Spiking the drink sounds plausible, I mean how else would a good-looking professional athlete get a woman to have sex with him?

Quote:Former Sheffield United footballer Ched Evans has won an appeal against his conviction for rape and faces a retrial.

Evans, now 27, spent two-and-a-half years in jail after he was convicted in 2012 of raping a 19-year-old in a hotel in north Wales.

But three appeal judges on Thursday quashed the conviction after fresh evidence emerged. Details can not be reported for legal reasons.

Ahead of the ruling the prosecution had said it would seek an immediate retrial if Evans won his appeal.

Wonder what the new evidence is?

RE: The Case of Ched Evans
This case was weak as piss from the very start.

IF, and IF, he wins the retrial, then a mega million law case should be on the horizon.

The lad's life and career were ruined on back of this and he's missed out on hundreds of thousands of pounds because of this accusation. If found not guilty, he'll have a right claim.

This isn't like the Adam Johnson case when the offender clearly knew what he was doing and admitted to doing so, with whatsapp proof being available, not that the UK feminist community will care even if he's proved not guilty in re-trial. Don't think any club would want to go through with the shitstorm it'd follow if they went and signed him. He was merely training with a club after his release from prison, and the disastrous PR that club suffered for offering him to train to get in shape was mad.

He'd better off restarting his career in RPL or Ekstraklasa.

For those unaware, I seem to remember this guy was in the form of his life around the time of the incident. He'd scored loads of goals in the English 3rd division with one of the most famous clubs, and his career was looking upwards.

I really hope he can sign back up for a pro team quickly. He could still have another 8 years in him (he's 27). It would be intestine actually to see how taking a long break during his career affects him towards the end of his career.

Lastly, I want to see that smug cunt Jessica Ennis apologise if he is successful in court.

If you want to know what UK sluts do to get on a footballers dick, go to the top end clubs and bars in any city and look at who lines up and who gets on the VIP guest list.

Hint: It aint men and normal women don't line up. These tarts are platinum grade pussy users who know they can get away with it and get money out of it. "Oh I am totally on the pill!" "Don't you have a girlfriend?"

The wives and girlfriends of these guys know what goes on, its why they spit out as many kids as possible and get hitched. Once that marriage certificate is signed and the children are proven to be his and he looks after them you have all the power over him.

An average footballer can earn 10k GBP a week. The top stars earn 200-300k+ a week and this doesn't include endorsements, free shit and other celebrity lifestyle. It is a dream and all they have to do is open their legs to a guy who is at least attractive to them.

The Chesterfield striker has already served half of a five-year prison sentence he was given after he was originally convicted of the crime in 2012.

But the former Welsh international continued to proclaim his innocence and a retrial was ordered after his initial conviction was overturned.

RE: The Case of Ched Evans
https://www.theguardian.com/football/201...in-retrial

Quote:The international footballer Ched Evans has been found not guilty at his retrial of raping a 19-year-old waitress in a hotel room after a drunken night out with former club-mates.

Evans spent two and a half years in prison for rape but his original conviction was quashed by the appeal court following a high-profile and well-funded campaign by family and friends that included the offer of a £50,000 reward for information leading to his acquittal.

The appeal was allowed after judges gave the go-ahead for two former sexual partners of the alleged victim to give explicit evidence in court about her sex life, a rare move that is being widely condemned by women’s support groups and campaigners.

One group, Women Against Rape (WAR), told the Guardian the decision “drove a coach and horses” through legislation designed to protect victims and could stop other abused women coming forward for fear they would be quizzed about their sex lives.

It can now be revealed that:

During the appeal case that led to the retrial, lawyers for the crown suggested the two new witnesses may have been “fed” information by those close to Evans. This claim was rejected by Evans’s side.

Evans’s fiancee, Natasha Massey, was accused in legal argument during the second trial of offering an “inducement” to a key witness. The prosecution said this had “the flavour of a bribe”. The trial judge disagreed with this description.

The appeal court judges, whose decision can be reported for the first time, expressed “a considerable degree of hesitation” before allowing in the new evidence of the former partners because it resulted in the victim’s sexual behaviour being subject to forensic scrutiny – which is almost always banned.

The complainant continues to be named and abused on social media though the law gives her lifelong anonymity. The police are investigating one blog that identified her during the trial.

