RE: Roosh Appreciation Thread
After watching the Roosh/Feminist interview I was going to leave this in that thread... but that thread seems over run with talk of homos and trannys.
Roosh is the man. He shares views that I have had all my life and felt like a outkast for it. Then as fate would have it one day I stumbled upon the forum and my whole life has changed. I no longer feel like theres something wrong with me or I'm "Shallow" because I only like to fuck hot, thinish, youngish women. Now I have embraced this life and lifestyle and have traveled to Asia and South America and getting set to travel all over the world.... which I would have never done before I found the forum. I used to think having nice cars and toys was what life was all about... even though I do genuinely like cars not just for picking up girls. I feel more happy traveling to a new country and banging a local then I ever did driving around in a fancy car.
I try to go above and beyond anytime I get a email or question on here about something I can help someone with. The first forum member I ever met from RooshV was chochemonger1. It was in the Philippines, my first time being in a new country and not knowing anyone. I was kind of freaking out like WTF have I got myself into. Then the first day I am in the Phils chochemonger1 comes to my room with a beer and a piece of paper and pen and goes over everything I needed to know to get by in the Phils and also to game girls there.... and that was that. I knew I had made the right choice and the RooshV lifestyle was legit. Because of that experience I try to give back anything I can to other members of the forum. I know it sounds kind of cheesy but I consider this place to be like a brotherhood, this feels more like family to me then my family ever did. Its just great to be able to talk to and share thoughts with like minded individuals.
I thought of all this when the interviewer asked Roosh what he thinks will be his most memorable achievement or something a long those lines... the first thing that came to my mind was that this guy is literally changing lives all over the world. Every forum member I have met, over 10 or so pretty much agrees they wouldn't be living quite this way if not Roosh and the forum. Thats some powerful shit man

RE: Roosh Appreciation Thread
Resurrecting this old thread because of some recent thoughts on Roosh and his philosophy.
I probably disagree with ~40% - 50% of Roosh's opinions. However, that does not diminish my respect for Roosh; it enhances it.
Roosh is one of few, if not the only, independent intellectuals today. His observations are independent of any external philosophy. His philosophy is almost entirely based on conclusions he has come to on his own.
This is why he has been attacked so often. His viewpoints reflect thinking that does not toe to a particular party line. If you pay attention, you will notice that all of his critics, progressive journalists and white nationalists alike, blindly follow particular philosophies.
Roosh's greatest gift to the world has been the resurrection of independent thinking. He has indirectly encouraged many of his readers to come to their conclusions about certain issues. This level of independent thinking has not seen since Nietzsche and Hegel.
Hats off to Roosh once again. His odyssey in search of self-discovery and better pussy may lead to a new Renaissance based on independent conclusions in the near future.

RE: Roosh Appreciation Thread
I can offer my perspective, as someone who has worked for him at Return of Kings since early 2013 and on many different projects.
He listens to his people and their input, has the most unimpeachable integrity you'll find out there, and does not micromanage people.
If there are any managers out there reading this, take note.
It was once said that a king's most rare skill was "allowing himself to be served by his ministers."
This quality I can say Roosh has.

RE: Roosh Appreciation Thread
I'm definitely grateful for Roosh's work. I think I came across his landing page for Bang in 2011. I was in a bad marriage that was heading south (divorced in 2013). It was either Vox Day or Aaron Cleary that linked to him. I've been reading ROK pretty much since it went public in 2012. I've recommended ROK to a few people, and my profile on RVF says I referred a member, but I don't remember who.
I haven't had a chance to meet Roosh in person. When I reviewed "Dead Bat" on my blog, a commenter claimed to have met Roosh in person and said he was a great guy. I firmly believe that.
People claim Roosh is a PUA and MRA, both of which are category errors. I've found Roosh to be a great modern scholar and philosopher. I've followed his growth over the last 5 years or so, and I've grown as well. As a Christian, I've seen his transition from hedonism to be almost the perfect personification of Ecclesiastes. I've bought his Life's Work package, a Lifetime Gold forum membership, and the video of his New York speech. I did a double take watching the video of his speech when he double-emphasized "church" as a place to meet girls.
I think my two favorite Roosh moments are his almost Rabbinical blog post "Roosh, teach me everything you know about girls", and another post where he showed the transcript of some girl on Facebook who claimed she was hot, and he responded "I'll be the judge of that. Looking at your pictures now..."
Anyway, Roosh, I'm glad you're out there. Thanks for your leadership, scholarship, and willingness to take the heat so that hopefully we can take our culture back. I don't know if, had the meetups happened tonight, I would have made the DC one. I live 60 miles south of DC. But someday, I'd love to have a couple beers with you.
