There were reports of those illegal alien kids who came up here a few months back getting picked on and beat up in school by black kids. Terrible story that no one wants to talk about.

From what I saw and experienced growing up in Los Angeles, the reverse is more likely.

Didn't read the rest but why the fuck not? There can't be a legitimate reason.

We can't be the developing world's ladder.

Also I have Mexican friends. 3 extremely close ones. One's family does well and the father is a super alpha. The other the dad is a beta and they are whitewash ghetto.

In any case Mexicans don't want to assimilate by and large. They live here like it's Mexico.

In past times Europeans WANTED to do everything to assimilate.

My Polish grandparents FORBADE my parents from learning Polish so they were as American as possible. One of my great uncles cut down our Polish family name to a 3 letter English sounding name to do better in business.

Have Mexicans try that on for size! Lulz.

Two of my friends are Eduardo and Jose. Not a good start.

You think my Polish side has Polish first names? No fucking way.

Let's compare this to my Asian friends.... Michael, Paul, Justin, Steve... hmmm is there a difference?

Assimilation takes many decades to achieve. Think 50 or 60 years if not more. Also remember that the biggest wave of the new-new immigrants (Hispanics) happened during the 80s and 90s (largest peak was in 96). So we're only talking about maybe 20 years or so of folks trying to assimilate. The majority of the Hispanic population is made out of first-generation Mexican-Americans with the average age of 27 or in their 20s who are the sons and daughters of the new-new immigrants from the 80s and 90s which makes it the youngest ethnic group of people in the United States.

So right now the assimilation of Mexican Americans is still in its first stage as many Linguistics call it. Full assimilation happens in the 3rd generation where the great grand-kids of the original immigrants will only be able to speak English. America will always be an English first country, no matter how many people try to spin it. Its still the language in schools, work, politics, media, and everything else. Its nearly impossible to get ahead in life in America without knowing English.

There are Mexicans in fact right now who do not teach their kids Spanish because they don't want their kids to have it hard in America and face discrimination, but at the same time there are those parents who want to preserve their culture and teach them Spanish as well. That is what happens in the first stage of assimilation. Also it will take far more time for Mexican-Americans to assimilate than those of other countries because Mexico is right next door. Cultural influence is strong especially in the SouthWest, in Southern Cal, etc...

The assimilation process for Mexican-Americans or any American really goes something like this:

--Immigrant: Native Spanish/Weak English
--First Generation: Good Spanish/Native English (We get Spanglish)
--Second Generation: Weak Spanish/Native English
--Third Generation: Little to no Spanish/Native English

^^^^^ Its a process that will be impossible to see right now.

In the 1880s and 1890s, there was a wave of Irish immigrants. Fast forward to 1960 and John F. Kennedy was the first Irish American president of the United States and first Catholic as well.

It takes time.

Don't insult me. I know exactly what I'm saying, and I couldn't possibly have been more clear. I would deport them to their grandparents' country of origin. This would apply, as I said, to anyone who could not provide proof that either their grandparents were born in the United States or that their parents or grandparents immigrated here legally. I would not be deporting U.S. citizens because under this law such persons would no longer be considered U.S. citizens, they would be illegal immigrants or the children of illegal immigrants.

Is that harsh? Yeah. Is it as harsh as a civil war and/or an ethnic cleansing? Nope.

The timing of this is impeccable. One full month before a Republican Congress takes over. One full month of lawlessness and then a trial in the Senate. There would need to be 2/3rds majority for a conviction, however. I'm not sure the Republicans can gather enough votes for that.

RE: Obama will push push Executive Order Action on Immigration, thoughts?
The most basic measure of a government's effectiveness is the ability to maintain the rule of law, without selectiveness or discrimination. A government that can't enforce its laws, or only enforces them selectively, is a failed state. See: Somalia, or to a lesser extent, kleptocracies like Thailand or the Philippines where bribery and intimidation are an accepted way of doing business.

By ramming this executive order down everyone's throat, Obama has shown that the USA is a failed state.

Earlier today, I was listening to the radio when I heard about a new bill signed into law by New York's Il Duce Andrew Cuomo. The law establishes new regulations for childcare and daycare operators by banning them from serving soda or sugary drinks to kids and making them do a certain amount of exercise per day. The law also bans anyone who legally owns guns from operating a daycare, even if the guns are locked up per pre-existing state regulations.

I was talking about this with a friend and we both asked the same question: how is the state going to enforce this? Either they'll hire a bunch of commissars to do snap inspections of daycares (which is yet another overreach of government power) or they won't enforce it (in which case the law might as well not exist).

The United States has the NSA running a spy operation on every single American hooked up to the Internet, reading your emails and jerking off to your girlfriend's nude selfies. If you forget to carry a digit on your taxes, they have the power to ram IRS audits up your ass. If you forget to return a library book on time, they have the power to seize your driver's license. If they decide you're a "terrorist," they have the power to assassinate you with a drone, without any due process, even if you're on the other side of the world. They have the power to seize your guns because it's for the CHILLLDDDRRREEENNN!!!!1

But they can't deport a few million illegal aliens (and retroactively strip their anchor baby children of citizenship) because, um, they just can't!

