my apartament. she says she does not kiss strangers. i tell her I think i like her but no relation is planned. after 30 mnts she attacks me.we have intense sex. she is hot (0-10 note 6.5). she leaves.

If I would post her naked pic in "WTUB?", everyone would say "IWB".

So. Just go out, with your dick out, be confident, invite for dinner, denny relationship prospects, be cool, touch, try to kiss, try it again, and then fuck. enjoy your holidays.

I am not being disturbed, this is my opinion on the place, and I live here long enough to know the dynamics and the quality around. Even if I would bang a 9,5 here my opinion would not change. But what would be lf the world if everyone liked the yellow colour? I do not like ))
So, guys, come and have fun. And leave other places with less competition.

I've been living here for the past two months and I confirm most of what has been said so far in the thread : locals are tough to crack with no friends in common, though tourists are manageable.

BTW, if any of you guys is in town right now, just send me a PM and I'll be glad to have drinks and share some experiences about fishing bacalhau here in Lisbon.
