Modern America needs men like Einsenhower and the problem is there are no men left in the whitehouse. American society does not really produce people like this anymore. He was a military leader and obviously a realist. He saw the threat this poses for national security then reacted accordingly.

These days it's all about maneuvering and pandering for a bigger slice of the pie. In otherwords..Fuck you, got mine.

I thought this was a good video on the topic, because immigration is one of the most highly restricted areas of debate right now, and this presentation manages to leave no room for attack from the usual suspects. It's also the kind of video likely to sway undecided parties.

It needs to be said that the previous rules were grossly unfair in many ways.

For example, under the previous rules, while a child born on US soil to illegal aliens was a US citizen, the government could, by deporting the family, deny to a US citizen dependent the right to live in his own country and thereby prevent a minor from enjoying the rights and protections which should be guaranteed to him as a US citizen. Which is completely outrageous. IMO, it is high time they put a stop to that discriminatory practice.

speakeasy Wrote:I just hope you'd have said the same thing about Reagan who also granted amnesty to millions of illegals in the 80s.

Absolutely not. The major difference is that Reagan acted with Congressional approval, while Obama is circumventing Congress and making a mockery of the law.

My objection is not just to the amnesty itself, but to the way Obama is going about it. If your entire representative government is signing off on an amnesty program that gets passed legally, does that make them traitors? No - it just makes them terrible representatives who have failed their constituents. However, if you have a single executive figure - the President - pushing through an illegal amnesty program outside of Congress, not only is he in egregious violation of the law, he is violating the law expressly to favor the interests of foreigners over those of American citizens.

Is traitor a harsh term? Certainly. But what else can you call a President who is actively and illegally facilitating the foreign invasion of the country he has been entrusted to protect? This man has completely sold us out. He is not working in the best interests of the American people. He is a traitor. There's simply no other way to spin it. God knows there is a long laundry list of Presidential actions and blunders that could also arguably be termed traitorous by that definition, but herein lies the difference: in this situation, it's clearly inarguable. There is simply no way to defend what Obama is doing as being in any way, shape or form in the best interests of the citizens of the United States. It's pure destruction.

Dios mio! The irony that I am currently learning Spanish to have a greater ability to move abroad!

The 500k tech workers pisses me off as an American tech worker. I told all my co-workers a year ago + when this got started. They were only semi-interested even though it can destroy their wages.

Lazy dumb Americans get what they deserve.

It is already happening, but all the smart people that want good wages will be in the Bay Area, NYC, Chicago and will gentrify to the point they are like nobility communities. Everyone else will be having a $12 minimum wage part time job in 2020.

We can't be the developing world's ladder.

Also I have Mexican friends. 3 extremely close ones. One's family does well and the father is a super alpha. The other the dad is a beta and they are whitewash ghetto.

In any case Mexicans don't want to assimilate by and large. They live here like it's Mexico.

In past times Europeans WANTED to do everything to assimilate.

My Polish grandparents FORBADE my parents from learning Polish so they were as American as possible. One of my great uncles cut down our Polish family name to a 3 letter English sounding name to do better in business.

Have Mexicans try that on for size! Lulz.

Two of my friends are Eduardo and Jose. Not a good start.

You think my Polish side has Polish first names? No fucking way.

Let's compare this to my Asian friends.... Michael, Paul, Justin, Steve... hmmm is there a difference?

1) Yes.

2) Minimum wage would increase drastically.

Have you seen the U.S. balance sheet and how real wages have been decreasing? This is pushing as hard you can in that same direction.

Americanized ethnic identity is so much worse. The main reason is that minorities grow up with a sense of persecution, insecurity, and play race politics. Everyone ends up with a chip on their shoulder.

Mexicans don't even like most Mexican-Americans.

We can't be the developing world's ladder.

Look what happened when they tried to pass prop 187 in California. It was overturned by judges. Look what happened with Arizona tried to pass SB-70, overturned. Look at all these cities that stop police from even being allowed to ask about someone's citizenship. Nobody is going to throw them out, even if you want to. And let's say citizens got fed up and decided that the government isn't on our side and we should take matters into our own hands. Now what? Do we have pograms where we storm into Hispanic neighborhoods and demand that everyone show ID and those that don't get a citizens arrest and deposited at the Mexican border? What about those from El Salvador? Who is going to fly them back down there? How do we go about enforcing it if the government at every level refuses to?

I fucking hate the fact that illegal immigration was allowed to happen at the levels it has. But also I realize that now that they're here, they aren't going anywhere. People will still hire them under the table as gardeners and babysitters, teachers(who are mostly liberal Democrats) will refuse to expel them from class. What are we supposed to do exactly?

