RE: Jeans
I hit up Nordstrom Rack once in a while to see if they have any Rock and Republic or 7 For All Mankinds on sale that suit me.

So far I only have 2 pairs (1 R&R gray with purple details, and a pair of slim-tailored black 7's). Still lookin for that discount pair of blue jeans haha.

These normals are 130-150 but I picked em up for about 80 at the Rack. I suggest checking it out. Getting a hugely-discounted pair of designer jeans (70-80 bucks) and spending the 10-30 to tailor them will make for an excellent look my friend.

Anything less than 60 is crap imo. Anything more than 200 is branding.

I went to a Levis outlet store and got 6 pairs for about 200. I'll try the new outfit tomorrow and see how it works. I tried on boot cut style and didn't like them, had to get some regular straight leg.

That's the 505 right? 6 pairs is more than enough.

I went with 514 slim fit straight leg. Not sure what the model number is for the boot cut but I just dont like how they looked on me. I even made 2 female workers help me with all the styles and we all decided those 514's look the best. To bad they were didn't look that good.

As long as the jeans look good, then the brand really doesn't matter past high school. I do get your point though; Levi's weren't well received when I was growing up. They were the go-to pants that every mother in the South made their sons wear, and honestly I haven't owned a pair since 12 years old. Not to say they haven't improved but I stick with non-flashy, stylish Buckle Lucky Jeans. I also have a half-dozen pairs of polo jeans in my closet that I no longer wear due to outgrowing the bootleg style. I've found that Armani jeans are great quality but they shrink beyond wear past the first wash and Guess jeans look good, but are shitty quality and shrink bad too. Most guys only need 4 pairs of jeans, so for the money I'd rather buy Lucky than anything else. Here's a style I bought recently.

In the UK they are seen as over-priced jeans woren by middle aged men. Though seeing as the fashionable thing at the moment for many guys over here is wear clothes that are so femine you may as well be wearing women clothes or colours that are so vile they resemble puke / shit / snot then you can take that with a pinch of salt I guess. I always opt for straight cut jeans either regular or slim fit, I never wear boots so boot cut is out (they just look silly with anything else), skinny don't suit me.

Depends where you will be going out I imagine. I am from the US, but have lived in Spain for the past 13 yrs. I see American guys wearing baggy jeans and honestly, this shit would not fly at the cool lounges I hang out in cities like Barcelona or Madrid. Guys here are very "Euro" and I have embraced it. Not to be a follower, but I actually think it looks cool. I rock slim dark jeans, black boots, nice custom fit shirts. Girls like that look here. Maybe if I showed up in a bar in Austin, TX, the music would stop...who knows...but in many cities in Europe you will see guys rocking this style. Find what works for you. Attitude is ething when you are wearing clothes. I've seen guys pull mad ass in all types of get ups.

RE: Jeans
Hey man I know you are in college, but save up and buy yhe best jeans you can afford. Girls notice cools jeans before a good shirt.

If you can swing it, i recommend Diesel, they run from around $150-$300, you can get a decent pair for around $180. Make this your going out jeans, you will feel good every time you put them on.

I want some nice ones while spending as little as possible (college student). Any brands or stores y'all can recommend? Do y'all get loose fit, jean cut, etc? I'm skinny so I hate skin tight pants.
