Did he come up and hit you from the side or behind when you weren't looking? That's a sucker punch.

If you were mouthing off to him, as you apparently were, and he cracks you, that's not a sucker punch. That's someone getting blasted for being an asshole.

I'm glad someone finally said that. If it was really a sucker punch, the DJ deserves a night in a cell. Nothing excuses that. When someone cannot protect themselves because they have no chance to see a strike coming, it is no different than "the knockout game." Sucker punching is completely different than a mano-e-mano fair fight.

If someone hits me with a sucker punch, I'm filing a police report. I'll let them try to be an A-hole with the cops and the criminal justice system. Any other face-to-face physical altercations I'll just chalk up to "man stuff." But sucker punches are inexcusable. Ultimate pussy A-hole move.

Some jackass sucker punched my brother in the head in a club and messed him up. His best friend broke off a table leg and (face-to-face) knocked the guy unconscious. That is what a sucker punch should get you.

well, I gave this bartender guy a racial slur (I had to due to the situation)
but they still let me come. When he saw me again, he didn't even care. He even laughed about how I called him 'xxxx bitch' and we became cool about it. Mad respect for him.

My drunk friend told the doorman how he only makes $8 bucks an hour when he got kicked out.
he still went there after that.

I actually don't remember. I couldn't find it because someone I knew in the bar wanted to hear it. When I was searching through his songs, he even let me search through his songs to look for it, I just picked any Micheal song.

Now that I think about it. He should had hit me twice not once.

I am going to stop mixing weed and alcohol. Not a good mix.

I was in front of him but he was on the other side of the booth. I couldn't hit him back even if I tried because while I was leaning in, he leaned in and then threw a punch.

In theory it was a sucker punch because I was not paying attention to him.

If he would have said "hey let's do this outside" then I would be the one in jail. It took 5 security guards to hold me back. I am not even a big dude. I am 6'1 and weight around 185.

It being a sucker punch is up for debate.

I just don't understand why he got so aggravated about. I have been going there long enough to know that the only reason he did it was because he knew the security guards will have his back. I think it was one of those "I am tough because my boys are in the spot" moments.

I did learn from that experience.

I learned to never get too comfortable even if your a regular. The people that work there don't give a fuck about you. Do your job, get a girl, and get the fuck out.

You are missing the real lesson.

If you want to have a place on lock, you have to embrace it and become it, not be fight against it. You have to treat the staff like family, and think of the place as your house.

I know because I've been kicked out of places in the past that had good streams of pussy.

You can't shit where you eat. Invest in them, and they will invest in you with free drinks, letting you skip the line etc.

You want the DJ to be introducing you to fly girls and there friends, not punching you in the face.

Shit happens. Chalk it up to the game.

In the meantime, just make cool and go back. If thats no good, then find another spot.

WIA- For most of men, our time being masters of our own fate, kings in our own castles is short. Even those of us in the game will eventually succumb to ease of servitude rather than deal with the malaise of solitude

If you stand out, which is something that all players should aspire to do, you are going to get attention from haters.

That said, don't fuck around with DJs.

RE: Post fight at Regular Spot
If I had a problem with an employee at a bar and wanted to keep going back, I would show up in the daytime before all the customers were out and talk to the guy or talk (or a manager if that isn't going to go over well). Not to make a problem with him or for him but to apologize (if I was an ass) or just to smooth it over, squash the beef, and/or iron out any confusion that led to the incident in the first place.

Always the best way to deal with people who handle drunken assholes all night.

If you're unsure whether they'll recognize you, give it a little time and just show up one night - they may not even notice.

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling
