RE: Two words - HOT YOGA
I'm going to revive this thread as I started going to hot yoga recently not with the initial intent of meeting girls, but with the honest to goodness intent of bettering my physical health.

But got damn there are some butts in my classes!

I agree with the sentiment that the classes are expensive, however there are studios that allow you to go unlimited times on a monthly basis for under $100, and that's the route I went with it. I've gone all in, generally going at least 3-4 times a week, but I would like to get to the point in which I'm going every single day.

My observations from the last couple weeks:

1. Tons of women, ratio is great, and there is plenty of talent. Not only this, but there is zero competition. All the guys are skinny fat, old, gay, or beta. I have caught so many eyes it's insane.

2. Yoga is probably one of the best things I've ever decided to do for my health. From weightlifting and bodybuilding for the past 7 years, and a nagging injury, I have trouble moving most days. Yoga is helping to alleviate this, and I don't see myself stopping. I take is as seriously as I take the gym.

3. When you tell girls that you go to hot yoga, you will get propositioned to take them. It's happened half a dozen times already. I will report back after my first date this week with this. I plan on taking her to a Yin class (little more laid back) and then going out for a tea or drink after. It's super easy, and I didn't even offer to take most of the girls, they just say "we should go". I was actually introduced by a plate to hot yoga, and I'm glad she brought me there, however, I want to branch out, so I don't want to go to the same classes as her all the time.

4. Health benefits are further reaching than just flexibility and mobility. There's evidence that heat shock proteins are a key to longevity, and due to the temperature being sauna like, you are getting a dose of these for an hour/90 minutes every time you step in a hot yoga class.

5. Mental benefits. A yoga class is essentially an extended meditation, and I have found that my thinking is clearer, I am more focused, my breathing is more calm and controlled, and small things don't bug me like they used to.

I plan on continuing with hot yoga for the foreseeable future. Even if there wasn't beaucoup girls, I would do it for bettering my physical and mental well-being.
