Problem is, they used to know they were. Now there's a whole industry and ideology built around telling them that it's, in fact, the opposite--that women can do everything and that's it's men who are helpless, bumbling oafs. "Behind every great man stands a surprised woman."

Disagree. There is in fact a whole industry and ideology built around telling women that they are totally, super-capable.

But in truth, every industry (other than maybe some of the beer industry) is dedicated to this.

Because, once women began to control a significant portion of personal and family finances, producers started to realize the following:

Women are the ideal consumer. They'll buy an idea just as quickly as they will buy a useful product, if not sooner. And they'll go into debt to feel good about themselves.

Men don't. Unless its an expectation if they ever wanna get laid again.

You fail a woman's "fitness test" (shit test), maybe you don't get laid.
You fail nature's "fitness test", you fucking die.

My first thought was "too old to have a child."

You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.

Interesting. On what grounds did you think that?

Maybe time to unplug from the forum a bit?

It was a bit of a joke. But I will admit my views have begun to change since finding this forum. And I believe it was a very good thing, if anything to balance out my views. I was pretty beta when I found this forum (still am in many ways). I have become more skeptical of women, which is probably a good thing.

I suppose I should have sensed it was a joke.

Yeah, I'm sure all of our views have changed from interacting here. Being skeptical is good - there's a real danger of going too far in the other direction though too. Something you see a lot online.

For me, being skeptical about women would bring me more to the center I think. I am pretty skeptical in business, always processing data and motivations. I have a touch of paranoia, I bet. But I do have a hope for a happily ever after ending in my life. Smile But the crazy stuff I am reading is really helping me dial my radar a bit to be aware of the types of women out there. And that most people won't change. I appreciated the slut analysis thread - gave me great pointers on things to be aware of. Plenty of other great threads on this forum.

Not to be too much of a mangina, but I am grateful to everyone on this board. TBH, would I be friends or hang out with everyone on this board, probably not, but the men who have been sharing their life experiences have really opened my eyes. I grew up with a strong family-parents are still together, parents paid for my education, etc. very blessed. But most people who meet me, I hope, would say I am pretty humble. Pretty grounded individual (I have been told) who likes to screw around (a lot of inappropriate jokes) but when something is serious, I am right there ready to help, ready to jump into action, leave no man behind mentality (have never served - respect tho those who have).

I just don't have friends who have these experiences that some on this board share with me and the world. Now to be fair, I think there are a lot of people with drama in their lives and source drama into their lives. I am not trying to be critical, we all have issues - just different types of issues and different types of drama. So some of the craziness I read about may be self created. But this board has been a huge education. And while in the past I may have been suckered into a woman's drama - because I always want to save the day - now, unless I am fucking her, or I know she is just going through an abnormal situation, fuck it I'm gone. I don't have to feel bad, as long as I didn't create the drama, I have no obligation to help.

I have been guided by old fashioned values taught to me by solid parents, teachers, strangers etc., the problem is the world has changed and those values are not respected by the average chick. The special ones still respect them but they are just harder to find. I say respect because respect means it is also appreciated, many women like men with these values because they get free drinks, stuff, doors opened, etc. But someone who respects it has a different view of the world, hopefully a deeper one which would make that woman unique, a keeper.

This board has been the kick in the butt I have needed.

Ok, taking the mangina off.

I had to come to realize the hard way that traditional values, for all intents and purposes, no longer exist in the US; I had to live for a few years outside the country to find a woman who I wanted to marry and who would marry me.

Roosh is a stupid turd. I wish there was some way for the women he seduces to know, under all his game, that he is a person who spends time on the internet laughing about people who have drowned. I mean, the guy is public with his face – it’s only a matter of time before he gets some notoriety and women start recognising him, right?

I'm futilely trying to imagine the rage of these white knights when they realize the Roosh board slays far more pussy than they could even fathom. Life really does a vicious sense of humor.

Speaking of women getting offed. Heard local sport talk show herbs droning on about some 35 year old spinster's demise off her balcony while on first date with some herb and how it's a waste of a hot chick.Dodgy

"It was the kind of temperate summer night that draws apartment-dwellers outside to sidewalk restaurants or rooftop bars or balconies high above the street.

That is where Jennifer Rosoff was shortly before 1 a.m. on Thursday, having retired to her 17th-floor balcony in Midtown with a man she had just met for a first date. As they talked, she casually hoisted herself atop the wide metal railing, cigarette in hand.
The conversation shifted. Perhaps she should be more careful, he suggested. It is not a problem, she assured him. She had done this many times before.

Then Ms. Rosoff was gone.

She fell 140 feet to the construction scaffolding at the base of the building, at 400 East 57th Street, and died from the impact. The police said there was no appearance of foul play; the railing, bent down hard at the corner, was still evident on Thursday, a fearful sight. The death of Ms. Rosoff, 35, whom a friend described as “an A-player” in the competitive world of media advertising sales, immediately rippled across the cellphones and in-boxes of distraught friends and colleagues."