It's over. If it wasn't obvious that the United States is a hopelessly corrupt, impotent banana republic, Obama and the amnesty supporters just drove it home. There is no rule of law in this country any more. There are two classes of people: those who have to follow the government's edicts (read: you and me), and those who are exempt (the ultra-wealthy and the Latino underclass). All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.

We don't even have the benefits of living in a structurally corrupt country like the Philippines or Thailand: namely good weather, low cost of living and attractive, agreeable girls.

You want to support amnesty? Fine. You want to claim we have "no choice" but to reward lawbreakers? Fine. But don't act like the rest of the world isn't watching us and laughing right now. America is cooked as a world power. A nation that can't enforce the rule of law is a nation that is doomed.

The Chinese in particular are watching us and laughing. Look for the U.S. to become a fully-owned subsidiary of the People's Republic in the next decade. Flipping burgers for $3 an hour (thanks to all those illegal aliens dragging down wages and helping employers circumvent minimum wage laws) is the future for most Americans. They won't even be able to pull rickshaws for their Chinese masters because most of them are too fucking fat.

God bless America! Land of the cowardly, home of the slave!

Yeah my first reaction to this is, I hope the future generation of players likes em hefty:

I've been going to El Pollo Loco lately for my post workout protein fix, and this particular location (South La Cienega) is popular with Mexicans. Every time I go in there I get a good cross section of Mexican culture and life; there's the 23 year old moms with 4 kids and a huge ass and gang tattoos, speaking in their unique dialect of Spanglish, "Que me dijiste? Don't be stupiiiiid gue" and letting their kids raise hell in the joint. No father in sight, presumably working, in jail, or getting drunk on a curb somewhere (go to MacArthur park on any day during the week and you see this everywhere...Mexican and Central American dudes sitting on curbs in between cars putting down a case of Tecate) And once they hit 28 or so they're about as wide as they are tall.

I don't understand how they can get THAT fat...okay rice, beans, corn, and pork isn't the best thing for you, but calories in, calories out. They must genuinely not have a cultural value against getting fat.

As far as this order goes...I've always been a big proponent of immigrant labor, but under a MANAGED policy. Giving the green light to 5,000,000 illegal immigrants is blatant cultural suicide.

This is going to make housing in L.A. even more jacked. There will be zero affordable housing and to live in a decent neighborhood will be even more exorbitant.

It's all about numbers in the Los Angeles area. If your neighborhood has numbers then you are dominant. The indicator that a neighborhood is going bad is that the gang warfare gets more ruthless until the smaller ethnic group is eventually pushed out. It's primitive tribalism. This story has repeated itself endlessly in several underclass cities and neighborhoods in LA county over the past few decades.

The reason why asians can survive in various enclaves not too far from bad cities is mainly through pricing out poorer minorities. Class is a protective barrier. Real estate cost is very high in asian enclaves and the communities are tight and protected as a result.

Koreatown getting burned down once was a big lesson in how fast things can turn. A lot of Korean and other asian-americans moved farther eastward after that and built communities more inland (Walnut, Rowland Heights, Diamond Bar) or in orange county (Irvine.) to insulate themselves.

I'm just wondering if he'll be shameless enough to talk about growing income inequality, stagnant wages and un/underemployment in the same speech. We all know how sincerely concerned he is about those things.

Or maybe he'll surprise and say this whole fringe leftist thing was just an act and you can't be a citizen unless you entered the world via an American vagina, thereby ushering in an American renaissance.

My take on this. Repulican/democrat are two sides of the exact same coin, an elaborate smokescreen to keep the left and right arguing till the cows come home. After all, there isn't anything more satisfying to a Republican than proving a democrat wrong, and vice versa.

The beauty of pushing forth a Republican controlled congress/senate is that it creates a false sense of urgency for Obama to do some of the things he supposedly promised when running. Immigration reform being a big one. So, before these Republicans take over in January, he'll be throwing some wild pitches like this - only because of the false sense of urgency that "electing" the Republicans has invoked.

While that is the way it worked in the past, it doesn't necessarily have to shake out that way going forward. A possible outcome would be a general shift towards a fully bilingual English/Spanish culture- much like it works these days in the Nordics and other parts of Northern Europe.

It is simply a part of their culture that kids grow up bilingual in their mother language and in English. Since it's in the culture, it comes naturally and every day, I see Scandinavian kids as young as five years old speak perfectly good English. So if they can do it, there is no reason why Americans couldn't.

Ok I live a nice location in Santa Barbara. I pay a fair amount for rent. My neighbors are apartments filled with 3 generations of Mexicans. They let their kids run around nuts. You barely see a father around as Veloce mentioned. Sprinkle in an Indian family too. (Probably an H1B1 running down my wages).

