Any truth to the whole really smart dudes struggle with girls, meat heads are naturals gimmick? I have seen examples of it in real life.

Know a dude who has never heard of Mystery who runs day game in trains and is a natural. Dumb as a brick. We were watching a show and the character got a kidney implant. Dude says, 'Now she can have kids again.'

Also know a guy in IT, cant get laid to save his life.

Don't debate me.

What you're describing is just a couple of anecdotes, however I know enough smart math/science/tech type guys to confirm that it's absolutely true, more than you probably realize.

RE: Kaley Cuoco (big bang theory) says she's not a feminist
She needs to be supported for this. Yes, she cut her hair short. For an acting role. She recently got a tit job and looks like she's slimming down as well. She may be the sort of careerist chick we wouldn't want to associate with...

But she's being attacked by feminists for this statement. It's important that she also receives an outpouring of support to counter these attempts to shout down her dissent from the status quo. We all know that chicks high on the totem pole have no need for feminism, and when it becomes "okay" or even beneficial to come out as a non-feminist, we'll see a lot more actresses and hotties doing it. And when that happens, the masses of women will follow, and the whole tower of bullshit will come crumbling down. It's no secret that American women worship celebrities, and follow their fashion/lifestyle trends. I think we'd all like them to follow this one.

So is Barney Stinson from HIMYM. This doesn't stop either of them from being excellent characters.

Every gay guy I've known has been a natural with women because their lack of interest results in 100% confidence when interacting with them. The fag hag stereotype is that the girl loves the gay guy because he shares similar interests like shopping and crying, but the reality I suspect it's more along the lines of the hag being able to suck around the fag she's attracted to while rationalizing the lack of reciprocal interest. Remember how badly women deal with rejection when they can't spin it in their head, and "he pounds butt" is a great ego protector.

Andddd the apology....

"I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. I apologize if anyone was offended. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant."

Fuckthat2

At least it reeks of being a half-apology, which is nice in this case.

RE: Kaley Cuoco (big bang theory) says she's not a feminist
Beautiful women have no need for feminism. Regardless of the lack of female representation (compared to men) in positions of authority, women have always had a substantial amount of power in society. Women use coercion and persuasion over men as a means to get things done. This is the anatomy of female power. Women have always avoided positions of authority because with being in a position of authority comes responsibility and accountability. Women have a strong aversion to responsibility and accountability. You see this in even the most mundane social interactions like, "where should we go for dinner?" A woman will have greater respect for a man who makes a bad decision but is decisive than they will towards a man who makes no decision at all.

The current brand of feminism is made up of greedy women seeking more power than they already have, the tomboys (women who secretly want to be men), and the female equivalents of the basement-dwelling WoWmega males. The selfish women just want more power than they already have. The tomboys want to be men. The omega females are the fat, ugly types who are unable to exert influence over men because they are fat and ugly (and usually their personalities are congruent with their appearances).

This idea that we live in a patriarchy is obviously preposterous. If we lived in a true patriarchy, do we honestly believe that women's suffrage would have happened? How did women's suffrage come to be if there were virtually no women in Congress or the White House to pass it into law? It is because they exercised indirect power over men. In a true patriarchy, the alpha males of society would have collectively pimp-slapped the suffragettes and told them to get back in the kitchen.

Beautiful and charming women are very dangerous creatures because they have the ability to exercise an immense amount of power by using men as proxies. These women have no need for feminism. They can extract all of the resources from men that they need and create environments to ensure their safety and security using their natural talents of coercion and persuasion. Ugly/fat women cannot. That is why feminism is full of the most broken women you can find. Rarely do you see a gorgeous feminist. However, they do exist. When you do see a gorgeous feminist, you can make the assumption that she is psychology broken and/or power hungry (wielding power indirectly is not enough; she wants the positions of authority as well as the current amount of power that she already has).

Katley Cuoco apologises for feminism comment

Facepalm

Quote:Cuoco-Sweeting later explained the remark on Instagram, saying that the comment was taken out of context and that she's "completely blessed and grateful" for strong women.

Ohh please. It's not HER apology. It's her publicist doing damage control.

