Thumbs Up Roosh's 2015 World Tour recaps
I just came back from attending Roosh's first World Tour stop in Berlin. I don't want to write an in-depth review, because that might give away too much of what Roosh is talking about and it might also raise some wrong expectations in case Roosh decides to change his program around a little.

Just this much - I think the 4 big parts are this:
  • Roosh's talk - exceeded my expectations
  • question & answer time with Roosh - exceeded my expectations
  • general socialising/discussion with Roosh - exceeded my expectations
  • meeting & socialising with the other attendees - exceeded my expectations

If you're near one of the cities he's visiting and think about attending, do it! It was a little time consuming for me, since I'm not based in Berlin, so I had a 5.5 hour train ride to, had to spend a night in Berlin, and a 5.5h train ride back - 30 hours until I was back at my house - but I'd invest that time again in an instant.

I think the other attendees liked it too, because around 15 of us were still sitting and talking in the hotel lobby of the venue yesterday. Speaking of the other attendees, these were all great people - travelling to the event not just from Germany, but also many from Denmark, Poland and Austria. Rather young (youngest attendee was 15, attending with his adult brother) - I'd say most people were in the 25-30 bracket. No social outcasts or old, frustrated men or however mainstream media might describe people attending "manosphere" gatherings. People could suit up a little more though, I consider this a potential elite, and it wouldn't hurt people to show that a little more.

The only way you might be disappointed is if you go there solely for the game stuff. It had its' place too - and 10+ people went to local club "Soda Club" together after midnight - but it wasn't the main focus.

Further highlights:
  • just around the corner of the venue, Berlin's Christoph Street Day Parade was marching
  • forum member Tokyo Joe King was buying a round in the hotel lobby afterwards
  • no feminist protest or anything disruptive - there was one woman attending (fat, sitting in the last row and "guarded" by a tall fat dude) - who could potentially have been attending to tear the event down later on in some feminist/leftist publication, but she never said anything

There was tumblr feminist at a gathering for Roosh? Not sure why a fat woman would be there but I am curious.

London will probably be a much better indicator of whether or not the hambeast freaks will show up at some of the other events.

Glad to hear it went well. I'm sure it'll be great. Seems like it's gonna be a packed house in NYC.

RE: Recommending Roosh's World Tour
@Foolsgold:
Yes, there was - and Roosh talked to her before the start. He told us later that he said to her that she will be upset by what he is going to talk about and that he can give her a full refund if she doesn't want to attend in that case. She declined though.

As far as I know nobody else had contact to her, since she was shielded by the big guy, they were sitting in the back, and left right after the Q&A session (before the socializing started)

RE: Recommending Roosh's World Tour
I wholeheartedly endorse Sgt's recommendation of the Roosh World Tour. The talk itself was informative and humorous, and the wide-ranging Q&A further amplified its value. After all the years of reading and watching his work, it was awesome to meet Roosh up close and personal.

For me the very best part of yesterday was meeting and hanging out with so many upstanding and fascinating men. What a breath of fresh air compared to the many simps and chumps we have to deal with from day to day. The calibre of the lives at this gathering -- from the young energetic hustlers to the older established gentlemen -- surpassed my already lofty expectations.

In fact, I got so much out of the face-to-face meetings at the event that I am now seriously considering modifying my business schedule in the U.S. next month to attend the DC and/or New York stops of the tour.

***
For those who may not know: The Berlin Christoph Street Day Parade is one of the largest gay pride parades in Europe. Yes, the lecture coincided in both time and place with that fucking spectacle. On the way to the noon pre-meetup, I shit you not I saw the gimp from Pulp Fiction being led around by a chain clasped to its neck...

Finally, to Sgt: Very good to meet you. I really enjoyed your insights on "social circle" game/"hobby" game. Listening to you, a rare flash of inspiration went off in my head with a great idea I can implement when I get back to Tokyo. +1 from me (as soon as I can continue repping members -- my quota for the day is up!).

RE: Roosh's World Tour recaps
We started at 3pm and I said goodbye to the last men standing at 4am. Total attendance was 38.

My speech itself went long at 1 hour and 15 minutes. I want to tighten that up a bit by removing some of the parts I know will be brought up in the Q&A. Maintaining everyone's attention for that long is a challenge, especially without a Powerpoint slideshow, but the guys seemed pretty into the topics I talked about.

The Q&A was a lot of fun, and I think I want to lengthen this for the future lectures. We had a good mix of questions and I liked the interactive nature of it.

