East Tennessee Data Sheet
I created this datasheet based off of a request from the "Who is satisfied with where they live" thread. http://www.rooshvforum.com/thread-28826.html That being said its going to be more of a lifestyle data sheet instead of soley a list of bars to pickup girls.

I also like the layout that paninaro used for his Odessa mini data sheet and this is my first data sheet so additions are welcome http://www.rooshvforum.com/thread-28786.html

Introduction
[Image: LqifvJQ]
Tennessee is separated into three distinct parts, as denoted by the three stars on its state flag, and each part has its own miniature capital city and geography. That being said, someone from Memphis or Nashville is not representative of residents of say, Knoxville.

I'm going to focus on the Knoxville area and exclude the far eastern tri cities.

Knoxville itself sits in a valley in the Appalachian mountains, to the north is the range containing the cumberland gap and mammoth caves national park and to the south is the great smoky mountains national park and Cherokee National Forest. I really enjoy the outdoors to this may taint my views on the place.

Weather wise, this isn't the stereotypical "south" for weather, its somewhat moderated by being at a higher elevation. Winter is mild (frost and rare snow) but is real at higher elevations. Summer is bearable, and doesn't have as many horrible ball sweat days as Memphis or Atlanta.

Logistics

Getting There
There is a regional airport just south of Knoxville (expect long cab rides) served by the usual suspects and is usually a direct flight from a hub city like atlanta, chicago, washington or minneapolis.

If you have time, its a nice drive as well. I especially advocate driving if you ride a motorcycle or sports car. South of Knoxville on the way into the great smoky mountains national park is the 'tail of the dragon' roadway which is part of US HWY 129. Its a road with constant curves and often hosts car club and motorcycle events.

This stretch of road is the most famous but most of the mountain and sideroads are challenging drives/rides are paved, winding, with no shoulder or guardrails.

Getting Connected
I use a cheap cell phone, its like anywhere else in the US I guess.

Getting Around
I've never used public transit in Knoxville and would be adverse to doing so (see Crime below). Driving is easy but we warned, there are virtually no sidewalks. It is not a pedestrian friendly place.

Day Locations
UT Campus and Football
Knoxville is home to a University of Tennessee Campus made bigger and more famous because it is home to the UT Football and Basketball team. This means that students that come here are more likely coming for the parties than they are for academics. The stadium holds 102,000 people and is a draw for the entire region for events. Its worth the time.

Downtown Market Square
Not recommended, unless you like hipsters. Downtown Knoxville seems to be a hipster refuge and contains less of the stereotypical southern girls and more imports from out of state.

Great Smoky Mountains, and surrounding towns
Tourist trap and traffic hell: avoid these places unless you are there in off season and then it is not daygame friendly as its more family oriented.

Church
As explained in the culture section, church is the social glue around these parts. They have events for everything and are overwhelmingly welcoming to guests and visitors. Pipeline early, send an email saying that you are visiting the area and you will likely find an invite to a church picnic or something like that. This requires advanced social skills and self confidence but the payoffs are amazing. (see culture section)

Eating
Prepare to get fat. Southern cooking, fast food and BBQ are the name of the game here.

Buddys
a local barbeque chain with locations around knoxville, $10 for all you can eat ribs that are pretty good in my opinion. Other places will also not dissapoint and I advocate for the small places where you can see active smoking grills in the back or parking lot.

Man Vs. Food
There was an episode filmed in Knoxville, all of the places are good but a hike/drive or in the ghetto.

Downtown the focus is mainly on irish or english style pubs.

Night Venues
I have not done much exploring of night venues but I will reference a few as samples of areas.

Whiskey Dix
classic college bar, near campus, slutty girls, cheap drinks, moderate rations. Expect yoga pants.

Boyds Jig and Reel
Irish style pub, I'm not into this setting from a game standpoint and its on the market square which I would avoid spending time at, bad for logistics.

Cotton Eye Joes
Out in the suburbs this is a warehouse sized country bar with a dance floor the size of a roller skate arena. This is where I would advocate going if you are looking for a cowboy boots and short shorts kind of girl. The target density is great with such a big place and the people by nature are friendly (I'm white so i can't speak otherwise). Two drawbacks exist though; its logistically poor so you're not going to be able to walk anyone home. The second caution...they line dance to fucking everything. Its mind boggling and so you may be in trouble if you rely on dance game.