And she's not really an actress. She's up there just being herself. That's not acting.
Let her do some roles to show all her different sides, personalities and characters and then let's call her an actress.

It's like when Eminem did 8 Mile. Everyone was like "Damn Eminem can act". Uhh not really. He played a while trash white rapper from Detroit who makes it big. It was the story of his life. He was just being himself. That's not acting.

Do I even need to bring up Charlie Sheen Huh He was just being himself on Two and a Half men.

Same with Cuoco. She's just being a cute bubbly ditzy blonde waitress. Because that's what she is.

Does she deserve a cool Mil per episode because she's a great actress? No. This isn't fucking Shakespeare Laugh She gets that paycheck because her image is part of the Big Bang Theory brand.

I haven't watched the Big Bang Theory but I did used to watch 8 Simple Rules as a kid. I remember seeing this scene when I was around 12, it was the hottest thing I'd ever seen and probably has something to do with my preference for blonde girls today.

She did not toe the line of political correctness so she was shamed into issuing a public apology.

Obviously. But does it matter? This is almost worse. A woman can't talk off the cuff about how she isn't part of a hate group (feminism) and doesn't care for them without criticism and a written apology prepared by her publicist. The image is the same. No-one cares if Cuoco really means it or not (I could personally give a rat's ass), it's that what she's saying that affects the public image of feminism. If a bunch of "hot" actresses shy away from feminism, it will DIE. Celebrities have a massive effect on the perceptions of average women.

She's a woman. It's no wonder she was pretty much bullied into an apology

On the other hand, nobody's femslapped Maisie Williams for her non-PC remarks yet, and she arguably has a reach greater than the eye candy on a show about nerds.

Maisie Williams is still a kid...
Maybe they'll give her a pass..

edit: Shit, she's 17??
Pretty soon, she won't be able to pass for a kid on the show...

First post, time to come across like a total twat.

Speaking from personal experience, I'd say yes.

I'm 25, I started a successful tech business 3 years ago that now employs 6 people and has major international clients. I went to an all-male school that is widely regarded as the most academic in my country, I read law at one of the top 5 ranked universities in the world. I speak 5 languages with a reasonable degree of fluency, I taught myself piano from scratch to conservatory standard. I'm 6'1, 190lbs with abs, a former boxer, and I've been approached by one or two well known international brands to do modelling campaigns for them.

To say I get laid infrequently would vastly oversell my prowess. The above, I'm sure, sounds incredibly boastful, but I say it only to illustrate that there are no guarantees. Everyone I know assumes I get laid like a rockstar. As recently as last week I was repeatedly accused of being a player. I've slept with 4 girls in my entire life (2 were models). Two of those were one night stands, one was a terrible relationship that made me redouble my efforts to only look to my self for fulfillment and peace, and the last was a model who was happy to date me exclusively for 18 months, without demanding exclusivity in return, although it eventually ended when she pushed for it to be a relationship.

The fundamental problem, I think, is that I'm terrible at having what you might term 'light fun'. I am not a big drinker, so struggle to cut lose or show a lighter side to me. I'm not without charm or wit, but I'm also not 'fun', from most girls around my age's perspective. I find parties fairly tedious, by-and-large, I struggle badly with small talk, I'm only really able to be interested in people who are willing from the outset to engage in more substantial personal discussion.

I think fundamentally, if you are introspective and academic by nature, it can be very hard to engage with people who are trying to have a good time, because your ideas of fun and their ideas of fun are totally divergent. A long list of achievements can look good on paper, and there is deep fulfillment in many hard won achievements, but happiness is more complicated than success, and cannot in my view be totally ascetic.

Anyway, That's already a fairly major digression from the main course of this symposium. I hope my post is taken in the spirit it was meant, and not as some thinly veiled brag. The TL:DR of it all is that being 'smart' can definitely complicate some areas of your life, particularly talking to girls, because most girls are dumb, and if you can't engage them on a level they can relate to (like being fun), then you may as well be an alien.

Feminism is just an ideology/belief system.

It's sad that someone has to apologise for not following the popular belief system.
