Like Roosh I also have Persian roots and sport long beard. This point is very true. I did night game for a week in Rostov-on-Don last summer. And I was grabbing girls in night club left, right and centre.

My Iranian face never was a problem. Because Rostov has a high population of Armenians, Georgian and Azeri community (where my father is coming from). However, long beard was definitely a head turner

I can vouch, i have Iranian roots, i am now growing my beard but trying to style it out. Beards are good for the more Chechenyana region of russia, Caucasus girls love it.

Would you guys consider southern Russian cities to be safer for dark-skinned foreigners compared to cities like moscow and St. Petesburg? I'm referring to cities like Rostov-on-don and Sochi. How's the crime rate in these cities compared to northern russian cities? I've always assumed they would be safer for non-whites like me due to the large armenian minority.

^^ I'd book much closer to travel date. Try plugging in dates for this month and you'll find that flights as low as $555 for a 1-stop RT from NYC April 21-may 21. Nonstop is $675.

I have fair skin myself, but Italian friends sometimes report fewer problems in Ukraine. After saying that, I don't think you'll find Russia particularly dangerous. It's more of an annoyance - for example, police stopping you for document checks.

Major tip bros: the beginning of May are huge holidays in Russia. Dyvushki will be fleeing to beach towns. They can't do Turkey, and they can't do Egypt. This means they'll be concentrated in the Greece's, Cyprus's, and Sochis of the world. Greece requires a visa, and there are concerns that Sochi won't be warm enough. Do yourselves a favor and book a hotel on the strip in Ayia Napa, and it'll be like shooting fish in a barrel. Israel could also be good.

Abkhazia could also be worth a gander (for the more adventurous types). It's dirt cheap, rather unspoiled but filled with Russian tourists every summer. Vorkuta did a report there (Summer 2012) and highly recommended the place.

RE: The Russia Thread
Apparently I belong in Sochi. Never been, and it seems expensive. I desire more depressing places than this Russian playground.

I will have to say, I have overlooked St. Petersburg. I was up there for the weekend from Moscow for a meeting with a business park owner in a town called Karichi. Karichi was clean and might be a fun place to check out for game. That is the only thing it would be good for, the chance to be a rock star in an out of the way town with an oil refinery everyone works for.

2 hour taxi drive back to Saint Peter and I was kind of spent and couldn't bring myself to go out on Saturday even though I was matching well with the local talent online. I must have got 30 matches in 24 hours and had a couple of 7s offer to go out with me. I was up there with a Russian girl from Moscow and wasn't sure how things would go as we were also staying in the same room at the Raddison. No dice, mostly because she knows my LTR and it was probably too close to the fire for both of us. I might head up there at the beginning of May as the train station to Peter is so close to where I live. Took the overnight train and think it would be very hard to bang on. No girls in the dining car and too many people in the 4 person sleeping cab. The chick sleeping above me (7.5) on the way back to Moscow was saying my beer farts stink and I snore so loud. I took this statement as a compliment and a badge of honor.

I would not say it is too bad.
May is not warm enough for beach towns in Russia.
I would also add Thailand to the list of escape for Russians.
Girl outflow at least in 2nd tier cities is not noticeable.

There is also another side to all of this.
On 9th of May all girls will be flooding the high-streets. They will be in a good mood. And you can go on a day game frenzy, with nearly unlimited amount of targets.
This is not Christmas, when everyone is celebrating at home.
I've been to Russia during may and both night and daygame only got better during celebrations.

Yup. I was there mid-April with my LTR. It was plenty warm, and plenty of Russian girls, even though Cyprus is not close to full capacity. Regret was that our hotel was poorly located. You want to be on the central beach strip in Ayia Napa, and you want to be there during a Russian holiday.

Cicero, if i remember right, theres:

1- nissi beach which has a strip of hotels and is the best beach for young people in summer. Its a bit away from town center and bar street

2- the square and the bar streets around it inside the town

3- the beach thats inside the town which in summer is more family oriented

Do you recall which of the 3 woukd be the best location? Might do a quick trip to check it out

Beirut
Budva

Tbilisi
Ayia Napa
Bodrum
Mamaia

Yo bro, I don't know. We went to Ayia Napa for a day, and there were plenty of bars/clubs in the downtown area, and cool looking beach bars in the main beach area which was nice. Probably there are other nice beaches, maybe even nicer, but this would do in beginning of May if you want a beach crawling with Russian girls...

Funny that in Last page of Russian thread most discussed places are Thailand and Cyprus.
BTW had anyone been to Russian Crimea? Or Ukrainian Crimea before? Any differences? Is it worth it? It is high on my list because as of now it is warmest part of Russia, but I have heard it is expensive.

Tricky question, would you consider Crimean Flag Russian flag or Ukrainian?

I have been to Crimea, while it was Ukraine, a week spent mainky in Yalta, but also visited Simferopol. Beautiful place, possibly the worst to game in all FSU. I would say 90% of the chicks are with boyfriends,
sponsors or in family vacations, the other 10% are in there searching for suckers to sponsor a little bit of their vacations, commonly I ran over to the same girls in any given different night with different male company...I was their company in other previous night, so it was negatively amazing to see this phenomenom.

Simferopol had potential, it is on the interior side of the Peninsula, so not a touristic spot, but did not stayed longer to figure it out, I just wanted to get out of Crimea really fast.

Go there to see the nature or for cultural/historical reaons. No point in taking girls there because it is expensive, and you can find cheaper places also in the black sea, or even in W. Europe. Service is the worst I have seen anywhere I have been, and I think service in Ukraine is not bad at all, opposite to many here.

I woild have done things differently if it was today. Instead of spendikg the majority of the time in Yalta, I would have rented a car and explore the maximum of places I could in there one dsy in each, trying zero date or maximum first date bang and then move on to other place. Maybe this could have worked out for better results.

Car rent in Russia is expensive. More expensive, then in western Europe and US. Comparing to Spain 3 times more expensive.
And the service is not really good. Once I had a guy giving me a car with half tank and expecting for me to return it with a full one. When I noticed, instead of getting ashamed he got angry...

I finally got Vkontakt, so I can try and game dev's online for future trips.

Do you guys keep your profile in all Cyrillic? I can't tell of that many Russian girls have English in their profile or if it's just the auto-translator showing their page in English.

Probably better to go full authentic Cyrillic eh?