Crime
We're #1. Tennesee has ranked #1 in violent crime per capita and the Knoxville area ranks up there for violent crime and property crime due to meth and an impoverished east side. Luckily the crime seems to be concentrated in pockets like Magnolia Ave. Hall of Fame Drive, Mechanicsville and South Knoxville. You won't be going to the rural areas trailer parks and meth labs so I'm sure you'll be ok there too. Regular street smarts will get you by.

Culture
The culture is somewhat closed, people are friendly but also with a polite distance. People that are from the area have been 'from' the area for hundreds of years with generations of family and old people who are outwardly racist and also hate 'damn yankees'

On the upside they open up quickly, especially if you can demonstrate value quickly like not being a 'damn yankee' or attending church (or at least pretending to)

There are also a number of immigrants to the area from other states. Suburban and Urban areas seem to have alot of people from the east coast who clash with the local culture. This is why I tend to avoid 'downtown' knoxville...I'm not interested in hipsters or flip flops.

In the rural areas I have run into more french canadians than I have anywhere else outside of Canada.

In rural areas and with true 'locals' church is a binding social tie. Baptist churches are everywhere and tend to be the gateway to social circles. Knowing this will help immensely if working on making friends or pipelining. No you don't have to commit to the church either, just dropping in a few sundays is enough to get you connected or to get looks from women with that 'ooh who is that new man' gaze.

Oh and last, hillbillies (aka Ali B). In rural areas its the 'real deal' this was the place they filmed that show 'moonshiners' and there are plenty of sleeveless t-shirts, dip spitters, jacked up trucks and baseball hats. They aren't cowboys, they are rednecks. The positive and negative aspects of these stereotypes are true.

Women
Looks
This area was settled by scotch irish immigrants mainly (see moonshine) with some intermarriage with cherokee indians and french settlers (there are alot of french last names). This is interesting when combined with the fact that most families have been in the area for generations. Alot of those genetics are preserved in their looks. White looking girls with high cheekbones and straight black hair have cherokee somewhere in their family and redheads abound.

Knoxville's signature redhead is Christina Hendricks of Mad men fame, and that same very irish/scottish look (without the awesome tits) is easy to find around here.

The normal 'southern blonde' is not as prevalent as say Nashville or Houston but still exists and they do take care of themselves with surgery/botox and dress well.

This picture is a good sample. There's a redhead, high cheekbone girl and 'southern' girl with blonde hair, tan and possibly fake tits. All dressed like women. Remember, this isn't LSU or 'Bama "southern" so don't expect those kind of girls.

[Image: tennessee-vols-tailgate-girls_display_im...1302839932]

Thats the upside, here's the downside. Its not hot girls raining from the sky like Quebec or eastern europe. There are plenty of too thin girls (think meth or too many cigarettes), massively fat women (southern food), genetic mutants (too much scottish inbreeding), east coast style hipsters etc. but I find that its very obvious. I find its as if there is no middle ground. She'll be a 4 or a 6.5.

Also to a man's advantage is are the irish genes, they tend to produce slim guys of moderate stature so if you are tall and well built you will stand out more than if you are on the jersey shore or if you're competing with norwegian and finnish giants from Minnesota.

Cost of Living
Temporary living costs are not that much different than anywhere else. Rent is what I'd expect for a 2nd tier city. Gas is priced well at about 3.15/gallon. Booze and cigarettes seem normal.

Real estate is dirt cheap though as are property taxes. 8 year old home with 3 bedrooms built in 2005, with a garage...$130,000. Property taxes...$600/year.

Impressions
This must be what its like for 2Wycked to write posts...I really enjoy the area being from much further north/midwest. There is no winter, the values are conservative, people are friendly enough and living is cheap. I also love the outdoors so that works for me. I doubt this would be a players paradise but would turn out well for daygamers and those looking to slow down a bit.

No i didn't proofread this, i did edit a broken link and video.

Nice datasheet. What about the areas around TN State, MTSU, and Vandy? Or is that closer to Nashville and not useful for the purposes of this datasheet? I'm not sure how familiar you are with the area but if you want to, add to this Memphis datasheet if you have anything worth mentioning: http://www.rooshvforum.com/thread-16258.html

Great sheet!

I've always wanted to visit Great Smokey, it seems very natural and nice. Perfect place to test drive a car and see great views. Why do you think it's a not so good place?

All this time I was thinking you lived in Canada, considering your name is wiscanada.

Memphis and Knoxville are on opposite ends of the state, about 400 miles apart. Nashville is right about in the middle. OP was right to have this data sheet separate because Knoxville is different both geographically and culturally.

I've lived in many places, "Wiscanada" fit when I joined the forum, not so much now.