If enough Mexicans come maybe Americans might finally learn something about how to keeping their intransigent, cunty women in check. Because those dudes don't fuck around with bitches who can't cook, attention-whore with hand-written signs on Twitter, or come at them with "snarky" mouths, feminist bullshit, or "open relationships." Last time I heard, there was no hint of a "campus rape crisis" and "affirmative consent" in Mexico. That noise would disappear right quick.

If that's the case, I'm all for it. I'd like to see these bitches kicked back into submission with one of those Norteño boots.

One of my Mexican friends sent me this shit, with a translation, a while back:

Quote:Long Live the Wetbacks
By Los Tigres del Norte (the Tigers of the North)

Because we are the wetbacks
the law is always looking for us
because we are illegal
and we don't speak English
the stubborn gringo throws us out
and we come back

If they throw one out through Laredo,
ten come in through Mexicali
If they throw one out through Tijuana
Six come in through Nogales

Just go ahead and take account
of how many of us enter every month

Our problem is easy to fix
Just give us a white girl
,
so we can get married
and as soon as we get that card
go ahead and get divorced

When the wetback
goes on strike to never return
who will pick the onion,
lettuce or beets?
The lemon and the grapefruit
will all go bad.

All these nightclubs,
will all get closed
Because if the wetback leaves
who will come to dance
?
And besides four white guys
no one will be able to console them

Long live all of the wetbacks
the ones about to emigrate
the ones that go on vacation
and the ones that are just passing through
and the ones who are going to marry
to make arrangements.

How can it possibly be in the best interests of citizens of the United States to allow fellow citizens to be deported?

U.S. birthright citizenship was never intended to be abused the way it is now, with millions of illegal aliens flooding across the border and having "American" children. Birthright citizenship as outlined in the Fourteenth Amendment was granted during Reconstruction in order to ensure that free blacks born to liberated former slaves would be legally considered American citizens. The problem of illegal mass immigration did not exist at the time and could not have been foreseen.

There is absolutely no reason that people who are in the country illegally (technically invaders or, as Israel calls them, infiltrators) should have their children automatically granted citizenship. Legal immigrants, yes, absolutely. Illegal immigrants? No. You shouldn't be here. You broke the law. You and your children therefore do not enjoy the same legal protections that citizens do. The difference is vast. It would be like a person who stole something from a store coming back and trying to return it, versus someone who actually paid for the item.

Birthright citizenship must be ended. The Fourteenth Amendment must be repealed. Hell, if it was up to me I would pass a retroactive grandfather law. If you can't provide proof that your grandparents were born in the United States or that your parents or grandparents immigrated here legally, you're no longer a citizen and face deportation. Unfortunately that will never happen, both for political and practical reasons, as even if a law like that got passed it would turn into a bloodbath and possibly spark off a civil war. However, I'm afraid that ethnic conflicts and possibly civil war are going to happen if the situation continues on as it is without drastic countermeasures. So even as draconian a measure as a grandfather law would probably be the lesser of two evils. We are in deep trouble.

I am very concerned about violence between black Americans and possibly millions of new Mexican Americans.

There were reports of those illegal alien kids who came up here a few months back getting picked on and beat up in school by black kids. Terrible story that no one wants to talk about.

The term birthright citizenship refers to citizenship acquired at birth, full stop. If you were born a U.S. citizen you have birthright citizenship - regardless of whether that citizenship is based on birthplace or parentage - as opposed to someone who acquired citizenship via naturalization.

Ending birthright citizenship would mean children born to U.S. parents would no longer be citizens.

What about those from El Salvador? Who is going to fly them back down there? How do we go about enforcing it if the government at every level refuses to?

I will tell you exactly what is going to happen: at some point down the line, there is going to be widespread ethnic conflict. This could be a civil war resulting in the creation of ethnostates, or more of an ethnic cleansing where one ethnic group is eliminated. Is this me being a fearmonger, a racist or an alarmist? No. This is me being a student of history.

So no, there will not be uniformed militias of white men marching into Mexican neighborhoods demanding to see their papers. That would be humane compared to what is more likely to happen if history is our guide, which is a combination of black street gangs and white militia groups massacring anyone who looks Mexican, including women and children.

This is why the rule of law must be respected. When you throw law out the window, you're just inviting man's savage nature to return. Once the breaking point has been reached and the law is no longer a constraining force, the gloves will come off, as they always do, and everyone is going to be worse off for it. The vanquished will be dead, and the victors will have turned themselves into monsters.

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” - Romans 8:18

I lived in Long Beach until up to the mid 90's before we moved to a more civilized city.

If you want a good idea of what will happen when you have an underclass "multicultural" city...
