RE: The NBA Thread
Toney getting a little respect. This guy could take the last shot with any NBA player in history. Ainge of the Celtics admits in this video that he feared Toney more than MJ.

“That sig BTW is a very asinine anti-family anti-parent quote. You live in a country where 40% of children grow up without a biological father, yet somehow “the greatest burden a child must bear is the unlived life of its parents”? Sorry but this is fruity Boomer nonsense.”

RE: The NBA Thread
So, who was Dr. J before Dr. J, Jordan before Jordan, Kobe before Kobe and Rodman before Rodman?

Nice short history lesson on Elgin Baylor, who shouldn't be forgotten.

RE: The NBA Thread
Elgin's the best player to never win a championship.

Baylor 11x All-Star: 1959-1965, 67-70
10x All-NBA First Team: 1959-65, 67-69

8 NBA Finals trips (7 in 9 years), 2 game Game 7's away from 2 more.

3 Game 7 losses in the NBA Finals.

The Celtics Dynasty and the '70 Knicks kept him from being remembered as a champion.

By all accounts I hear he was a good guy, who as an NBA exec with the Clippers kept getting screwed over by bad luck and ownership.

RE: The NBA Thread
Just curious. Did anybody see any kneeling or anthem protests/fists in the air during the MLK day games?

RE: The NBA Thread
Anyone sports bet? I couldn't find a post about it. Would be cool to get insight on others picks for the day.