We don't need more immigration. We don't need more people doing "undesirable jobs". We need higher wages and more benefits. We need it so that a professional man in his late 20s to early 30s could easily raise a family of two with wife that may or may not need a part-time job at some point.

I have had zero thought since being a teenager of starting a family young. Money reasons and the women suck.

This is only going to get worse on both fronts. Our quality of life is getting ass fucked in front of our eyes.

Import Mexico.

Deport Quality of Life.

I am investing in my T & T food truck company right now. Tacates & Tacos. Ajjjjjjjjjjjaaaa!!!

@Tuth

I don't know where you are.

I have 12 years experience in Southern California.

Mexican girls 18-25 I have seen that are a 7+? Maybe 5% if I am generous. Realistically more like 1% because of early pregnancies and obesity.

The hot ones are often cholas, with the heavy make up and tatts. Their dietary and exercise habits are atrocious.

In fact the only bonafide 7+ Mexican girl I have ever known is a stripper and wears tons of make up.

It will reduce, if not eliminate whatever affordable housing there already was.

I live in such a place. My apartment is really a miracle find at this point, and it is smack dab in the middle of a Mexican neighborhood. Every neighbor on all sides are Mexicans. I'm typing this listening to the nearby park filled with Mexican families and Mexican soccer games. On weekends and some random nights, it's mariachi and banda music blasting through the neighborhood.

This place was a find. There are still finds like this in Highland Park, Eagle Rock, etc, and the only people willing or wanting to rent them out are either hipsters, or Mexicans, or people like me that don't mind living in Mexican neighborhoods. More Mexicans=more demand.

I'm not talking about Mexicans coming in and snatching up more expensive properties, I'm talking about them coming in and snatching up what few remaining affordable properties there are.

An influx of any economic background is going to drive up prices across the board, and the effect will be hardcore classism. This already exists to some extent; you drive through Hancock park past all the million dollar mansions and all of a sudden you're in K-town with barbed wire fences and late night stabbings. I predict this will magnify...white neighborhoods will get more expensive and more uptight about parking permits, littering, and maintenance, while these neighborhoods go to shit. Sorry to say, these people don't take very good care of their properties. Take a drive through my neighborhood and the majority of places have shit piled up in the front yards, kids toys, appliance parts, car parts, etc. Look up the properties on Zillow and they're going for a half mil.

One of my Mexican friends sent me this shit, with a translation, a while back:

Quote:Long Live the Wetbacks
By Los Tigres del Norte (the Tigers of the North)

Because we are the wetbacks
the law is always looking for us
because we are illegal
and we don't speak English
the stubborn gringo throws us out
and we come back

If they throw one out through Laredo,
ten come in through Mexicali
If they throw one out through Tijuana
Six come in through Nogales

Just go ahead and take account
of how many of us enter every month

Our problem is easy to fix
Just give us a white girl
,
so we can get married
and as soon as we get that card
go ahead and get divorced

When the wetback
goes on strike to never return
who will pick the onion,
lettuce or beets?
The lemon and the grapefruit
will all go bad.

All these nightclubs,
will all get closed
Because if the wetback leaves
who will come to dance
?
And besides four white guys
no one will be able to console them

Long live all of the wetbacks
the ones about to emigrate
the ones that go on vacation
and the ones that are just passing through
and the ones who are going to marry
to make arrangements.

Laugh2

Haha, this is the funniest post i've seeing in a while. I just can't stop laughing. Funny thing is that I actually have an uncle who married a white girl and then got divorced just for the green card.

That was hilarious.

I have been working with Latin Americans in the U.S. for years. It is not a pretty picture. Obesity poor education levels, illegitimacy, the USA brings out the worst in people.

I say this with no hate, I am dating a Latina. She is not like this of course but the population at large is. She hates most of them, has no idea why Mexican-Americans, Dominican-Americans act so terribly.

Quote:Jerry Seinfeld: I am for open immigration, but that sign we have on the front of the Statue of Liberty, "Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses..." can't we just say, "Hey, the door's open, we'll take whoever you got"? Do we have to specify the wretched refuse? I mean, why don't we just say, "Give us the unhappy, the sad, the slow, the ugly, people that can't drive, that they have trouble merging, if they can't stay in their lane, if they don't signal, they can't parallel park, if they're sneezing, if they're stuffed up, if they're clogged, if they have bad penmanship, don't return calls, if they have dandruff, food between their teeth, if they have bad credit, if they have no credit, missed a spot shaving, in other words any dysfunctional defective slob that you can somehow cattle prod onto a wagon, send them over, we want 'em."

Take care of those titties for me.

Yeah, no one would be complaining if Obama was getting ready to amnesty 5 million hot bitches--at least no one on this forum.

Veloce, what do you mean?

Mexicans in Los Angeles have poorer educational attainment, more obesity, more violence, etc. than whites or Asians. They are doing slightly better than blacks.

This exact pattern is what you see wherever you look.
