I think "stuck" is actually the wrong word. I was discussing this with my friend (who was there) - and what the city really does is cause you to become complacent. You can get an ok job. You have safety. You live in a first world country. You have the 'envy' of the world for being the most livable city. And put like that it's easy to say, "Well, I'm making a living, I have my health, I can't really complain. Do I really need to see what else is out there?"

For those of you who didn't get to make it, the Roosh V World Tour was great. And despite all the feminist efforts to get it canceled, the Toronto stop seemed to have an especially unique flavor of camaraderie and adventure. In fact, it was exactly because of those efforts that everyone who was a part of the Toronto event (whether they physically went or in any way helped support the cause) was able to bond under the banner of masculinity and common sense during an insane time.

The trip to Toronto was a big adventure for me especially. Mostly because I had never met another forum member outside of my roommate Mark Fletcher. Mark and I arrived at a hotel in Mississauga the day before the lecture, and that night we went to a meet up in downtown Toronto. Despite feminists on twitter claiming that we were "in hiding," a good number of us went out to meet at a nice spot and have some drinks with Roosh.

Before the main meet up that night, my friend and I were able to get together with Geovert and Rudebwoy, who were both good guys to talk to that had a lot of experience. It was about that time--sitting down with two other likeminded, well put-together guys who each had more travel experience than my friend and I combined--that I started to recognize the power of this forum.

We were all painted as virgin losers living in basements hating on women because we never got laid. Yet there we were, sitting at this table, talking about travel stories and life experiences like it was something out of a movie. Those are the kinds of things that keep a man sane these days, and I enjoyed the experience of talking to unapologetic, successful men.

After this, Rudebwoy drove Mark, Geovert and I to the meet up with Roosh, where I met Soma, HighSpeed_LowDrag, Lothario, CH-Toronto, CH-Toronto's friend, Alphaspiration, Gmac, Peregrine, Roosh, Roosh's incredibly intense bodyguard, and a few other guys that I can't remember at the moment. It was a fun time, if a little tense because we were in pubic with Roosh in a DEFCOCK 1 setting. Nevertheless, nothing went down and we all had a good time. Afterwards, Rudebwoy brought Mark and I back to our hotel, showing us a bit of downtown Toronto in the process.

The next day Mark and I ate breakfast and started watching more of the updates about the feminist anti-Roosh protest. It wasn't long after breakfast that we started going over the procedures Roosh had laid out for us in order to make it to the venue without being compromised. Without getting into exactly what went on, there were multiple layers of misinformation and misdirection that led to us being able to safely attend the event in the exact same venue as was originally planned.

There were a good bit of guys at the venue, probably around 50-60. I saw all the guys from the night before, but I also got to meet and talk to other non-forum guys. We swapped complaints about the feminist death strike against us, laughed at the ignorant media, and talked about game adventures, travel, and a host of other topics. The most interesting things I heard were how people found Roosh. There was a lot of variety--one guy found him because he was trying to find anti-feminist stuff, one guy was trying to improve his marriage, one guy wanted to learn how Argentinian girls were before he moved there, and another guy was trying to learn Polish, which landed him on RoK.

The variety of guys who attended the lecture was shocking. There couldn't have been more diversity if it was planned out that way. There were people from all walks of life, from lawyers to students to entertainers. There were all races, all creeds, all nationalities. They had single guys, married guys, guys with kids, guys contemplating marriage, and guys who want to be single forever. There was a 30 year gap between the oldest guy I met to the youngest. The one thing we all had in common was common sense. I did not meet one guy that I wouldn't describe as free thinking and intelligent. Everyone was respectful and nice to meet.

As for the lecture itself:

As others pointed out, it was very wide-ranging. The lecture was representative of how broad Roosh's views are. He spoke honestly and candidly. There were parts of the event that were hilarious (Roosh's recollection of midget gimps in Germany comes to mind), and all of it was extremely enlightening. His extensive experiences following the path of game, location independence, and social awareness were very apparent. Being a pioneer in self-improvement, and following the path of game to near its conclusion, he had a lot of helpful things to say. It was especially helpful to young guys like me who would otherwise have had to take the path and learn the "seasons" of game and manhood the hard way. Roosh has been there and explained clearly and directly how life tends to play out.

Toronto was unique in that the atmosphere, fresh off Montreal and deep in the heart of the last fight in Canada, lent first-hand proof of the things Roosh said in the lecture. It was pure DEFCOCK 1. The more radical things he said about society were proved just by going outside. It was a powerful thing. The fact that so many lies had been hurled our way made this talk that much more necessary.

At one point (and everyone who was there knows what I'm talking about), there was a time when we saw exactly how strong Roosh's impact has been on many men. Keep in mind that some guys discovered Roosh and took certain things, but didn't need the rest because they were already on their way, or naturals in a certain field, or were socially aware already, etc. But some guys found Roosh when they were at rock bottom. Roosh helped these men unleash their manhood, in a time when being a man is frowned upon--when the solution to failure and depression in men is frowned upon. So when that emotional moment came up during the event, it made me angry that the ideas Roosh had were so downplayed. It's nothing short of fucked up how feminists out there downplay the things Roosh has done. The option to even sit down with a guy I can openly talk to without being attacked in every conceivable way exists because of Roosh. But these freaks paint him as a rapist fat-shamer creep, and you should be fired from your job if you associate with him. The insanity in that is unbelievable.

