RE: The Rapid Fat Loss Diet : A writeup
I have been losing weight for the last two months. Mainly by eating less. I think my libido is increasing and my dick looks bigger. Anyone notice the same thing or is it my imagination?

Don't debate me.

It is real.

For what it's worth, Dr. Oz said that for every 30 lbs of fat you lose, your dick gets an inch longer. I know for a fact that if you're leaner, your dick gets bigger. Leaner folks have better circulation and this also helps.

Pride male - that was hilarious ....but actually there is a layer of fat above it that when it goes down with weight loss you will appear and actually will seem longer as that layer of fat is out of the way.

RE: The Rapid Fat Loss Diet : A writeup
Just a few quick thoughts after a few days on the diet.

It's easy so far. This style of dieting is not a compromise diet, it's main point is the fact that, even though your body will try and drop it's metabolic rate, it won't be near enough to stop the rapid fat loss. It's the kind of project that serves a very specific purpose and is not a long term solution to dieting, the guy writes a whole chapter to transitioning this diet so you eat at maintenance and you know to manage your diet in the future. Sadly the book is crap. It's 99% theory, which is great for your internal curriculum on the subject but the practical applicability is sparing. I've used this website, BB.com and a few other blogs to see real life examples of this diet in action.

Eating Fibre and Protein dense food is laborious and kind of takes the fun out of eating. Having food that is bland and uncomfortable to eat takes away a lot of the compulsive feelings towards eating. I'm also sleeping a lot more and feeling less bloated.

I'm eating a lot of chicken breast. Either boiled or sliced in a luncheon meat style. Mix it up with broccoli, cauliflower and red capsicum with a dash of oyster sauce and it's very edible. For you Aussies, Kangaroo meat is also brilliant for this. Dice it super thing, rub it in your spice and cook it super quick. Eat it in lettuce. I found High Protein Low Fat Cheese! It tastes like aged cheddar and super low joule. I'm using vinegar, oyster sauce and mustard as my condiments. Drinking too much diet soft drink but not after certain times. If I get light headed I've got high glucose jelly beans. 2-3g are great, especially before the gym.

Feeling a little bit dazed. I wouldn't dare try this kind of diet if I was going through a peak period with my business or work. Pick your times for this kind of diet as you are crash dieting and it will affect your energy levels and concentration.

Eating about 850-1,000 calories a day with 140-160g of protein. No sugar (except for jelly beans) and most fats are coming from the meat (trace amounts) and fish oil. Probably won't do this for more than 2 weeks at a time, cycling with another kind of diet such as IF (which also worked quite well) or even a 500-a-day deficit.

So far in 3 days lost 1.5KG.

I wonder if quest bars are ok for the diet? 20g of protein in each and 170 cals total

So there is 90 calories there of non-protein nutrition.

The point is to limit carbohydrate and fat intake as much as possible so quest bars probably aren't a ok.

Op,

How did you feel on a daily basis while on the diet?
Did you feel like uuou were going to die from starvation the whole time? Do you feel listless, lethargic or unable to focus because of the deficit?

Im recommending your write-up to someone and i know the first question there gonna ask is," am i going to feel like im starving all the time?"
Lols - they've got poor self control when it comes to food and will eat, literally, anything if they've gone a couple hours of not eating after usual meal time.

I would like to let them know how they can expect to feel should they buy the book and give it a try.

RE: The Rapid Fat Loss Diet : A writeup
^^^I think everyone is different handling this. I have gone the last two days eating only after 24 hour fasts. First day was intentional, second day was not. And only had minor annoyances where I noticed I might be hungry. If the person wants to transition slowly have them do IF.

But I think it is effective. Like I said in my post I ate a bit more than the plan allowed but I was burning calories boxing. I am noticeably more shredded in the arms than anytime in the prior years and have some cool dimples on my stomach. Also remember I am in my 40s and this would probably work better for a younger guy.

If you read my post on my experience you can find the first draft of the book.

In other words your daily caloric deficit would have needed to be 1,750 calories!!! I don't really know why you are exaggerating your fat loss.

Pretty easy for a fat guy to lose 3 pounds of WEIGHT/week at the start of a diet. It won't all be fat, 1lb or so might be water loss, and an effect of having less sodium in the system. I suspect Hannibal was not being strictly literal when he said 3lb FAT, rather used it loosely to mean 'weight'.

It sure was 3 lbs of fat a week. I measured my starting weight before the diet, then I measured my final weight a week after I ended. I did this three times during the day, different times, and averaged them out. 12 lbs lost with very little strength loss. Samsamsam lost 8 lbs, but he's lighter than me and wasn't as strict about it. If you want a math breakdown, here it is.

rapidfatloss Wrote:Daily maintenance calories for a 195 lb male : 2800/day
Protein requirements : 195g/day or 780 calories
Refeed : 3000 calories once a week
Cheat meal : 1000 calories once a week

19600 calories / week
-5460 calories in daily protein
-3000 refeed calories
-1000 cheat meal calories
= 10140 calories
Divide this by 3500 and that's 2.89 lbs per week, which means out of the 12 lbs I lost, less than half a pound was muscle, probably glycogen stores.

Like anything else, you only get out of it what you put into it. Give it a half assed effort and expect half assed results. This is not an easy diet and it isn't for everyone but it does work as intended. You burn fat with minimal muscle loss at the fastest rate humanly possible. You can be skeptical all you want, I've done the diet and it works for me. Next time you want to cut, give RFL a try for two weeks and see what happens. I was very skeptical too until I tried it.

Just to chime in here on the Rapid Fat Loss Diet. I did it for about five or six weeks total (broke up into two intervals) and went from 207# (bloated) to about 193#, measured a few days after eating pizza and drinking beer to my contentment.

