May I ask you how much you paid for your plane ticket and what is your logistical planning like (are you staying in the same hotel for a week, moving to a new location/island every other day etc)? I want to backpack/ride a dirtbike in the countryside/beaches and not be in the city at all, but then I feel like I risk not meeting any girls because I look like a fucking backpacker Lol.

I paid 720 bucks for a 1 week roundtrip. I am going all over the place so I am not just there for the girls lol. You could try to find a girl that is willing to go with you. I am confident there are plenty of girls that will go to different locations and hike around places like Chocolate Hills. But the question would be if the girl you would take is willing to pay herself on these trips or would you have to pay for her.

. . .just a comment that in the thrashy international circles i.e. mostly locals and low budget travellers, some of the girls do actively throw themselves at backpacker-looking guys, if they seem anglosaxon or nordic. . . No game required indeed.

I look like a short mediterranean type going for a more smooth style ; I've had this type of girls drop me mid-conversation to go approach some haggard-looking drunk guy in cargo shorts, sandals and baggy t-shirt that had just stumbled in.

I digress but often this type of girls hate my guts. It's like, unlike European girls, they don't "get" what I'm trying to sell. Lol
My unapologetic, opinionated and uncooperative style probably doesn't help either, even when it's mostly tongue-in-cheek. The "push" part of push-pull falls on them like the Hiroshima bomb. I often catch some locals giving me angry stares from afar but that's entering social circle drama territory. . .

Anyway, I've even seen these types take 50+ year olds and/or downright lame fat guys dressed like stereotypical backpackers as boyfriends. Not that you necessarily have to be like that but just saying. . .

I feel for you, man.

Also, selfishly, its nice to hear anglo saxon men are popular.

RE: The Philippines thread
AsiaBaller, what you saw is mostly true.

The typical Asian immaturity is made worse here by the cultural void; pretty much like foreign oppression stunted their own natural development and at the same time left them psychologically messed up for generations. . .

But there's two problems :

First, if it was for hypergamy alone, I'd be doing great with the lower class girls, but as I just said, it's worse. The app where I have over 9000 likes and 0 meets is called Tan-Tan and it's a shithole like DIA (which I deleted after a couple days). I still get a bunch of matches per swiping session but not yet a minimally coherent conversation.
Instead, the girls I've banged so far are from Tinder and Bumble, where I only get a few new matches per week. There the conversion rate from 1st date to sex was 100%.
. . .and those and almost any other pulls I've managed, followed a basic structure of progress from basic polite conversation, to push-pull/banter to venue changes and deep-diving. As awkward as I may be. . .
In other words, because gold-digging/hypergamy is partial we are all already operating in a gray area that includes some "game" needed to maneuver. Better or worse. . .

Second, it may be a waste of time to come here for the girls, maybe. . . probably. . . But I'm stuck for a couple years for career reasons and already banging 5s and 6s. So going somewhere else is out of question, the hand, going gay, ladyboys, animals on the street, priesthood, that's all out of question. The only option is to try to figure out how can I improve what I'm already doing. . .

RE: The Philippines thread
^ The girls who have hang out in foreigner social circles, are on Tinder, date white guys or go to Cove/BGC/Poblacion bars are the most convenient, most westernised so easiest to get on with and have a much higher proportion of hot ones but still only account for 1% of the 8 million females in Metro Manila.

If you're having a hard time with them, go for the other 99% of girls who have no experience of that kind of thing and you'll have some exotic value to. As long as you are at least as attractive as a small ugly Filipino guy in a mouldy t shirt and beat up flip flops earning 10k pesos a month whilst having an affair with their cousin then you'll be fine.

How did you manage to get a job working in Manila? That's something that a lot of people here would love to do and find very difficult whilst they find the girls easy. If you can help them out with advice for that then people will be much more willing to give advice on the girls.

Lol. . .ok. . .
I'll rephrase :

With exceptions, the only girls I seem to get along with is a subset of the westernized girls - more "professional" side. Looks in the 5-6 range.
Either way, I haven't seen many above 7.
I'm interested in knowing what are the good venues.

This thread is cracking me up. All the talk about the Phils being done. It's not. Sure there has been a decline in Makati/BGC. I mean, those places are practically 1st world. Get out of the cities beyond Cebu even. I follow girls I tindered in the cities on instagram. I see them posting pics at hotels I know they can't afford unless they are riding the carousel. There are a million islands where you will be greeted with rock star status. But hey, if you want your high speed internet and burger delivery then you deserve the Makati carousel riders.

RE: The Philippines thread
This country has such a weird influence on middle-aged men. Almost cultish. Philippines has to be candy corn and rainbows and lily pads andthe moment you try and have a discussion about it you're a bad guy. It's almost sickening especially coming from guys who spent a month there and know absolutely nothing.

Feed them chicken bones.
