Hey, man. Can I ask, how did you feel when you were 486?
Honestly I felt awful. Thats why I went and got my levels checked. I think the awful feelings came from the fact I just left my dope house at the beach and had to move back to my hometown. An it was cold shitty winter in my hometown to, as if my hometown was not lame enough.

With the way I was feeling (depressed, lethargic, unmotivated) I thought my T levels where gonna be crazy low. I was surprised when the lab work came back and said it was higher then my starting point. Again a lot of lifestyle factors played in to my slump.

That explains my current state at 443. Unfortunately no one would prescribe injection here in Australia unless you have 1/4 of an average level of 80 year old (which probably is so low you won't even have motivation to go to the doctor anymore).

I got a bioidentical cream prescription though. I know Mike will say it's total shit but it is all got for now. Let's see if it helps.

I want to talk with people who strictly take legit medical TESTOSTERONE boosters.

I took my first 200ml shot of TESTOSTERONE in my ass this morning. Did not hurt at all I was kind of disappointed. I will continue to post in here about my experiences with this treatment.

Heres what a fellow Roosher said about his experience with his TESTOSTERONE treament

no sex drive, none
decreased erections strength

problems adding muscle even at caloric surplus with excellent program

once i get the shots going, about six weeks later it all changed

energy up
sex drive up
fat melt off
muscle build up
positivity back
hard ons at night
harder hard ons

over time Estrogen built up in my system though and now i'm also on an aromatase inhibitor daily, no big deal, keeps things in check

100 ML every 5 days will have you feeling like brand new in 6 weeks bud, no doubt about it.

downsides:

shooting self with needle (get over that quickly)
$$ - but its cheap as shit
shrunken nuts
(for me anyway) decreased seminal volume

this last one is the one that gives me the most heart ache, but you can fix that also by using HcG. it also swells the nuts back up

there is a protocol advocated all over which is

100 mg test cyp /week
.5 arimidex e3d
250 iu hcg e3d

that'll keep you feeling great, estro down and balls swollen

for me, HcG caused too much bloat (like 8-10lbs) and i skipped it. i've made peace with my diminished loads. no one but my main girl has even noticed and she doesn't care at all.

i'm the only one that missed shooting gobs of semen on bitches faces

shocker? maybe not. haha

Please stay out of this thread with trying to argue that people only need to lift heavy and eat nuts to raise their TESTOSTERONE. Those things are fine and dandy but this thread is for people who have made the choice to have medical TESTOSTERONE treatments. Also for people who are curious about it to talk with users who have first hand experience.

I find that eating more fat from dairy, nut, and meat sources raises my testosterone quite a bit. As does sleeping more.

Cutting fat, especially belly fat, will raise your levels too.

Definitely limit your consumption of alcohol.

I'm not disapproving of you injecting testosterone, but I think augmenting the injections with some diet and lifestyle changes would be wise.

Note I'm NOT saying that you ONLY need to use natural methods. I'm saying use all tools at your disposal, including the medical injections.
Just be sure to be aware of the risks too.

Well the cream is better then nothing. Its a start, hopefully it will workout for you and maybe after being on it you can talk a Doctor into letting you switch to injections. Good luck!

I agree with you. I think any guy should make those adjustments to his lifestyle regardless of whether or not he is getting on TRT. Other then falling off the horse a month or two here and there I have been eating clean, working out, sleeping well, and not over indulging in alcohol for years.

I had a six pack before I got on TRT. Sometimes a healthy life style and all the things you listed aren't enough.

Exactly, I eat paleo-zone, do CrossFit and lift, my bodyfat is around 10%, six pack is visible in the mirror, don't smoke, drink very little, sleep 7-8 hours. And my levels are going down (473 last year, now 443) WTF else can I do?

Remove mercury amalgam fillings. Google more on mercury and its relationship with testosterone.

Then your intestinal lining may be damaged and can't properly produce vitamin b12 which is required to build more testosterone. Have b12 injection not oral since this is the most effective. Add some folic acid or any fat to complement b12.

What's your e2 at? At around 400 my e2 was 7. Which is extremely low.
I felt like absolute crap compared to how I feel now.

You can also try vegetable juicing. I was able to get my T from the 300's to 500. However, the older I got the lower my T would go down no matter how paleo, how much I did CF, or how much I slept. It was a losing battle. I wish I would have just gone on the T replacement at 35 instead of waiting until I was 37. It's a game changer.

RE: TESTOSTERONE injections
I took a cycle of test enanthate a couple of years back in my early 20's. It was a small amount about 400 mg a week or every 2 weeks, I don't quite remember, and I gained 20 lbs. I didn't have any side effects, balls didn't shrink, no roid rage, gained 20 lbs even though I'm a hard gainer and I didn't change my diet. Only side effect I noticed was a few pimples on my back. I have been thinking about doing it again, but I would like to make sure I'm doing it right and I would like to do it under the guidance of a doctor, how do I go about doing getting a doctor to prescribe me some test? (not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread already)

Got my 5% cream. Three days in. Will see how it goes.

