Quote:State Dept. Says It Would Need 75 Years to Release Clinton Emails

Via The Hill:

The State Department said it would take 75 years for the release of emails from top aides to Hillary Clinton while she was serving as secretary of State.

Lawyers said it would take that long to compile the 450,000 pages of records from former Clinton aides Cheryl Mills, Jacob Sullivan and Patrick Kennedy, according to a court filing from last week, which was first reported by CNN.

"Given the Department's current [Freedom of Information Act] (FOIA) workload and the complexity of these documents, it can process about 500 pages a month, meaning it would take approximately 16-and-2/3 years to complete the review of the Mills documents, 33-and-1/3 years to finish the review of the Sullivan documents, and 25 years to wrap up the review of the Kennedy documents -- or 75 years in total," the State Department said in the filing.

This news will be hardest for the rose-colored glasses types out there who still think Her Madameship will get into legal trouble that derails her coronation nomination. Those of us who have been around to smell all of the Clinton stench on American politics know that they are exceedingly accomplished criminals who are difficult to indict. Think Al Capone.

It's pretty ironic that the State Department is now stuck on procedure after letting Mrs. Clinton throw the rules to the wind. You can bet your retirement money that if this were a Republican, State would be having a hiring frenzy that would make the New Deal look like a tepid approach to providing jobs.

The State and Justice departments have been working in tandem to stonewall any real progress on getting the truth out before Hillary becomes the most powerful woman in the world.

With friends like that, who needs accountability?
That article isn't entirely correct. This was a FOIA request from the RNC to the State Department that they're talking about. Yes, it pertains to her emails, but no, it has nothing to do with the FBI case. Government agencies have been playing these games for years.

These headlines are designed to get people stirred up and not much else. Yes, they want you to think that it will be 75 years before they can take it to trial, but that's not really the case.

RE: The Hillary Clinton thread
I'm more interested in the 75 years bullshit. Whether it goes to trial or not, the more exposure Hillary gets over this email stuff the worse it is for her.

It's just such a ridiculous lie. It's the sort of lie I would never tell because it's so absurd nobody with a functioning brain will believe it. Either they are incredibly stupid and don't realize how absurd the lie is, or they are incredibly arrogant, and either way it pisses me off.

Besides, even if we take their lie as fact, if the state department is so inefficient that it can't comply with a simple FOIA request in a timely manner, I have to ask what exactly are they doing that is worth their salaries?

The AP is a complete and utter joke.

They called the election 24 hours early to help Hillary in today's primaries. Easily the worst media outlet in the country, at least CNN doesn't even pretend to be impartial, the AP actually masquerades as a legitimate news organization when they are nothing more than a propaganda arm of the Clinton crime family.

As Mr. Trump would say - sad!

God, Hillary is a cunt. You can just tell she thinks she's owed the presidency. I hope Trump fucking mops the floor with her in November. Every time I see her smug face on TV, I feel like I'm going to have an outburst like Bill Hicks on a drunk female heckler:

The first part of his rant is EXACTLY what I wish someone would say to Hillary's face.

Let's hope so but I don't think there has been a presidential candidate since who has as much backing from the Establishment's 'international community'.

Hopefully the end of HC will herald the end of Baby Boomerocracy so that subsequent generations may at long last begin to rebuild the mess they have inherited.

Bill Burr has a pretty good joke on Hillary even before she ran for president.

RE: The Hillary Clinton thread
Clinton could not have made run a worse campaign. The way they "clinched" the nomination was such a clusterfuck, I really can't imagine a bigger way to alienate Sanders supporters (other than Clinton flashing them Sick).

The inevitable nominee angle they played from the beginning was completely tone deaf, considering the anti-establishment surge happening in America right now. The fact there were massive voting irregularities in almost every state, each time giving Clinton additional votes & delegates, only engrained the idea that she is a corrupt insider. Just yesterday thousands of Sanders voters were disanfranchised when they received provisional ballots instead of the real thing, for example. Oh yeah, and superdelegates.

