i think you guys are missing the point of the show. i have only reluctantly begun to appreciate it.

I fucking hate every single one of those bitches on the show. and many of the dudes. hell most of the dudes.

thats the point.

its meant to be an example of what is wrong with this particular subset of american culture.

if you've watched the show recently it really is not showing even lena dunham's character in any positive light whatsoever.

i find all those characters disgusting

which means, you know what? that lena dunham is doing a great job in portraying these idiots. it all hits home far to hard. i know examples of all those people she writes about. i hate them.

the show is red pill. the beta boys get fucked over, alpha cads get the pussy. it makes women look petulant and stupid, and definitely exposed their interpersonal skills as shite as well as confirming that they often treat their friends like hell.

the show is painfully honest.

i reluctantly give lena dunham her props for pulling this together and writing such real shit.

there is not one ounce of glamour in that show at all.

it is the antithesis of sex and the city.
