RE: The NBA Thread
Did I just see what I saw? 2 air balls in a row by Steph Curry!!! One 3 pointer and a mid range shot.

Are witnessing a major collapse by NO? Hope not!

RE: The NBA Thread
I had to run out and I missed the last 30 seconds of the fourth.. Pelicans were ahead by 5 if I recall correctly..

I come back and GS wins in overtime by 4..

They had it coming is the way I see it. With 5 minutes left on the clock >10 point lead Pelicans are taking shots with 15 seconds on the shot clock, every possession.

I actually really, really dislike the Rockets. Harden is overrated. The dude is going to go left, I don't know why defenders move right.

The Spurs are peaking at the right time and getting back to their unstoppable form of last years playoffs. Making one of the 2 most explosive teams in the league look like amateurs and completely shutting them down.

The team they pass the ball around makes me remind of Barca.

What a beautiful team to watch play!

That Olynyk foul on Love was some dirty shit. He basically put his arm in an armbar and yanked down with all his strength. That looked 100% intentional.

I've decided to start watching sports. I think the only reason I never wanted to watch them was because I resented the people who did. Does that make sense?

RE: The NBA Thread
Though I was a fan of Chandler Parsons in Houston, Mark Cuban made a bone-headed decision to give him that offer sheet. I think that sheet was more of an "eff you" gesture to Daryl Morey, which is now backfiring. Al-Farouq Aminu can do every bit Parsons can & would come cheaper.

RE: The NBA Thread
I have a feeling for some reason the Clippers are going to put it all together and win it this year..even with their joke of a bench...Paul is playing angry and on another level...if it wasnt for Griffins turnover in the last 10 secs in Game 2 the clips should be up 3-1...and they seem to have the Warriors number if comes down to those 2 in the west finals..

RE: The NBA Thread
Spurs lost it due to bad execution and missing a lot of open shots that they normally put in. Even with Paul playing like that and scoring a bunch, if the Spurs just raised their % by even a little, then they'll come on top as they are overall the better team, with the better and deeper bench, way more experienced and by far better coach. It's all matter of the Spurs getting it done.

Spurs in 6 regardless. Smile

Why were Ginobili and Parker not in the game in the 4th quarter, especially the last 5 minutes? I'm going to assume they were hurt because otherwise that is criminal.

Meanwhile in the East...

How does a two week injury leave by Kevin Love, and possible suspensions to Perkins and JR Smith affect the Cavs going into the Bulls series?

Stay tuned

I've played them. I've watched them locally. I just never got into national sports, I guess it made me insecure. But I do want to watch the next NBA season now that I've stopped hating everything.