The Smoky mountains are nice, just time your visit to be between Halloween and April if possible. The warmer weather brings more tourists and the roadways become maxed out in traffic capacity. The main route in (Dolly Parton Parkway) turns into stop and go traffic. There are back roads around it but they are hard to learn on your first go through. The views are also better when the leaves are off of the trees.

Thanks for the data. I've been thinking to do a tour of the south.

Doesn't sound like this would be the best city for daygame. I wonder where in the south would have lots of southern belle type college girls?

RE: East Tennessee Data Sheet
Every time I crossed over into Tennessee it was an adventure. It's like stepping back in time 20 years. I know all things Smokies. The only place worth visiting on the NC side is Harrah's Casino. The place really is a diamond in the rough, and chick pile out from over the TN line to go lose their money. The casino is massive and logistics are perfect. If you got casino game, I recommend it.

There used to be a whorehouse in TN called Brenda's. I've been there and it was interesting to say the least. They sold moonshine on the bar and the place right on the side of the road in plain view. The Smokies are beautiful and I grew up there, but honestly its a place you are better off packing in the pussy and enjoy the scenery. Too bad Ghost Town closed down. Place was great especially if you were high.

If you must game stay around the colleges or hit up Gatlinburg during high season. Lots of chicks are up that way to get a hotel and party. Mountain girls can be easy if you are exotic and and bring something to the table.

Great data sheet from wiscanada.

Southern belles of the best Caibre are in Nashville No questions asked, Visit in May or Fall when Vanderbilt Uni is still in session. Your eyes will be in shock to see so many girls in Daisy Dukes and Cow Boy boots.

Absolutely do the Tour of the South, I will even Advise to start from a little North from Columbus, OH and travel south to Louisville, KY then to Nasville, TN then to Knoxville, TN. How can I forget visit Aliblahba in Athens, GA and finally to Charleston, NC. might throw Atlanta, GA in somewhere

In my early/mid 20's, I was a manwhore to the point of getting bored with the pussy in one county and go conquer another. I tore apart Western Carolina University, Maggie Valley, and Cherokee. Then I'd run road warrior game and cross over into TN, with enough money for gas, $1 menu, and drinks. Not getting laid meant sleeping outside next to my Harley. I did well in Johnson City, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. I went up to a hairdresser convention up there one weekend and it was a fuckfest. I never seen so many wild horny trashy wimminz. I even banged a hot ass lifeguard on Lake Lure. Being young and having a Harley was almost cheating. I ran heavy day game for #'s, then picked them up after they got off work, then to my place to "watch a movie". It was just that quick.

The region is spread out, so chicks out in the boonies will go into the cities to party. Like in the casino. They blow all their money gambling and drinking, and can't afford a room, thus risking a DUI on the way back to TN. That's a great situation if you already have your logistics setup there.

No shit, Cap'n. I assumed he's been to Memphis since it is in the same state and he may be able to provide data on that.

This is a good add that is seems like gatlinburg, sevierville and the smoky mountains are always hosting some sort of convention for something. One could time their visit accordingly, hairdressers, nurses, teachers etc.

RE: East Tennessee Data Sheet
The area is good for road trips. Start on 441 N coming out of Atlanta and stop off in Tallulah Falls.

Trip up and swing a little east and hit sliding rock:

I did that in shit in the dead of winter one time. Holy shit I felt alive that day. Hit up Asheville if you want as downtown is interesting to say the least. It has become a mecca for gays, lesbians, pagans, and freaks. If you got that vibe have at it. I had to get dragged out of two bars last two times I went there. Then head back west getting off on US19.

Waynesville

Not much going on here and you can walk out main street and see everything in about an hour. Only two good bars in town, O'malley's and Bogarts. The latter has the best food, and both are on the same road. Your best chance of getting laid is here.

Maggie Valley

Fun to drive though and beautiful scenery. Only one bar worth seeing, which is Legends. Great food. Check out Hurley's up the road a bit. Cataloochee is up the mountain but they don't have rooms. During the winter season head up and try opening girls, then line up a time to drink back down in the valley. Not hard considering there are only 2-3 bars down there. They have rental cabins behind Legends for proper logistics.

Cherokee

Nothing here but the casino, but for tourists the shops are fun to walk through. Lots of arts, crafts, and souvenirs. Don't try to game here outside Harrah's.

