RE: The Donald Trump thread
Trump's UK 2019 trip summary:

On Brexit: "I think it will happen and I believe the prime minister has brought it to a very good point where something will take place in the not too distant future."

On a future US-UK trade deal: "...the United States is committed to a phenomenal trade deal between the US and the UK. There is tremendous potential in that trade deal - I say probably two and even three times what we are doing right now."

On Chinese firm Huawei: "We are going to have absolutely an agreement on Huawei and everything else. We have an incredible intelligence relationship."

On protests: "...I heard that there were protests. I said where are the protests? I don’t see any protests, I did see a small protest today when I came, very small, so a lot of it is fake news."

On defence: "The prime minister and I agree that our Nato allies must increase their defence spending, we've both been working very hard to that end."

On Corbyn: He wanted to meet today or tomorrow and I decided that I would not do that. I think that he is, from where I come from, somewhat of a negative force."

On the state banquet: "We want to thank her majesty the Queen, who I had a lovely dinner with last night."

On to D-Day remembrance ceremonies, June 5th and 6th as the last living D-Day heroes visit their fallen brothers in arms graves

Ten years from now the last of our UK and North American D-Day heroes will likely be laid to rest for eternity as most were in their late teens and early 20s on those fateful days and now most between 95 and some over 100. The question now is Europe still worth defending with their present-day Mad Marxists inviting invasions from 3rd world diseased Christian Hating Islamists and other assorted masses of low IQ sub-saharans who will never able to be productive in the UK and EU's Modern Knowledge-based economies?

It's not clever. He's taking a nice big dump on his base and signalling his true allegiances.

He was elected by people who are constantly targeted for extinction by the LGBTFREAK movement. People should stop tying their reasoning faculties to the defective compass of "assume Trump is right". Open your eyes and see things for what they obviously are.

Didn't Trump give the LGBT community a shout out with the rainbow flag at the RNC convention before his election? Perhaps I'm remembering it wrong but I thought his voters already knew he had some support for the LGBT community before voting for him. Huh

Though I do believe the rampant LGBT agenda run by the SJW's is a problem in our society.

Trump has never, ever been anti-LGBT.

This is just another example how anti-Trumper trolls like to twist facts to support their constant desire to dump on Trump. They "invent" something that supposedly, he somehow promised to do during the campaign (which of course he didn't). Then they claim he's a rat for failing to deliver on this non-existent promise. If you call them on their bullshit, they fall to their backup argument that "well, he SHOULD have promised it, and if he didn't promise it, then he's a rat".

The bottom line is, some people just come her to trash talk Trump. If they can't find something real, they'll invent something.

All this is just another, even more boring variation of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

He's never been religious or anti-abortion either. He was the pretty classic definition of a "limousine liberal" for most of his life.

Who can forget this?

And just to counteract all the "woe is me" gloom in this thread, here's some great news: the Brian Kolflage BUILD THE WALL project has completed it's first section.

Privately built wall, in a tiny fraction of the time the government takes, for a fraction of the cost.

BOOM! Wall built!.

Americans didn't build this great nation by sitting around whining about how bad things are. We just fix it. No government needed...we just do it ourselves.

Oh, and by the way, Build the Wall's founder Brian Kolflage could EASILY win a senate seat now, in several different states. After 2 senate terms, he could run for President. Or run for Governor of a state then President.

People complain that there aren't enough MAGA successors to Trump...not true. There's a small group of very strong players and they will command enormous resources. Imagine running in 2024 and having elder Trump put his billions to work for you?

Trump doesn't have billions to put into campaigns, he's highly leveraged and dependent on his creditors. He's still a very wealthy guy but probably not a billionaire, and definitely not a multi-billionaire. In any case, nowhere near the kind of kingmaker wealth of an Adelson, Bloomberg, Bronfman or Kochs.

2 good things which remain to be seen how far they go are:

1) Threaten Mexico with tariffs if they don't stem the immigration flow coming through their countries

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-t...SKCN1T41KU

2) Silicon Valley Battered as Washington Turns Up Antitrust Heat

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/...t-concerns

Though I don't expect either of those things to get any meaningful results. They are likely putting out those stories to give the base some hope - which will be shattered at a later date.

The globohomos want those things to go on, so likely nothing much will happen.

Corbyn didnt turn up for the state banquet with Trump. The invite was from the Queen. The Muslim mayor of Londonistan didnt turn up either.

Why Corbyn wanted a meeting with POTUS after that decision I dont know. The guy is a typical brain dead commie so theres that. He will go to the funeral of muslim terrorists but not a state banquet?

He and his ilk should be thrown off the cliffs of Dover before they can do anymore damage to this country. I laughed when Trump denied him after! Laugh

You gotta appreciate the Make America Great Again placards together with the waving of the Rainbow Flag. The symbolism is fantastic.

Not to put too fine a point on it the Congressional action is not legislation but investigations as the Anti-Trust legislation has existed for many decades going back to Robber Baron Days:

From yourBloomberg link:

Technology giants are girding for sweeping investigations into their business practices as top U.S. antitrust officials and lawmakers carved out a battle plan targeting Silicon Valley’s best-known names, sending shares tumbling and raising the prospect of a drawn-out fight with the government.

