Jezebel in the Bible (Revelations 2:20)
First off I want to thank God for everything.

Anyways, I'm studying the Bible (greatest book ever written) namely Ezekiel and Revelations.

I came across this:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?se...on+2:20-23
Quote:Revelation 2:20-23New International Version (NIV)

20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.

Now I don't think the Bible was talking about some stupid website. But I wonder: is this where Jezebel came up with the name for the website? Jezebel is not a common name. And what kind of sick fuck would name their website on an evil Biblical figure?

Shes cool cause she led men astray, even though she was thrown out a window and fed to dogs.

100% sure that where they got the site name from.

You and I read that as a woman who was a false prophet leading herself and virtuous men astray from the Word but feminist see her a woman who was rebelling against the "patriarchy".

Just like Brokeback said feminists like her because she did her what she wanted to and rejected social norms. So why not name your site after her?

If I looked out my showroom window and saw a fully-nude woman force-fucking an alligator with a strap-on while snorting xanex on the roof of her rental car with her three children locked inside with the windows rolled up, I wouldn't be entirely amazed.

Well, God, given the ubiquity of low quality woman + enormously unfair laws towards men in marriage, I find casual sex with 'Jezebels' is the only practical option.
Guess Im going to hell?

I was originally a good catholic boy, but I got my hardest red pill truths from Christian girls bullshitting me.

SJWs and feminists are experts at missing the point. It's not hard to understand why they interpreted this parable as "female rebellion overcoming biblical patriarchy." They are mentally challenged in their worldview. They see things in shades of victimology or glorification. There's no nuance to any of their core beliefs. (This is also why so many are bipolar or have personality disorders, a common symptom is the inability to see beyond black/white) This is why it's bullshit, none of it coincides with reality or actual human behavior.

Jezebel as a moniker may have been done with an ironic sense but reality to them is not ironic. They think that even the most despicable female character is "badass" as long as she's doing dirt on men or the "system" as they see it.

RE: Jezebel in the Bible (Revelations 2:20)
There are two sorts of Jezebel. The actual woman who dominated her weak husband Ahab and used his office as king to rule Israel from behind the scenes. The closest modern parallel is Bill and Hillary.

Then there is spiritual Jezebel who Jesus infers plagues the church.

The basis of the Old and New Testaments is blood covenant. To the ancient mind, a blood covenant can only end through death. The role of the Jezebel is to destroy God's covenant with man, man's covenant with man and man's covenant with woman through marriage which used to be a solemn oath taken before the blood covenant consummation of the wedding night. When the Bible mentions adultery and playing the harlot, it is mostly about one party breaking covenant. The role of the female spirit Jezebel is to ensure that all oaths and blood covenant are broken.

It was ironic that Jezebel ended up dead with her blood being licked up by dogs because this is how she views blood covenant.