For chasing tail these places take more time and can't compete with Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. The former has better skiing and logistics. Its fucking beautiful up there when they hang the Christmas lights. I had a great weekend once with a chick I met that came in to hit the slopes. Now and again I'd take a chick w/ me just to enjoy an overnighter. Gburg and Pigeon Forge are good almost year round. Haven't been there in forever so I can't give you any up-to-date intel. Just make sure your room is in the middle of the shit and hit the pavement.

RE: East Tennessee Data Sheet
Nice datasheet op well done.

The whole area up there is beautiful esp in Fall/Winter and brings back a lot of memories of the hiking I did up there many years ago. I also remember going up there to buy cheap smokes/alcohol from the Cherokee reservation that's still up there somewhere (??) in North Georgia/Carolina too. Everything there was tax free and much less expensive than in the neighboring bigger towns. Saw some of the poorest people I'd ever seen in my life up there, some real crazy sh*t. Also did a lot of hikes with buddies where we literally carried 2-3 cases of beer to the top of some 4,000 foot mountain and then got totally smashed & smoked up in the middle of nowhere. Good times.

When I was young my dad also used to take me up there on kayaking trips he did with his friends. I'll never forget hanging out and eating in some of those dive bars/restaurants back in the 80s - eating grits, fried chicken, chitlins, black eyed peas etc. Places that would probably make today's Knoxville look like Manhattan - this was almost Deliverance type sh*t!!!))

Edit: [email protected] Ali B reminded me of going to Gatlinburg as a kid and going down this amazing alpine slide ride there which was like the highlight of my summer. The ride was steep as hell and you went down a mountainside and really picked up speed - scared the hell out of me but was great...think this is it:

Yeah this thread got me reminiscing. We did a lot of family trips when I was younger. My parents would give me some cash and turn me loose in Gburg or Pigeon Forge. I'd make a beeline for the arcades. Next time I go up to visit family, I'll stop in for a few days across the mountain. Will probably be around Christmas this year.

The further I explore outside of Knoxville the more "Appalachian" it becomes. The breakdown of girls is mind boggling in rural/small town areas as well. It goes something like this for women of lets say..age 19 to 32

10% fatties
30% burnt out, prematurely aged, chain smoking single moms
15% thin but something just a little off genetically (weird teeth, eyes to far apart etc)
8% goregous 'country' daisy dukes, southern drawl, calendar girl 9s
5% natural redheaded 6's
2% natural redheaded 8's
5% young sluts that will age in the blink of an eye but are hot now and looking for 'a way out of this 1 horse town'
15% Invisible church women that wear 'the uniform' of riding boots, black leggings and big decorative scarves
5% "minorities" black or hispanic
5% "yankees"...bitches with attitude from the east coast

Its just that the variability is so insane. The biggest inbred mutant freaks one day to the hottest, and I mean hottest white girls I've ever seen just working 'regular' jobs like school teacher or cashier at the dollar general.

Compare that to say...wisconsin. where its a more even curve. 50% fatties,20% burnt out single moms, 25% fuckable thick chicks with big tits and 5% smokeshows.

PS, people love to smoke cigarettes here...hence I think the 'aged single mom' look.

RE: East Tennessee Data Sheet
How's Tennesee if you aren't white? Is there any racism to watch out for? Not trying to get my teeth stomped in for talking to a white girl. I would imagine that I'd have to avoid the rural areas and generally stick to places like Nashville.

What's your percentile breakdown of freaks and hotties in Memphis?

I'm highly familiar with Memphis and Nashville, but never had the chance to fully explore Knoxville. We seem to have a wide array of oddly shaped and unattractively androgynous faced women in both cities. The differences between inner city Memphians/Nashvillians compared to denizens of their wealthier suburbs is almost like that of separate species. I've wondered how bad food, unhealthy habits and accommodations have such a profound effect on physical development.

Updating this thread.

The democrats are coming.

Now that Nashville is full, all of the out of state emigration from California and New York is targeting east Tennessee. The city of knoxville has been 'discovered' and will be overrun in 10 years max. However, the smaller towns and 'cities' that have never been on the national news and blend in with google maps are still great. Full churches everywhere, great place to be a christian or find a girl if you have a Dolly Parton fetish.

We need to implement internal passports like they had in the Soviet Union. That is the only way to stop unchecked immigration from Cuckafornia. These hipster faggots ruin any place they settle into.

At the rate things are going, any sizable population center in the South that's not an economically stagnant shithole will be overran by Yankees and Californians. I know that Chattanooga, Greenville, and possibly Huntsville have similar issues.

The worst part is that they have zero respect for what's there in the first place and just change the existing culture into an inferior mini-version of California or the Northeast.