That's fourteen pounds of weight cut in less than a summer. I believe it was almost exclusively fat and have justification for it.

I stuck to the pure protein diet during the week (whey isolate and chicken tits). My cheat meal was usually 1 KFC 5 dollar fill-up and those little chicken poppers. My refeeds were not very clean (sugary waffles, bottle of coca-cola, donuts, sometimes ice cream, beers).

Before and after, my lower body lifts stayed about the same. I lost a little power in the bench (my 5 rep max went to a 3 or 4 rep max). I am not particularly strong so YMMV.

Experiencing is believing guys. I wouldn't tout this shit if I hadn't gotten basically the same results as Hannibal.

Before you talk shit about it, consider trying it for just 2 weeks and come back to the thread. Just two weeks. What do you have to lose?

I promise your strength is not going to suffer that much, and you CAN STILL LIFT during your refeeds.

Once I beat this cold, I am during RFL again for 2 weeks before going home of xmas. I have been eating mainly chicken noodle soup, lots of carbs and shit, plus some other stuff I shouldn't mention Laugh

RFL worked for me. I am not the best with measurements and such, all I know was when I did it for 3 weeks, I looked pretty tight. Better than the last few years (I try to stay in shape, so I just try to stay within striking range of a shredded body with some effort but not months of effort.

RE: The Rapid Fat Loss Diet : A writeup
I am one week into my second run right now, actually. Got up to 200 lbs at 20% bodyfat basically eating pizza and getting shitfaced.

Right now I'm sitting at 193 lbs, so an optimistic 2-3lbs fat loss and 7 lbs of water and glycogen lost. Tomorrow is refeed day Smile

This time I will post before/after pictures.

Best case scenario, I don't get too derailed at Christmastime and there will be some good results to show by mid January.

Good luck on the next go at it. If you want to speed it up a bit, you could drink a quart of ice water every day or go for a 20 minute stroll.

I am 3 days into my first week of my first run, first two days were OK but I barely slept last night and am feeling like shit all the time today, like I am sick and slightly depressed.

I am trying to get down from 105kg at ~20% bodyfat to 95kg in 2 two-week runs with a week pause in between.

I hope this will be worth it

Ephedra/caffeine? No.
I'm not sure where to get ephedra legally, though if you have a link I would definitely like to hear about it. Supposedly there is some kind of cold medicine you can get over the counter but no doubt the feds cracked down on it.

I did drink plenty of coffee and some diet coke, though I did taper off the diet coke because it seemed to destroy my teeth.

I'm sure you can get it at your local supplement store. It's legal in Canada for me but just in low dose pills. Will try it soon

As far as I know, ephedra is illegal in the US because some halfwit ran a marathon while dosing up on ephedra and died of dehydration or heat exhaustion or something. They're going to pull the same nonsense on creatine any day now.

RE: The Rapid Fat Loss Diet : A writeup
Checking in after 6 days of RFL to share my thoughts on this.

It got way easier after day 3, I kinda got used to it. I am trying to get about 200 grams of protein, so I mostly eat chicken and drink whey, and add some salad here and there. I had one big hamburger as a free meal yesterday and felt kinda sick afterwards.

Scales showed 102kg this morning, so 3kg in 2 days... not bad. If it goes on this way, and its not all water, I will be more than pleased.
I feel I haven't lost strength yet in 1-3 rep range, but I lost some endurance which I suppose is temporary. For example, I squatted big yesturday, and after that I tried to bench and had very little strength left.

My face looks leaner (probably due to carb depletion), and since I have a round Slavic face (think Fedor) I think I look much better this way.

I really have high hopes to it, if it works this will be a quick fix for my otherwise bad eating habits.

Would a diet like this be recommended for someone with high cholesterol? I'm not diabetic (two points below pre-diabetic levels according to my bloodwork but I do have a family history) but I do have high cholesterol levels. I'm guessing a diet like this would help bring them down but would it even be advisable?

RE: The Rapid Fat Loss Diet : A writeup
If you want to try something sane and sensible, just eat your bodyweight in grams of protein on two nonconsecutive days during the week. So if you weigh 200 lbs, you could eat 22 ounces of lean chicken and a salad on Monday and Thursday and then eat normally the rest of the time.

It's a lot like fasting, you'll lose weight, and your bloodwork will likely improve. If I were you I'd also eat at least a couple fish oil capsules a day. We don't get enough omega 3 fatty acids in our diet, which causes all kinds of blood problems.

If you respond well to that kind of diet (it's called the 5:2 diet), then you'd probably be fine to try RFL.

The rapid fat loss program can work, but it can be risky. There's only one review where a guy measured his bloodwork and said that it fixed a lot of problems in about a month.

Just want to follow up on this. I've been dosing EC for a while now and it is quite good for appetite suppression. Not complete, but quite good. It makes the sort of large deficit that would be unbearable into just... moderately difficult. Second, it gives provides a decent kick of energy and then some, which you'd otherwise be drained of on a diet. I wish I had known about EC earlier. That said, I plan on experimenting with clenbuterol (within mild doses) in the coming weeks.

I was going to start this diet for about 3 weeks, but just went to the grocery store and got a bunch of food, so I guess I'll just do a 1200-1500 Calorie cut while trying to burn around 3000 calories a day.

Maybe I'll do this in a few months but glad to see you guys are getting good results.

I'm currently having a dry january with no booze what so ever but I haven't been lifting in at least a year and have a small amount of stomach fat to cut from the 25kg i lost in the last year.

I've started going back to the gym now doing a 5x5 program 3-4 times a week

Will starting this type of liquid diet negate any lifting/strength progress? I have no real desire to get bulked, just lean and toned.