The woman told the jury she woke up naked in a hotel room in Rhyl, north Wales, in May 2011 with no memory of what had happened but fearing she had been attacked after her drinks were spiked.

Evans, who has played for Manchester City, Sheffield United and Wales, insisted he and his friend and fellow footballer Clayton McDonald had consensual sex with the woman.

He told the jury McDonald was having sex with her when he walked into the hotel room. He claimed the pair looked at him and McDonald asked the woman: “Can my mate join in?” Evans said the woman replied: “Yes.”

The prosecution said she could not possibly have consented to sex as she was too intoxicated.

In court, Evans admitted he lied to get the key for the hotel room and did not speak to her before, during or after sex. He left via a fire exit. It also emerged that Evans’ younger brother and another man were trying to film what was happening from outside the room.

Friends of the woman encouraged her to go to the police to report how she had woken up with no memory of what happened to her, believing her drinks had been spiked. She went to a police station and officers found out that the room she woke up had been booked and paid for by Evans. He was questioned by police and admitted he had sex with her - but claimed it was consensual.

When he was interviewed by police Evans boasted that he and McDonald could have had any woman they wanted in the club that night. “Footballers are rich and they have money,” he said. “That is what girls like.”

Lisa Longstaff, of WAR, said the case seemed a “throwback to another time”. She said: “The whole way the case has been handled trivialises rape and puts women off reporting. They know that if they come forward they are going to be trashed.”

Section 41 of the Youth and Criminal Evidence Act 1999 puts stringent restrictions on what evidence can be put before a court by the defence about an alleged victim’s sexual behaviour and questioning of the complainant.

“But it has all these exceptions, and clever lawyers can get round it,” said Longstaff. “Here they’ve driven a coach and horses through the supposed protection. It’s a classic defence tactic. They bring in previous partners to trash her character.”

She added: “This trial has been a throwback to bad times when women were the ones on trial and had no say in a sexual encounter.”

A feminist activist who goes by the pseudonym Jean Hatchet and was behind petitions asking football clubs not to sign Evans following his jail term, told the Guardian it was “deeply worrying” that evidence about a victim’s sexual history had been permitted.

She said: “This has no bearing on whether a woman was consenting to a totally different sexual experience at all.

“More worryingly, this will set precedent in rape cases to follow where defence barristers will comb through an alleged victim’s sexual past and following the alleged assault at a time when they are suffering trauma. Women who have been raped have sex before they are raped and they have sex afterwards.

“Many victims and survivors of rape have followed this case from the original arrest and many more in the intervening years. They have been hanging on every word.”

I'm glad that tactic worked out, in a fashion.

You can imagine how totally it must flip the collective feminist lid when a girl's "past" is used against her in that way. "Yes, yes, I know I'm a huge slut, and I had a gangbang very similar in all respects to this weeks gangbang last Thursday. But this time it was rape, okay? Believe what I say, and don't judge. The past is the past."

It infuriates them that a guy like this footballer is taking advantage of the modern sexual marketplace (that they helped create, mind you) but using it to his benefit, not theirs. This is the guy that should be committing to them and raising their children because they're "worth it" after they're done with the broke-ass players, not being a player himself! Fuck! Damn it!

Quote:"They bring in previous partners to trash her character."

Oh, no fooling? If she had been a saint then it would probably have been a tall order to find anyone willing to testify to the contrary. Clearly, it wasn't very difficult to show otherwise.

Character witnesses are used all the time in law, why should a rape trial be any different? If a woman is a perpetual liar and manipulator, why should we believe her claim of rape any more than any other absurd allegation she cares to make?

Trashy is, is trashy does. Sadly, it is hypothetically possible that a woman who was legitimately raped could have her case dismissed because she's a habitual slut and fibber, while the guy who did it is considered to be a pillar of the community. Unfortunately, that's the breaks. The notion that one can just live any lifestyle they want and always be able to dodge unfortunate consequences and get perfect justice is not a realistic one.

RE: The Case of Ched Evans
I'm glad he got off but he will need to watch his back for the rest of his life. Can the law dictate what is consent and what isn't when 1 man is already having sex with her and another requests to join in?

From what I have witnessed it seems the courts are unwilling or unable to appreciate womens vulgarity alongside the men.

