Both extremes are bad. On one hand being prego with a low body fat %'age can fuck up the babies development, especially it's cognitive pre-wiring, other hand being a slopshow is equally as bad. Western women just can't do anything normal/ in moderation, everything is always to an extreme. Nature slims women naturally if they are not eating for 5 by nursing which burns a fuck load of calories with a female doing nothing but having a kid gnaw at its boob for a hour or two a day, but till, even that is to much for the western women and many would rather feed her child formula from China then her own milk.

I am sure this Crossfit Momma counts her Marcos and calories completely oblivious to the child growing inside of her, if anything her next competition date is circled in deeper red pen then her expected due date. I laugh at both sides in this, all degenerates and attention seekers. The Crossfit milf gets the edge tho because she has most likely locked down a legit dude whom is fit and successful, it's not a cheap lifestyle, nor is it accessible if your not driven either.

Spot-on. Here's how much food a fetus needs: none at all for the first 3 months of pregnancy, then about 300 calories per day for next 3 months, and 450 calories per day for the last 3 months. The only thing a mother has to watch about food intake is not to skimp on vitamins and minerals. There is probably some sort of extra energy required for moving the mother's cargo around, but it's offset by reduced activity.

I'm sure whatever stress she's subjecting her body to for one hour three times a week is far less than what our peasant ancestors faced toiling daily in the fields from sun up to sun down.

By keeping her own body weight reasonable and having a decent muscle-to-fat ration, she's reducing her risk of a C-section, premature birth, Macrosomia, Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome (a greatly increased risk of childhood cancer with a 20% mortality rate from having too big a baby), and Sotos syndrome --mental retardation, speech impediments, etc. from too large a baby.

There are many, many documented cases of women far more athletic than this woman not even knowing they were pregnant during training and competition. The show I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant dramatizes these cases occasionally.

There are risks of Hyperthermia during the first trimester when fetuses are bad at temperature regulation, but the standard isn't "sit on your ass if it's above 70 degrees Fahrenheit". No, it's "You should avoid climbing above 102 degrees F". In general, your risk that the obese might start spontaneously exercising of any type is zero.

The British are now attempting to fight obese mother/macrosomia complications through drugs. Seems to me working out a few times a week is more natural and safer.

I'm just guessing here, but a Big Mac (not menu, just Big Mac) actually does have a decent amount of protein, and it even contains a small amount of vegetables. Since newborn protein requirements are not so large, I think it would only be lacking in fibre and some vitamins. Of course, babies don't have teeth to eat that Big Mac with, so there's that Big Grin
