Haha holy fuck, that was hard to watch. Kind of sad how such a nice sweet person like that guy just will get fucked over for being too blue pill.

I personally would like to know what happened at the end of this. I am considering doing the same.

I felt so bad for that guy. It felt like a shot in the gut. He's getting played so bad and he's in total denial. 40k....800 a month. Times ten guys, or more?, and she's basically got the standard of living of royalty. Poor guy.

RE: Wife Hunting Abroad
Okay, I promise I will write up my story this weekend and add it in here, for whatever it's worth.

For the nonce: mid-90s I taught myself conversational Russian. I went to Russia, then out into the provinces, in 1998. I met a LOT of beautiful, intelligent, well-educated, charming, traditional young ladies. I was 29 years old. The dollar was amazingly strong against the ruble at the time. Being an American in Russia was still a novelty, especially outside of Moscow & St. Petersburg. It was like stumbling around in a Brutalist paradise, the city I wound up in (Naberezhnyye Chelny, in the Tatarstan Republic, in case you're curious). I met a lovely lady, four years younger. Went back a few months later, lived there for two months. Brought her and eight-year-old daughter to Florida on K-1/2 visas, and we married in 1999. That lasted until 2017.

The step-daughter quickly learned English, within months. Within a year, my ex had learned English well enough to work in retail. Our daughter together, 15 now, can comprehend Russian thanks to her babushka who lived with us, but kids learn the language of their peers, in school and out, so unless you lock your kid in a room forever, they'll learn English.

The marriage fell apart because of money. It was the Soviet-era attitude of never saving a penny combined with the spend-it-all lifestyle in California. The marriage was doomed.

I'll expand on all this in a couple days. But I'd do it again now, as a 51 year old man, having learned a few lessons - could probably make the next one last until a ripe old age.

Thanks for the quick story, interested to hear more in a couple of days.

I wonder what Solitaire's opinion of Russia or the FSU is, especially regarding women, now.

Get your passport ready!

RE: Wife Hunting Abroad
Thanks for the responses, guys. Here's the thread I've started re: my personal journey https://www.rooshvforum.com/thread-74224.html

I'll add to it as I'm able, over the course of this week. I tend not to half do things, this being no exception - I want to put the whole story out there, not to mention I enjoy writing, so this will be a good exercise for me.