The meet & greet carried over to the lobby of the hotel where about 15-20 guys remained until 10pm or so. Then after that was a night of drinking, talking, flirting to girls. TokyoJoe and I worked on three Russian/Ukrainian girls on the street using high octane American clown game, entertaining them with three different languages, but it was not to be.

It was also good to put a face to Lucky, PainPositive, Sgt, Austrian and many others from the forum.

The venue was the Sofitel hotel. Like others have mentioned, there was a loud gay pride march going on across the street. I saw shirtless men grinding up on each other before entering the hotel.

One woman did show up to the lecture with a man, and many guys were expecting her to unfurl a feminist banner, but she was polite throughout. The situation was fishy, but I don't think their intentions were bad.

Quote:forum member Tokyo Joe King was buying a round in the hotel lobby afterwards

That wasn't a round---it was the entire check.

So one down, five to go. Thumb up

RE: Roosh's World Tour recaps
I'm disappointed reading all of this. Not because the event sounds bad, but the exact opposite. It sounds like this was well worth the money; a hell of an experience, and I have to miss it because I'm not near any of these areas.

Fuckthat2

If you do one of these again in the future, try to squeeze Chicago or the Twin Cities in your schedule. I'd gladly go to an event like this.

Also, you said something a month or two ago about somebody recording these events - When will we be able to watch the recording(s)?

Sounds fantastic, Roosh. I'm pumped up for the Montreal lecture.

And damn, you got the Sofitel Hotel. That is beaucoup bucks, man. Bravo.

In Rio, the Sofitel is in Zona Sul right on the water. And you are talking big, big bucks....!

One other question: How did the video recording work out?

Looking forward to the Toronto pregame ceremonies Smile

Roosh if you stir things up like Warren Farrell (or worse) I hope you will still be going forward with the talk, or the venue doesn't throw you out.
Also I think you should plan to have a random cameraman/interviewer team ready to go around and ask random questions of any protesters that would show up outside. Would be fun to expose their lies

If some protest or disturbance happens at one of these talks you should post it on youtube immediately. Can't waste an opportunity at having something possibly go viral.

All

I second everything said.
Roosh gave a commendable speech, handed good advice and everyone had a blast.

Guys who sign up for the next lectures - make sure to clear your schedule.
The idea of hanging out with likeminded people with "No Filter" on what you can say...WOW, I think we were all excited.Banana
We are most of the time alone. Finally you see, feel and actually speak to people who share your view.

Bring game and other related questions. It's a unique opportunity to learn face to face from THE MAN himself.

RE: Roosh's World Tour recaps
Wish I could make it.

I will say here that I noticed an interesting dynamic with forum members I've met.

I really don't have jack shit in common with any of them, at least not that much. I still have way more in common with the friends I've had since my early 20s or teens. Invariably at every meetup, I look at the other guys and think, "Goddamn, this really hits guys from all walks of life. We could not be more different."

However, with nearly all forum members I've met, we all have that one thing in common, that thing that brought us together. I don't want to call that one thing the red pill anymore. I would call it a rejection of the status quo. Guys who have woken up and taken a step back, who are on a path to live life on their terms.

Despite the fact that I don't have much in common with most forum members, I'm finding I'd still rather spend time with them than my friends from way back when. With forum members, I can let shit fly without a filter. That's becoming less and less the case with my old friends, especially in light of this gay marriage bullshit.

RE: Roosh's World Tour recaps
A remarkable experience, definitely recommended.

I went out the night before the event with YoungArt and we stayed out until 5am. When I arrived at the event after lunch with YoungArt, Tokyo Joe, Austrian, and PainPositive I was hungover and tired—not exactly in the frame of mind to absorb interesting ideas.

When I saw the gay parade nearby I was alarmed that either a) there would be a mob waiting for us hotel entrance or b) Roosh was trolling us. Roosh brought up the point that a preponderance of homosexuals can openly engage in sex acts in a public parade yet we, as a group of straight men who are only having a discussion, must conceal our location and identities.

The speech exceeded my expectations. I won’t give away the particulars and I will say that a couple of themes are how we arrived at the current state of affairs between men and women and how through the process of mastering game, you inadvertently shape yourself into a better man. This parable from Roosh’s blog casts some light on this idea. There were also some great practical tips that I will incorporate into my game.