The House Judiciary Committee said late Monday it plans a bipartisan investigation into whether digital platform companies are using their market power to harm competition. That move heightens scrutiny of Alphabet Inc.’s Google, Amazon.com Inc. and Facebook Inc. after news that top antitrust officials have agreed to divvy up oversight of several technology giants.

The Federal Trade Commission will take responsibility for antitrust probes of Facebook and Amazon, while the Justice Department is set to open an investigation of Google, according to people familiar with the matter. The Justice Department will also oversee scrutiny of Apple Inc., one of the people said.

By parceling out antitrust oversight, the U.S. government has set the stage for formal inquiries and escalated pressure on the companies amid increasing criticism that their practices are harming competition in digital markets. After years of being hands off on the industry, enforcers are on the verge of opening broad investigations that could yield significant changes to how the companies do business and potentially lead to a break up of a company.

“It has been building to a fever pitch of over the last six to 12 months," said Michael Carrier, a law professor at Rutgers University. "There’s general unease these companies have too much power, and it really crosses the political aisle."

Shares of technology companies fell on the news of the broad agreement between the Justice Department and the FTC, which could have ramifications across the industry. They also have to contend with the inquiry by the House’s antitrust panel, led by Representative David Cicilline, a Rhode Island Democrat

"This is a very serious investigation. It will be very broad. We will conduct hearings, we will conduct witness interviews, we’ll do depositions, we’ll do document requests," Cicilline said.

Alphabet dropped 6.1% to $1,036.23 in New York. Amazon fell 4.6% to $1,692.69, while Facebook slid 7.5% to $164.15, the most since July 2018. Apple shares fell 1% to $173.30.

Google, Facebook and Amazon declined to comment, as did the Justice Department and the FTC. Apple didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

The antitrust division of the Justice Department and the FTC share antitrust enforcement and typically agree to divide up scrutiny of companies depending on their expertise. Over the years they have passed Google back and forth. Under an earlier agreement, the FTC oversaw a broad investigation into Google’s search practices, while the antitrust division reviewed mergers in the advertising and online travel sectors.

Awesome update my friend.

Thing with Sadiq Khan. he sits at the head of this roundtable that they have, the London Assembly..

Anyone says anything complementary about him "sure, I'll look into it, have your people call my people.."

Anyone challenges his decisions or his judgement and he shifts the blame "well, why aren't you criticising the police? they are involved just as much as me.." and "why aren't you looking at the local council? They co-signed it! Don't look at me!"

It's comical.

The little munchkin just sits there and uses his one trick to evade any criticism - every time.

he has been promoted way above his ability. Should be managing a team of 12 in some local council office.

Just like Obama, another affirmative action whose own rule is fraying at the seams and who can only fall back on #Resistance! and progressive victimhood.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Trump has been awesome on this visit to the UK. The Queen loved him and gave him her warmest smile (that she doesn't give everyone). Charles was sitting next to him at the banquet laughing and having a great time. Trump looked totally relaxed and at home walking through the palace among all the Royal big-hitters.

The protests were small and self-destructive (pushing over old men?! throwing milkshakes at people?!). We all know the left to be incredibly nasty but I sense normies are beginning to see it for themselves at last.

Khan got taken out by tweet before Trump even got off the plane.

Corbyn was expertly made irrelevant.

May looked a panicked, sweaty mess standing next to a confident (ask me a question, I'll give you an answer) Trump at that press conference. You could see it in her horror-stricken face; wondering what her handlers want her to say!

Melania and Ivanka looked fantastic.

Now to top it off the Trump Blimp was deflated!

All in all, it's been a roaring success as far as I can tell. Even braindead NPC anti-trumpers I know are warming to him. In fact for the first time in a while, some of them are looking a bit nervy as if they sense something in the public mood.

Real bad economic number this morning with the official NFP report due on Friday. The Fed will be forced to cut interest rates, even more than they planned, in an attempt to prevent a recession. If that isn't enough Trump has to choose between throwing in the towel and losing on Tariffs, which will be a huge boost to the Democrat candidate or pushing forward with something that will not work (tariffs + open borders + globalist financial institutions running things).

Well - it's the last Anglo-Saxon president in the former English-created empire. The British Royals are from German descent as well. At least the Queen lived to see the last one. The next ones are going to be a bunch of Sadiq Khans and Barack Obamas hating your guts and spitting on your heritage.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Well, this is interesting even though we shouldn’t take the DOJ, FBI etc. seriously.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Too funny!

Quote:JEREMY CORBYN ranted for 10 minutes yesterday at a poorly attended anti-Donald Trump protest, which reportedly cost the taxpayer millions to police. The Labour leader said he joined the protest in Westminster to "stand in solidarity" with those the US President had "attacked in America, around the world and in our own country".

Organisers of the Together Against Trump movement had hoped for the "biggest demonstration in British history", but numbers fell well short of the 250,000 who took to the streets in June 2018. The final number could have been as low as 10,000, according to a police source in Parliament Square.
