This was congruent with my thinking as well. I don't see this behavior by Pinoy guys as being non-submissive. When you observe them in the presence of their Pinay wife, it's like they are behaving in the presence of royalty. However once they get P'O'D and usually drinking in a major way, watch out as many Filipinas with missing front teeth will attest.

Its the mother son dynamic going on. The wife is the breadwinner simp. While her son/husband can do no wrong and is coddled. Treating them like mamas boys

RE: The Philippines thread
I like to read up on this thread once in awhile and see what the consensus is on the Phils.

To someone who is about to leave for their first trip to the Philippines, they need to know that there are 2 very different Philippines.

-If you stay in the big cities or nice areas like BGC/Makati/etc. everything is expensive, the women are all westernized and it's not representative of the rest of the country.

-Yes, the women are somewhat child-like and not the sharpest tools in the shed.

-To really experience the Philippines, get out into the second/third-tier cities. That's where the pinays all party like it's 2012 and as a foreigner, you can pull 5's and 6's (and the occasional 7) until you get bored.

The Philippines is the only place in the world I have found where you can meet an English-speaking woman on Tinder and she will come back to your place for fun, all in the same day. It's still great there for me, even if it isn't what it once was.

I loved Vietnam too and the women are hotter. But it was a more westernized form of dating for me and I didn't have time for that.

FWIW, Reekay is in Vietnam lately but says he may move back to the phils. When he was there he admitted he looks like and gets mistaken for a Philippino guy all the time (he's Mexican American). Probably gives him a slight edge against getting scammed.

Worst taxis in the world in phillipines imo. The driving is wreckless sometimes stupid and life risking. Countless of times i almost had a accident taking a taxi.rushed driving and whiplash jerking motions are excpected as part of taxis in manila.that includes grab drivers as well. Jeepneys and buses are worse. I try to take the metro in manila as much as possible.

Parisian taxis are pretty terrible too, even compared to Manila. Arab-slaves who think we should give them respect for doing their job. It's better to only take ubers because they have to contain their foaming anger and act like good slaves if they don't want to get a bad rating. Apparently they act even worse in their home arab country. Back home they try to scam foreigners and have horrible behavior according to people I know who've been there.

I enjoyed the heck out of her playing and she really enjoyed the extras she was getting. It was not a big circle of guys but just a few but if I had asked her to lets include someone else in our play she had never said no.

It stayed this way for more than a few years and at this point it had been maybe a year since we had brought anyone else in to our circle. Had no immediate plans to include anyone else and she really liked the guys that we were playing with. With that being said I had a long time good friend that I ran into at a work function and we hung out and caught up on life. She had known John for nearly as long as I had.

That night when I got home I told her that I had ran into John and hoped it was okay but I had invited him over to grill on Saturday. She was all good with that and asked me if I had talked much to him about how things had been going. I told her still not married and still the same big guy she always knew. John was right under six foot tall and he tipped the scales at three fifty plus and not a muscular guy at all. But all in all a good guy and funny.

So he came over and we had a great time and over the next couple of months John spent a lot of time at our place and we would watch sports, drink and play cards and have a good time. We liked having someone to hang out with one Friday afternoon John gave me a call and asked would we consider hanging out at his place as we have never saw his place. I called her and she said sure. We found out where to go and headed there Saturday afternoon.

The jerking motions of these vehicles is what I most notice stand out. It really is insane. Being in the so called "public transportation" vehicle, watching the jeepney I am in race alongside a taxi to pull ahead and move about the road like this is the grand prix wild wild west style.

To see anything like this involving public transport, taxis, and private cars on the road in Boston would be like in a science fiction movie. Unimaginable.

I just take Grab Car in Manila area they are really OK for the most part. I don't recommend Taxi though. They fucking crazy Smile I assume most of the high caliber drivers are working at Grab.

They also have Grab Premium, it's not super expensive if you want a nicer ride.

Yes. The foreigner who talks to me in the hotel is complaining about heaps of problems all relating to "low IQ", no logical sense ect. It is the primary cause of failures for him, according to him. And everything he complained about, I also experienced in the past 3 days, so it's everywhere. Yeah, it's really that bad. He goes back home tomorrow.

I read about a consistent decline in the academic performance in the last years analyzed. This place is in a sorry state. I get weird greetings all the time too.
A typical guy who sees me all the time will say things like "you play basketball?"
Security guard "who's your president?" asks me EVERY time I walk past him. Like WTF?
Or when I come from the market with my fruits, a security guard there with nothing better to do always says "bununuh, pupayah"
really weird stuff.

Honestly, the person on the forum who compared it to Africa, I think it wasn't even a fair comparison. Everyone I talked to from places like Nigeria or Zambia had either same or superior intellect, but never worse. I think Africa is more "Alpha" than the Philippines lol.

I am in preparation for a transition, in the long term, for going back to Latin America. With the visa free regime (thanks Bolsonaro!) Brazil could become the new central point of my living arrangements.

