Next up: Anti-Drone Weapons.

EMP Blasts
Net Catchers
Electronic Hijacking

I'm with him on this one, I'd shoot the damn thing down to.

These fucking asshats helped let cars burn on the 15 north to Vegas because planes and choppers couldn't drop water when the drone was flying in the air.

Fuck them.

This was also the first thing that came to my mind.

I'm glad I went through STEM. There will be a whole new industry based off drones both for them directly and for stopping them, like that one that someone attached a spray can to one and went and blew a load on this girls face.

I wonder if the the shooter will get charged and it will be use it as an opportunity to remove more rights of privacy from citizens.

It's a gray area, he did discharge a firearm, we'll see.

Hopefully he just gets a misdemeanor and a fine and he goes after these kids for being voyeurs.

Would have been more badass though if he'd took it down with a pet falcon.

For all the guy knew they were casing his property. Guaranteed there are some smart theives out there doing it.

Honey Weiss is the bomb. And still made in Chippewa Falls even though they are owned by Miller.

Leinie's Red is good as well.

Spotted Cow is vastly overrated. I can say that since everyone outside the state wants it, but can't get it.

Edit-I was disappointed to see that Wisconsin's beer biz dropped down to just 8 billion dollars last year. Not bad for 4.5 million people I guess....

Honey Weiss accounts for probably 50% of my alcohol intake these days. Just so damn good with a variety of food as well. I'm surprised Miller hasn't tried to test it in other markets, I think it'd be widely popular. Maybe there isn't enough production capability

They could make it in Milwaukee if they wanted to. Years ago when I worked as an engineer on the rails in Milwaukee I was in the brewery a number of times, including the rail shipping dock.

They had pallets of stuff you would never have guessed sitting there ready for shipment.

Even Zima.

btw-Tagged one of the Leinie brother's daughters several years ago while in Winona for a project. Yes, she showed me her ID.

She was pretty hot, but as expected rather uppity.

Edit-Here's a "spent grain" car from back in the day. Note the Miller logo outline on the door.

They don't ship near as much by rail as they used to. (At one time there was a solid train of beer out of Milwaukee from the multiple big breweries. Every day) Miller still gets hops and some other stuff shipped in by rail however.

If you drank Miller products in the Twin Cities 10 years or more ago, there is a very good chance I hauled it part of the way though. The distributor in the Twin Cities got their beer via rail from Miller. Several carloads a day.

I've seen one of the daughters in the latest TV ad recently, wonder if it was her. She looked pretty good

10+ years ago I would have been dabling in the Champagne of Beers here, so its likely you did have a hand in it. You know if those trains were on the tracks going through St Paul by the river?

There's tons of grain here that gets stored/transported on the river and some of it goes into cars. Wonder if some gets sent your way to the breweries.

There was just another incident at JFK where the pilots spotted a drone near where they were going to land. It's only a matter of time before one of those things rams through a jet engine and crashes a plane.

I know the media is inherently narrow in its scope of reporting, let alone its liberal bias, but every time I hear a story about a drone the people flying it never fail to be fucking assholes. Instead of hitting the gym, building a business, or talking to women these faggots waste time playing with their toy planes and making other people's lives a little bit worse.

My mom wants these things banned. I'm starting to agree with her.

Yeah, into the big yard on the on the east side of the river. Main line runs along Hwy 61 through Newport, Cottage Grove, Hastings, etc.

My main issue with this whole thing is that the drone was supposedly 200 feet in the air and he hit it with #8 bird shot. Even with a really well choked shotgun that would be an amazing shot for something that has a 36 cross-section at its widest. As someone with a shotgun loaded with #00 shot who goes to the range often , i still miss targets 10% of the time 10-15 meters out.

200 feet makes an amazing shot?

Please...

Countdown until some Ted Kaczynski type mad genius creates an aerial IED and blows some people up.

Well the cartels are already flying drugs over the borders via drones, these things shouldn't be banned, but heavily regulated and outfitted with something like radar ID or gps so an airline or whoever knows where it's at.

Next thing you'll know they'll be electronic fences deployed in the firmware/software where drones are limited to fly certain places.

I really hope this drone trend stops. Fortunately it's an expensive hobby so not many people have one.

I bought one (DJI Phantom+), and have since given it away - it's a lawsuit waiting to happen - the tech is just not there as of yet, and I wasn't about to lose everything I own because of some wireless/GPS malfunction/fly-away.