Things only got worse for her campaign when she was forced to backtrack on the "inevitable nominee" thing when Sanders started surging, and she had to basically admit defeat and start spending money on primaries again. Remember, at one point she stopped spending money on ads against Sanders because she was certain it was her vs Trump and the Democratic primaries were merely a formality.

Then she de-facto stole the election by colluding with the AP to announce her as the nominee right before the most important primary contests are about to go down. Saying Sanders doesn't have the math to win is one thing; announcing Clinton as the winner based on an survey from a private news organization broke any semblence of journalistic neutrality or integrity.

It reeks of desperation, insider politics, and it's downright anti-democratic. All those college students voting for the first time for Sanders will be PISSED. They were told all their lives their votes matter, we live in a perfect utopian liberal democracy, etc. While most will vote for Clinton (or any democrat) even if she eats a turd in public, any number that were seriously thinking of switching before - ARE.

To top it all off, Trump has been saying the system is rigged against Sanders this whole time. Clinton played perfectly into his narrative.

More pragmatically, how can her campaign win against Trump when she barely squeeked through the Dem primary against an old socialist, even while using every dirty trick you could imagine?

I listened to Jay Weidner on Rense the other night. He reckons that HC can't win because her voice alienates her closest allies sooner or later and Trump's brashness will tear her apart. I had to turn off the car radio when I heard her voice as I was getting concerned of my safety and the other drivers' driving next to me.

Whatever one's view on Qaddafi is, her 'We came, we saw, he died' gloating over his lynching was disgusting. Karma awaits at the door.

That's a quality with more influence than most people think. I think it was Bill Burr who described her voice as "someone trying to learn the fucking trumpet." Laugh

I hope nothing happens to her during the general election. I don't want Trump to go against sanders, I want to see him burn her in debates, get her to blow her top.
And then when he becomes president, he strips her family of all the ill-gotten money, of all the secret service protection, and puts her in real prison, for treason.
If the fbi pulls some shit during the general, she will escape. Obama will smuggle her out. If Trump becomes president, he will put the screws to her.
Need her to stick around to receive due punishment.

edit; Can't have anything happen to her because Obama will get her out and pardoned. Need the shit to hit after Trump gets in that office.

This Monday will be so good, I can't wait. He's literally giving an information seminar on the Clintons, and you know Roger Stone has been quite close with Trump recently, so Trump won't be missing anything. He will be talking at a speed of approximately 1 headline per 30 seconds for who knows how long!

There's some discussion that Hillary will pick Elizabeth Warren as her VP candidate. I think her campaign is inept enough to do it. If she chooses Warren, she'll lose the South and the Midwest, as well as 95% of the swing states.

Over the next couple of months, it will be very interesting to see what type of ads Trump will run. Can't wait to see the reactions and expressions of HRC and her supporters as well as the media once Trump starts attacking and exposing Hillary's dirty little secrets.

It makes sense. Warren is a Hillary underling and has the same sort of lying and scamming sociopathic personality.

Hillary would never hire someone based purely on competency the only thing that interests her is compliance.

It's standard sociopath behavior..you surround yourself with sycophants and enablers so you can micromanage the agenda of the day.

Fucktard-in-chief's "endorsement" means Loretta won't be indicting her, even if the evidence reaches Everest-level proportions. It's already the size of a small city.

The corruption, cronyism, and pure moral filth of this presidential administration would make Caligula blush in embarrassment.

Hillary picking Warren as VP would be direly ill-advised and make Trump grin from ear to ear.

So of course there's a non-zero chance that's what will happen. Laugh

It's calculated to push fencesitting blacks, single white women, and latinos into Hillary's corner.

Hillary already knows she's not going to beat Trump when it comes to the primary demographic.

So Obama is stepping in to shill give his endorsement as representative of blacks the U.S. people.

This is a good deal easier for the fencesitters when the official signal is given that she's in the clear indictment-wise.

Only Trump can put her ass in prison now.

They're all full of piss and vinegar tonight. The tantrum of the day is their outrage at Trump calling the federal judge a mexican. I don't know about the rest of you, but it's getting a little old hearing a bunch of lawyers waxing poetic as if federal judges are somehow beyond reproach. What do they call the anchorman in law school? Your honor.