Before going to 2nd tier cities, try other hoods apart from Makati and BGC, there are 13 million ppl in Metro Manila, never ending playground

Girl from tinder invited me to a Magdalyong to a house party(4 girls) in so I met them on a main street and walked thru a backstreet alley mby 50 meters, probably was not a smart move because I haven't even videocall before, but every thing turned out amazing, thankfully

Hey guys, I will be in Manila and Cebu for two weeks this month starting from this weekend. I am open to meet up with fellow RVFers and gain some insights/knowledge about the Philippines and the women. Hit me up with a message if y'all want to meet up or we can meet some chicks together in the malls. Cheers

This guy gets it.

But lots of posters here acting like PH is done for but Metro Manila still has some outlier cities that have cutie quality conservatives who you'd never see on dating apps or rarely on the party scene.

Valenzuela City? Paranaque? Caloocan City? Las Pinas? Alabang? Malabon? Navotas? no one talks about these cities but there are hidden gems there, if you know where to look

Shit even Mandaluyong City, Pasig City, San Juan, Pasay City, Quezon City would be the next cities to venture into after after BGC or Makati. Not as popular to for foreigners but still better for finding decent women for LTRs

I'm not condoning one nights stands but if thats what you want then Makati/BGC is the place to be. But don't bitch saying they're sluts (no shit you're also not their first foreigner in their foreigner harem. Yes, even the rich ones with a foreigner fetish) they will congregate towards where foreigners congregate to because they know you're only here for 2 weeks to a month(up to 6mo-1yr if they know youre on a contract.) Locals cant judge them because nobody knows who you are.

But if you are one looking for more of a Filipina LTR then really try to venture to outlying cities and stay for a little while. Shit I'll even give you an example get an Anytime Fitness Pass and go to the gym between 3-8pm. They have money and educated enough to afford it. You might even snipe some good ones in the morning. They come from a similar class that you come from. Date them and not the squatter hookers that I think a lot of people here are meeting from Makati Ave. You're welcome.

I hate the transit system, dysfunctional families, rampant cheating, low IQ, filth, etc of this country as much as the next guy here but it is what it is.

Personally, I think the PH is only good for its beaches and business opportunities. Why someone would want to live in the big city permanently is beyond me unless you have business interests (thats why I've been here for almost 8 years). I don't even want to marry a Filipina unless they come from a classy and wealthy background (usually Fil-Chi). I'd much rather go for an East Asian decent type.

TLDR: Enjoy PH for what its known for. Beaches and women. Just enjoy the defunct countries and cities for what it is. Its not everyday you ride a crappy jeepney or death metal box no cushion tricycle just enjoy it before going back to your home country.

PS: Typing this all in Victoria Court next to a 23yr old Fil-Chi rich girl (cause of her family wealth) who thinks the world of me because I've managed to game into helping finance me and all of my partners business.

Maybe because I've been here for 8 years so I know who I want to target. I wanted to do business with other Chinese partners therefore I targeted rich girls (networking, connections, financing, etc) Most foreigners come here targeting sex so they just go with whoever is available for that...which is usually the cheap ass bitches.

PH is probably 90% filled with poverty whore slut money hungry bitches...why not? Sometimes reality trumps morality. They need the money to survive.

But if you know how to integrate yourself with the middle..or even better high class society here. Your seeds will prove fruitful, I promise.

Thats my rant and I'm drunk and gonna sleep. My last thoughts are have fun in PH but if you want wifey...I'd personally go for East Asian. Mabuhay and enjoy PH for what it is

Pasay is actually not bad. Of course MOA is there, the waterfront, harbour front, the outdoor fish market with all the restaurants that cook what you buy. The casinos are all there. Yeah it’s scummy but its the real Manila as opposed to BGC or Greenbelt.

I'm wondering about the 2nd-3rd tier cities as well. I want nothing to do with westernized women. I basically just want to sit on a beach for a couple of weeks and find some traditional girls that are not addicted to a smart phone. Anyone have recommendations?

RE: The Philippines thread
Any city that isn't named Makati or Cebu. Keep in mind in some of these smaller cities, boredom might become a problem, but usually if you stick around for a day or two you'll be surprised at the quality and how receptive the girls are. Forget about online, just show up, buy a San mig and post up at the local 711 and watch em walk by.... Its not to hard. Anyway heres a short list..

Tacloban
Ormoc
Calbayog
Bacalod
Ilolio
Cagayan de oro
Butuan
Iligan
Legazpi
Cabuantuan city

You want to avoid places where there are high concentrations of tourists/backpackers. These places are:

1.Makati
2. Bgc
3. Cebu City (especially IT park...... Others parts of the city I've had more luck such as Lapu Lapu and Minglanilla)
4.Bohol (Panglao and taglibiran specifically )
5. Siargao (locals are spoiled and arrogant due to the amount of rich foreigners in such a small area, and the fact that it's mostly young, under 30 jacked surfer dudes.....good luck)
6.Palawan (El nido and Puerto Princess)
7. Boracay

Hope this helped buddy