This woman must be a well known cock rider and her witness testimony and evidence did not hold up well in court and was probably taken apart on many key pieces of evidence. She did the classic "I was too drunk to consent" excuse which feminists demand the court accept.

She wanted famous athletes to fuck her, its hypergamy 101. Here's hoping he sues the feminists and their enablers for his lost millions.

This sounds kind of like the case of NBA player Derrick Rose (except Rose is being sued by the woman in a civil case, so he won't go to jail). She claimed Rose and his two friends gang raped her, even though she had texted Rose hours before (at 2 AM) saying "come over right now" and the other two men had a sexual history with the woman as well.

All these women who accuse these famous athletes of rape are always looking for a big payday, and their stories always smell strongly of bullshit.

The Derrick Rose case is worse in my opinion because it is so blatantly obvious what she is doing. She sued Rose in civil court because she knew a criminal case would fail( and she would have to commit perjury-a felony) , she thought she would remain anonymous but civil court does not afford you those protections (anonymity for sexual assault "victims") unless there was a criminal proceeding. As soon as her name was to be made public she, wait for it, made a police report. Then she tries to withhold text messages that paint her in a poor light, it is just a disgusting abuse of our judicial system.

Did not mean to derail the thread, but I had to get that out.

If you search 'Ched Evans' on twitter, you will see that quite a few current and ex pros are tweeting or retweeting support messages for Evans, or about how the accuser should now face a criminal process.

Makes you realise how much of a target these guys are for chicks like the one in the Evan's case, they must have pussy flung at them but they have no idea if the girl is a nutcase or safe.

RE: The Case of Ched Evans
Even having been acquitted, he is still largely seen as guilty in the court of public opinion. I went to see my family for supper this evening, and was sat watching the BBC news with them. The BBC were still reporting that he was 'accused of raping a teenage girl' - the implication being obvious, that this crime was all the more heinous because of her sweet naivety. Needless to say, she was 19 at the time, and a veteran gang banger - this being the key evidence that helped get him acquitted.

What is touching about the whole story, and something that doesn't seem to be getting a lot of attention anywhere, unsurprisingly, is how fucking loyal his girlfriend (and her family) has been throughout the whole thing. This is a stand up chick, and noone should doubt that some girls, a precious few, can make for extraordinarily loyal and steadfast companions. They're vanishingly few, but she is one. Especially as he was only a second rate footballer - hardly pulling in the big bucks, and her father was already rich. The story of Evans and his girlfriend is really very touching, and I hope they go on to lead as happy and unaffected-a-life as possible in the circumstances. Those who so loudly condemned him in the court of public opinion should be made to pay for destroying a young life so cruelly.

RE: The Case of Ched Evans
I listen to a lot of podcasts about football and now that his conviction has been overturned there is a massive amount of hamstering going on about how he still wouldn't be wanted by clubs because of his general conduct whether or not he raped this girl.

The most interesting thing about the whole court case is that the court used the exceptional circumstances rules, of which there are only 4, this one being the past conduct of said slut.

Predictably feminists and white knights are up in arms about it because it exposes the real nature of girls like this.

As far as Evans himself goes, he's a fuckwit for putting himself in that situation in the first place but we've all done stupid shit drunk. I just hope someone goes after the girl for the false accusion and he gets paid out for the loss of what could have been a really lucrative career.

Some balanced coverage here:

http://annaraccoon.com/2016/10/15/on-yer-ched-evans/

Quote:It isn’t the fault of North Wales police that these three young people had their lives ruined and reputations trashed. They merely presented the inconclusive evidence they had to the Crown Prosecution Service.

We have a Crown Prosecution Service headed by a woman who has an unhealthy, bordering on obsessive, interest in prosecuting those with either fame or fortune in respect of their sexual behaviour. The CPS have proved before now that even if Ms ‘X’ had refused to take any part in the prosecution, they could and would proceed with it.

The moment the CPS knew that a famous footballer was involved – the fate of all three parties, Clayton, Ched and Ms ‘X’ was sealed. Now they are hostages to endless social media arguments and petitions.

Victory for Evans but probably makes it harder for other guys to be found innocent as the past behaviour of the slut concerned will, in my opinion, be even less likely to be taken in to account now, in future cases.

The last I heard is that 40 female Labour MP's backed by a law firm wrote a letter to the attorney general asking him to re-consider the law. I haven't heard any developments since.
