After trying a successful new daygame strategy this week, I am newly inspired and want to share some success.

I went out to some parks in NYC armed with my old DSLR camera. It’s a Canon EOS 20D with a 28-125 USM II lens. Its an older model, I got it back in 2007, but it works great and looks very professional. I believe you can get a used one for about $200.

I also brought a pad with me and a marker…I will get a thicker marker, like a sharpie, for next time so it will be easier to read the writing.

I kept the camera slung over one shoulder and the pad and marker in a messenger bag over the other.

Kept an eye out for attractive girls and when I saw some, I walked over nicely and said “excuse me, can I talk to you for a minute?” 95% said yes. Then I said “I am writing an article on women’s style, do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions and take your photo?” They agreed wholeheartedly.

Then I told them I wanted them to write down the answers to the question in the pad so they could show it to the camera when I took the photo. They get really excited after hearing that.

I take out the pad and pen, hand it to them, and ask the to write three things:

-Where they grew up.
-The location where we are right now.
-What they think men in the area can do to be more attractive.

I usually flirted with them a bit when they were writing, asking them if they were just visiting or living here, making fun of their handwriting, teasing, etc…then I had them display the pad and took their photo.

If the chick was not to my liking I just said “thanks so much for your time, it was nice talking to you” and walked off. Still felt good because talking to girls is a good time and daygaming fills you with a special kind of energy. The girls I was attracted to I talked to some more, dropped some bait, got the number and then left. The last girl I met, I invited out for a beer on the spot and she came with.

Nosy American girls like to ask, “So what are you writing for? Whats your name? blahfuckinblah?” I wanted to tell them “ReturnofKings” but they had their phones out to check the website and I didn’t feel like being the victim of a witchhunt. So I told them tsbmen.com to cover my ass. The polite foreign girls never asked me any nosy questions and were just pleasant to talk to.

I would highly, highly, highly recommend this type of game to any guy who suffers from approach anxiety. It is such an easy and innocent way to get into daygame and practice talking to chicks if you don’t have that much experience. Plus it was fucking fun.

Other notes:
-Keep the pad and pen away, people will think that you are going to solicit something if they see it out.

-The only rejection I had today was a model looking chick who was walking fast down the sidewalk. She just said "no" and walked faster. I couldn't help it because she was so modelish.

Believe it or not, I've considered something like this, but wondered whether the extra work would result in a measurable improvement (in actual dates) to just normal day-game approaches. This is encouraging, but runs the risk of being copycatted to death.

I was wearing some stylish summer clothes, white slim button down, kahkis, boat shoes, a hat I had made in Mexico, some jewelry and a nice watch. First thing that girls always say when they guess what I do is 'artist'.

Definitely noticed people within earshot looking and eavesdropping...two guys next to the redhead were dumbfounded. I saw them checking the chick out before I came over. When I left I smirked at them and they gave me nods of respect.

I like taking pictures of people (obviously pretty girls) and I need to practice shooting outdoors since im going to sell fashion items. I was seriously thinking about starting street fashion blog. But there are too many these days.

I don't think it gets copied because

1) Most guys don't carry a professional looking camera, they use their smartphone.

2) This day-game trick has been around for ages. One time I was with my friend "the photographer" at the beach and after talking to some girls, they would beg us to take their picture with our camera. Easy DHV, we kept making the rules and putting the right mindset for them to follow like "no duck faces or I'm finding better models" and kept teasing, having fun playing "the photographer" angle. These cats get laid, a lot.

3) Most guys don't know how to take it from there. Any dweeb can take a picture, but only a player can use this lay-up and get sexual and fun, fast.

This works great because:
- She's following your frame.
- You're telling her what to do and she follows.
- You can hook them and then turn the convo sexual
- Rapport is built easy

I like that idea. It would have been a lot more credible if I had an actual website to refer the girls to instead of just making things up.

I'm going to be traveling all summer: New Orleans, Oaxaca, Escondito, lots of places in between--and plan on doing the camera game in each place.

If anyone has a website they want me to refer the girls to...let me know.

You're probably right. Also, despite the fact that Goldmund is presenting at "shooting fish in a barrel," it's still quite difficult and requires a great deal of balls and finesse. You need pre-existing game skills, like the ability to ramble and a cool frame. If you approach chicks with timid or awkward body language and tone, you're dead in the water.

In other words, unlike an opener in the OKCupid thread--which can be copied by the thirstiest lurker with a couple of keystrokes--this requires work and expense. A decent dSLR camera (and glass), and the basic skills to know how to handle it without looking like a moron, only compounds the social skills required to navigate these approaches.

Great daygame framework, but it's not for beginners.
