Hell we should legalize opium and allow Americans to go over their to start cultivating it(not just leave it to the CIA, have a new colonial age of sorts. But nation building and "fighting to spread democracy" is a fool's enterprise.

"Misogynist", "fascist", "drug running"? The context in which you use these words makes me question if you have taken the red pill.

Good for you.

You're an enlightened human, I am just a beta softie.

You don't like it, you go over there and fight it, and don't take my money doing it. I am indifferent to that woman in the hole in all honestly, I don't think our foreign policy should be based on feelings.

RE: Manosphere Reaction to Boston Bombing
The war that began in 2001 in Afghanistan was a result of the failure of US-Taliban negotiations regarding the extradition of Osama Bin Laden. You might argue the US diplomacy failed as bullies but the bottom line is that the Taliban did not turn over Bin Laden and Bin Laden subsequently bombed New York City, killing thousands of American civilians. The Taliban still refused to hand him over and as a consequence, so the US went to war.

Well, there is the little matter of the event being completely unrelated to the topics covered by the blogs you mention.

Roosh should put out a video on each act of criminal violence? What's the threshold here? I didn't know anything about this incident until this thread prompted me to scan a paragraph on a news site.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.

I have had this sig since 2015 and received thousands of post likes; yet not one person has commented on my sig. Perhaps you're familiar with the work it parodies? Let me know!

I agree. This whole incident really doesn't apply to us unless it was feminists who planted the bombs. But you know it wasn't them because people got hit with flying nails and shrapnel, not pieces of donuts, cake, and cupcakes.

I'd be impressed if feminists could build one that threw pastries. Women - especially feminists - with technical skills and the ability to build things? Complete science fiction. Sounds like planet of the apes.

Why should I care about this attack when attacks of a much more severe magnitude occur daily in the middle east as a result of US government direct action or indirectly as a result of the instability the US government creates. If the government wants to continue on course with these kinds of policies, this will start becoming a norm, simple as that. I refuse to feed the hysteria an accept the frame of Americans as victims and that the US government is morally infallible. Maybe I also don't care because I just consider myself an American anymore, but rather a straight conservative white dude wondering what the hell kind of society he lives in and where his country went.

I see.

So if we didn't go into Afghanistan, and the Taliban still ruled, THAT would have kept the country "stable," while we go in there and create "instability" by getting rid of these insane, misogynistic, stone age, barbaric, drug running fascistic zealot thugs.

Is that right?

Tenderman, while you are up there on the high horse you should mention that they don't let the women go to school and make them wear burqas!

If you want to impose your morals on barbaric goat herders you are going to be bombing half the world.

This guy is far more emotional than me about the subject, but I agree with the sentiment.

(04-16-2013 02:10 PM)stoney Wrote:  After much consternation, I decided to create a new thread on the Boston bombing, but specifically, the manosphere's reaction to it (or lack thereof). The current Boston thread on here was very useful in talking about breaking news as it happened...this is a little different.

So the bomb hit yesterday over 24 hours ago. There has been little, to none, to zero coverage of the attack on our corner of the web. Let's run through a list of authors and their twitters to look for any type of reaction at all.

Roosh - no reaction on site or twitter
Roissy / Heartiste - one post on twitter? back to regular scheduled programming of beta cuckolding/underclass spawn/frame control
Danger and Play - nothing on either
VK / Nexxtlevel - nothing on either
Matt Forney - nothing on either
Krauser - nothing on either

GLPiggy - no opinion, reciting news
LionofBlogosphere - opinionated (anti-muslim) and political reporting

Those are the sites I check, not sure about anybody else. But driving home yesterday, I really got the sense that the red-pill crew really has jackshit to say about this. If anything, the community would put this event into the "Other" category which coincides with things like race debates, gun control debates, politics, war debates, etc. Reading through the Boston thread, the conversation turned to "Well I am a veteran, so STFU" versus "These bombings happen all the time, but we only care in the USA."

My point is this -- All of these writers are smart, intelligent, capable guys who I like to read and enjoy their take on the world. I am no playa with a passport...But I enjoy the debates, racist flame wars and all the shit that goes along with having a big group of people with a wide-ranging set of ideals having serious discussion about life and the world we live in. I feel like the manosphere is sticking its head in the sand with regards to this particular incident by ignoring and putting it into the "other" category.

I come to the vague conclusion that geopolitical debates always always always come back down to race flame wars and political flame wars. Maybe that's all human beings boil down to in the end as well, I don't know. I just wanted to point out what I thought was a little weird... as of right now, 24 hours after a MAJOR terrorist attack on a HUGE US metropolis, the manosphere has nothing to say.

It might be just the fact that it's too soon. We don't know who did it yet. We find out it's a home-grown operation white boy, then one side is going to go nuts. We find out it's a Middle Easterner, then the other side is going to go nuts....maybe people are just waiting on the facts so they can take their respective ideological sides and get to work bashing their opponents.

Ultimately, it's just a little weird to be reading typical Game posts and frame control stuff on a day like today, acting like nothing insane happened yesterday.

Thanks for reading. Stay safe and take care of yourselves and the people you love (was that beta?). Good luck.

American

Im going to be frank. People need to harden the fuck up a little. The overreaction and the drama that has followed this event has been over the top and its starting to get on my tits. The world is not coming to an end over this. Its not like someone just nuked Boston FFS.

Honestly, it was a bomb blast. Its sad and its horrible thing that happened and I hope they cut the bastards balls off when they catch him. This is not a 9/11 or London type attack though, its just another Tuesday in Northern Ireland or Iraq. This type of shit happens and the USA, with its population in excess of 300 million, is going to produce the odd nutcase. Given the current campaigns in the Middle East, that this is the first major incident since 9/11 speaks volumes for how safe things are.

Now I know when it hits close to home it can be shocking, but the doom and gloom has gone beyond ridiculous. Expecting the whole world to come to a fucking standstill because of a minor bomb blast in Boston is absurd, especially considering you are at war.

There were 11 car bombs in Iraq yesterday. There was a bomb blast in Bangalore today. These were news paper headlines, not a two day global media extravaganza.

What on earth am I supposed to write about that bomb? I'm on holiday and barely checking the news, I'm a UK citizen, it has no obvious game/red pill connection, and no thematic link to what I write about. I am in no way an expert on terrorism.

I think it was an awful attack and my sympathies are with those hurt by it. But really, why would anyone care about my "take" on it?

It's too soon and there are almost no facts out there yet. Prudent men wait for facts before opening their mouths.
The media is so unreliable I have to wait at least a week for any piece of the real story to come out.
Remember how wrong the media's initial reports are with big stories -- Trayvon/Zimmerman, Benghazi, Duke Lacrosse, etc.

Game recognized.

"According to the website spotcrime.com, Tamerlan was arrested for domestic violence in July 2009, after assaulting his girlfriend."

what is there to say about this?

except perhaps.... why were private military contractors found to be on the site of the bombing acting in a very suspicious manner?

I wonder what did I wrote months/years ago that still got you butt hurt. But thanks for the shout out thou.

But I digress, I do agree with the gist of your post. Most people are set in their world view and although debating with strangers on the Internets is entraining it is a waste of time. I don’t know about the rest of the other bloggers you mentioned but Roissy/CH was probably waiting for confirmation that the perp(s) weren't White. Nevertheless, they look White enough to me. In other words, they would not be able to sing the chorus of Trinidad James' "All Gold Everything" outloud in harlem and not expect to have a problem.

I am just glad that it wasn't brotha who did this. Roissy would have had an aneurysm.