After the very productive Q&A, the victory speech was filmed. (Clearly it was faked though.) Then we had a huge three-course victory meal (despite the media saying we were "in hiding"). We continued talking amongst ourselves as Roosh wandered around the room individually greeting people. In a Fight Club kind of moment, we watched as the media questioned whether or not the event even happened and had a good laugh. There's no kind of male bonding experience quite like attending a systematically-attacked Roosh lecture and watching the feminists whine and bitch and use the media to cast doubt on whether the event happened at all. Good times.

Afterwards, we stormed a nightclub and had a blast doing a guy's night out. No incidents occurred and everyone got to talk to Roosh and thank him for the lecture. I remember shaking his hand as we were leaving and saying "Thanks for doing this. Thanks for having the balls to do this." He replied, "Thank you for giving me the balls to do this." If that isn't a powerful display of humility, I don't know what the fuck is.

After Roosh left, Mark and I stayed around the club and hung out with a couple other guys from the lecture. Two of them were CH-Toronto and his friend, who sold us on going to Columbia this summer. After the night ended I slept for two hours and now I'm in the Dallas airport, so I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot.

The bottom line is I joined a big group of guys who helped become a part of history. We defied the full force of a PC death wave. We were able to ponder serious problems in society and hear Roosh speak. By backing Roosh, we all established, if just for a few hours, a space for us to speak our minds. We cut a breath of fresh air out of the shithole that is Toronto. And Roosh established a gigantic victory over the feminist Leviathan.

Like I said, it was worth every penny. To everyone I met in Toronto, it was awesome meeting y'all.

I heard the speech in NY before but the bolded part and the rest of the Q&A made the trip worth it for me.

With all the level of security and subterfuge, they were no moles but at that point I wished there was one so they could see that Roosh, his writings, and this forum is all about helping men build themselves up. And feminists aren't downplaying Roosh's ideas, they're straight-up misrepresenting them: A speech about the state of men in modern Western society equals rape seminar to them.

There's no support system or guidance for men in the West and Roosh's work fills that void. Most of the Q&A was about neomasculinity, feminism, and societal decline(unlike NYC which was more game and lifestyle-orientated) which is great because it means more men are waking up and the more of us there are the harder it will be for the feminists and media to control the narrative.

And I agree with all else you said but just wanted to add some of my observations about Toronto:

1) I've never seen so many Indian people in one place. It's like they were filming the sequel to Slumdog Millionaire. Roosh's Toronto blog was true.

2) The DJ at the club should've played something else besides his mix tape titled "Billboard Top Rap Hits of 2006".

In other news, the idea of neomasculinity is breaking out because of the lectures. I worked a 14 hour day today and I work with almost 100% men. On a break a friend of mine out of the blue asked a group of us if we had heard about "some guy called Rush five, or something."

My friend has a bitchy girlfriend and she and her friends had been inflamed by the media accounts of the last two weeks and they had been discussing how terrible Roosh is for not being a good little eunuch. This led my friend to look things up for himself-- what he found he liked. He told us he had spent the past few days intentionally pissing off his chick with Pro-Roosh stuff he found online. For our group on break he played the video 36 Things Wrong with American Women. Every guy there nodded their head in agreement throughout.

From there we discussed the media frenzy and the How to Stop Rape article. Again, no dissent from the guys in our group. We ended the break with me directing guys to the website and my friend sending video links to several people via his phone.

Do you smell that? That's the smell of victory.

If he does turn out to be a member, I'd rep him. And yes, the woman saying one out of 2 women is raped is out of touch with reality, so it shouldn't be a huge shock that she is a total bigot as well.

I think feminist endgame is that 1 out of 1 women are raped and that all sex is rape, all men are either rapists or potential rapists and should be punished for having sex with women.

The weekend was great. Glad I made the last-minute decision to join the fun and games after missing out in Montreal. And yes, it really did happen. I don't have much to add to what's already been said except the following:

1) Logistics/accommodation were challenging for us out-of-towners. Local guys such as alphaspiration, rudebwoy, Abnormal, edelfou (and I'm sure others) did an amazing job to help out other attendees and deserve a huge amount of thanks.

2) I've met a fair number of RVF members now and one thing that strikes me is the instant kinship one frequently feels, like hanging out with an old friend even though you've just recently met. The forum really has evolved over the years from simply game and travel discussion to a semi-underground global brotherhood of like-minded men from all walks of life.

What a meet up and what a night of celebrations.Priceless, Unforgettable time we all had last night, In a way I wish the night never ended but I had to drive 10 hrs today and got home a few hrs ago.