This is the first event of this sort I’ve ever attended and was glad to see that the vast majority of the attendees were normal, cool dudes. In fact, at one point during the meet and greet I mentioned to one guy who brought his teenage brother that the average coolness of the guys in the room was much higher than any group of random guys. Some of us discussed why it was the case that even above average guys were experiencing difficulties either getting laid or maintaining the interest of girls after having sex with them. One guy looked like he walked right out of a Hugo Boss photoshoot (only the 4th gayest thing I’ve said this week) yet he had his own specific concerns.

About half of us met up later at the hotel lobby where we had some drinks and further discussed the themes of the speech and other topics. Here I was impressed with the level of intellectual horsepower, ranging from social issues, relationships, religion, politics, and meaning. During a conversation with one guy about atheism and morality, I was taken aback when he made a reference to Peter Singer because not many people know who that is.

We all met up later for drinks and to check out the hipster Berlin girls. A tougher city than I expected, I’ve had better luck in smaller college towns (Mannheim & Heidelberg in particular). I have to say, YoungArt and Tokyo Joe were not afraid to put in the work. Every time I pushed YoungArt into a set because I was too anxious to do it myself, he jumped in with no hesitation. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious, leading me to approach more girls I have in many months. Tokyo Joe also had a positive disposition and yes, I definitely owe him a drink or two after he picked up the fucking tab. I initially thought perhaps Roosh wouldn’t go out with us because he’d feel he'd have to perform or entertain. I think he sensed that we were a solid group of guys though and it was great to see him in action too. At that point in the night, only the girls wanted us to perform and entertain for them.

I highly recommend attending one of the upcoming events.

RE: Roosh's World Tour recaps
Just getting back to Serbia after a long weekend. I had some work in Berlin that allowed me to make it to the lecture. Overall the experience was great and even though I've already heard the speech I'd go again if I could.

Roosh's talk - Excellent as usual. My main regret is not taking notes. More than a lecture this speech was a guide and covered some game tips as well. You may think it's all been said and done before but as usual Roosh surprised me with new material.

Time with Roosh - It's cool to speak to Roosh in person. Many of us feel like we know him because of his books and writing but it was cool he asked us questions about our personal lives and where we've been In our travels.

Meeting & socialising with the other attendees - My favorite part. It's great to sit with some normal dudes who you can say what you want around. The forum is great but even here you have to be careful not to upset people. During our pre lecture lunch we were laughing and joking making fun of the freakish parade outside. It was a good time.

DkTokyo- A guy I want to be like in 10 years. Older established dude with a positive vibe. Funny and able to offer advice to us young players. I could learn a ton from this man. 10 years in the game. Knows his stuff. Much respect.

Young Art- Young buck of the group but already on his way to being a top notch player. Approaches a lot (I've heard from the other guys) works out, takes advice, and doesn't take shit too seriously.

Lucky- Intelligent guy. Enjoyed our conversations about day game and other things. We have had some of the same jobs and I wish him luck in his transition to his new location and crushing his future goals.

Roosh- All his advice was sound. Very engaged during the speech. Roosh was personable and answered every question to the best of his ability even if they were abstract. Some of us laughed if a strange comment was made during the Q&A but Roosh showed respect and and kept going.

During the meet and greet everyone took pictures and got to speak with him 1 on 1.

I only suggest a bathroom break during the lecture. I know any human is able to hold it for an hour but it would be better (imo) to have a 5 minute break to help fully absorb the info. I drank the night before so was hydrating all morning. Bad idea.

Looking forward to the video.

All in all this was an awesome experience and a great investment of my time. If you have a chance you should definitely take advantage. +1 To everyone who participated.

Thanks for everything guys. Good luck in your future endeavors. Know that if you ever need a couch to crash on in my neck of the woods you are always welcome. If you need a guide in Belgrade, advice, apartments, or anything at all don't hesitate to ask. My door is always open.

Cheers Gents!

There are some small threads devoted to this question.

Hopefully more people can answer in here, or those threads. If you buy an NYC ticket, I'll see you there. Smile

A recent thing I heard is: "The seduction community is the biggest secret self-improvement society in the world."

That happens with most Red Pill guys with Game over time.

Sounds like it was a lot of fun as well as plenty of deep information dispensed - like minded people meeting - all around success.

I might make Toronto or Montreal since I missed the closest one to me - right deep into highest enemy territory - heh. Have to visit extended family in Canada anyway.

Looking forward to hearing about adventures on these nights out after the speech. More importantly looking forward to one hosted in Houston or anywhere in Texas if it ever happens.

"Until the day when God shall deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words,— 'Wait and hope'."- Alexander Dumas, "The Count of Monte Cristo"