Hey this is exactly how it happened to me. I was good at 35 and after that last three years are all the way down.

Injection is better than cream or so I heard. I never tried cream so I cannot comment much on it. However, I do injections. 250 mg every week. 23G, 1.25 inch needles into the glutes. I inject every Sunday night so that I have energy to do work from Monday onwards. I will gradually feel weaker in weekends, but it's okay.

Do you know what it the minimum allowed amount in Australia that is still considered "normal"? From my blood panel, it is 230! Two hundred and thirty.

Unless you get into 200s, no injections. This is ridiculous.

They cite a study here http://www.artofmanliness.com/2013/01/16...ne-levels/ where 471 (I have less than that) is average for 75-84 year old.

Can you imagine what _average_ 75 year old is? Probably not in a very good condition on a way out to the "better world" any time soon. Who wants to be average anyways?

And they say 230 is still "OK". This half of 75 year old average.

RE: TESTOSTERONE injections
Got my bloodwork done - I'm at 638 total, but 11 Free. Estradiol at 14.

My initial reaction is that my Free T number seems pretty low compared to the Total T, considering the natural range is 9-27 for Free T, and I'm at 11. Just me but at first glance seems a lot lower on the natural scale than my 638 total Test.

Overall I feel alright but it seems like things have slowed down a bit - that extra aggression in the gym, ambition, etc. Looking for that edge as I head into my 30s and beyond (31 now). But figured I would drop my numbers here and see if anyone with experience reading labs has thoughts/feedback, particularly on the ratio b/w total and free T...

Travel tip for those on TRT:

If you're traveling with pre-filled syringes, a good storage container for them is an eye-glasses case. The hard surface will protect them from being accidentally moved around and having the plunger pushed. Also you can stuff in the required number of alcohol wipes into the case as well. Obviously it's also a standard item so no one is going to ask questions. Previously I just used a ziploc bag inside toiletry kit, but this is better.

One of the issues that has worried--and prevented--me from embarking on testosterone cycling or continuous TRT is what happens if you can't get access to it for a prolonged period of time.

Just off the top of my head I can imagine if you happen to get arrested, and sitting in a jail cell without access to your testosterone injections. A hellish nightmare where the hormonal re-balance causes all kinds of horrible effects that you can't treat.

What if you go on TRT and lose your job, go bankrupt etc and can't afford the treatment anymore? Detained abroad? World War III?

These are the things that I fret about.

You can fret about them when they happen. They didn't yet.

I can go out tomorrow and get hit by a bus and die in pain. So what? I am not going to fret about it today and it likely won't happen if I am careful.

RE: TESTOSTERONE injections
I went to a Anti-Aging clinic yesterday. Place seems legit - was referred by my BJJ gym (my instructor goes there), apparently a lot of big names in my city go there, and guys in the local MMA community. They seemed to really like the fact that I was referred vs walking in cold.

The owner - big scary looking dude obviously on gear (good sign I guess??) - immediately noted that my Free T was very low (11) compared to my Total T (638). He took another test to check my Lutenizing Hormone levels because that wasn't part of the test I got from PrivateMD labs - I got a higher-end male anti-aging panel but I realize now some important #s were missing from it - LH, Cortisol, couple others. Anyway he said that he wanted to check the LH levels because the Low Free T/normalish total T basically meant my body wasn't utilizing the Total T. If the LH was low that might be the cause, he might perscribe HCG initially. His basic thing was saying that they treat aggressively but if I could fix my Free T with HCG they may go that route initially, and if that doesn't work look at "other options" which I'm assuming is Prop/Cyp. We'll see what happens when I get my LH numbers back.

I've seen mixed reviews on HCG and while I knew it's related to LH, I just thought of it primarily in the context of something that was used to increase ball volume/sperm count. I need to read up on HCG more and keep reading through D&Ps stuff. Anyway, we'll see what happens.

OK, I've been on cream for a couple of weeks now.

I don't know if it is a placebo effect or what but I've notices a couple of thing.

First is that first time in a long long long time I slept through the night without waking up at all. Usually it's like three times or more.

Second is, subjectively, "brain fog" that I had kind of eased out. I can now focus properly when I work.

BTW, I have the same thing as poledaddy, low Free T comparing to total T, however even the total T is in 400s and Free T is around 6.6

You may want to use Proviron to increase Free T. I feel more alpha with it. Maybe placebo but I swear by it.

RE: TESTOSTERONE injections
I would say that injections are superior to testosterone creams. Creams will invariably absorb at a different rate each time you apply it. Proviron can be a great libido booster and is quite effective for increasing free testosterone. Just be aware that it can be rough on the prostate for some people.

The female panel is a better deal than buying the male panel.

It will give test levels and estradiol levels as well as a few other biomarkers that are useful (but not really relevant for TRT guys).

There could be an entire separate thread on lab work, but I'm not going to type into the ether.

If a guy gets his labs done and has specific questions, I'll answer them. It's NOT medical advice, though.

You use Proviron by itself? Curious to hear your experience with it.
