Yeah its not benign because they've yet to poke fun at Hillary Clinton even slightly -- who is a rich target for comedy. They can no longer claim to be neutral and making fun of everyone equally. The show is now a hit piece. They can go suck a fat sweaty dick.

Exactly.

Clinton comes off 10 times better and hardly any jokes about her - there could a gazillion.

Also I repeat that the SJWs come off way too good and too masculine.

There are infinite ways of how to make fun of all groups equally - even pick-up artists, MGTOWs as well as traditional religious men and women. There are even ways of doing it funny.

But they are obviously centered pretty far left.

When they make fun of Bruce Jenner and his mental illness, they are just leftists from the 1990s, who did not go much further than that.

The new Left by the way will squash almost all humor - if any joke somewhere somehow insults or offends anyone, then it is gone. Comedy will probably disappear if the radical left has it's way.

It will go the same way as comedy in some communist countries went. When the state came down hard on comedians, it was almost impossible to make fun of anything that was funny for the people - usually the bleak economic and political situation. And the remaining topics simply were not interesting enough and the art form itself was almost dead.

So Southpark is clever anti-PC propaganda, that is still far left indoctrination.

South Park is trash. I don't know why people of my generation give these guys so much slack. They aren't clever, hardly ever funny, and way too over the top.

The idea that they would be "on our side" is laughable.

All politics aside, I have to wonder something about South Park: where did the jokes go? Season 20 simply does not have much humor.

Knew it might go in this direction, clearly were caught off guard by the election results. I must watch south park with rose tinted glasses on, or maybe ive eaten some member berries recently, but anyway the last 2 episodes have certainly put the nail in the coffin for me. Dont think I can view Matt and Trey the same ever again, they were always so good at picking the neutral side or coming up with a funny twist to stuff, but that was not the case this time round.

After 20 years- letting Clinton "off easy" was the biggest misstep they ever took.

They attacked Scientology
They attacked Muhammad
They couldn't attack Hillary. What a shame. Unless it's set-up for a brutal take-down in the final episodes, but I doubt it.

This is a ridiculous thing to say. You must have missed the first 15 seasons. South Park is an epic, legendary show. Yea this season sucks balls but it takes nothing away from how great the show was for so many years. Unless you're talking specifically about this season.

Jesus christ some of you guys are sounding like triggered SJWs because they're making fun of "your guy" way more than "the other guy", as if Trey and Matt have some obligation to be a Trump dickrider. They're definitely leaving a lot of great comedy on the table this season but maybe they're just over it.

I dont think we want them to be a "Trump dickrider" but rather to go after the cunt and Bill abit harder, there is so much material they couldve used especially in reference to wikileaks. Instead they let them off with a mild insult "turd sandwich" , which is only a reference to a much older episode, and a very shy implication of child molestation on bills behalf (through his association to bill cosby). You are accusing the RVF fanbase for being triggered SJWs, but tbh id point that accusation squarely at Matt and Trey.

Only One, they have an obligation to be equal opportunity if they want to keep their reputation as being "outside the system" mockers of everyone. When they have Trump being mocked in every single episode, and Hillary conpletely untouched, they aren't producing comedy but propaganda too. So stop talking horse shit.

I imagine they would be mocking Hillary and Bill a lot more if she had won the election. Yea the Trump stuff isn't funny and honestly just comes across as lazy but I would hardly call it propaganda.

Geeze a bit of a Southpark fanboy? If Matt and Trey went full Clinton and LGBT retard it sounds like you would be cool with it too.

The show is dangerously close to jumping the shark. Whether you care or not the more the latest Hollywood fights Trump and his vision the more regular viewership is going to get turned off and ignore the show.

I'm frankly getting fed up with television and other forms of entertainment being so far left it's nauseating. I stopped watching Modern Family after the grandpa was concerned about having a black friend and I'm about to stop watching Southpark for the very same reasons.

The need to get some Maga and go back to what made them funny. Its obvious they got their dicks all hard for broadway and the show has subsequently suffered.

RE: Latest South Park on political correctness.
I normally enjoy South Park a great deal & setting aside the dud political humour they've presented this season.
Even the other main subject of internet trolling hasn't been implemented with their usual level of savvy & cleverness that they've employed with many other subjects.
Maybe they were waiting too much on the outcome of the election as opposed to just doing their own thing from the outset.
Yet if this whole season doesn't have some big payoff (especially this whole 'Member Berries thing), season 20 will surprisingly be one other their most 'low-energy' efforts.

Hopefully South Park can turn it around soon. I haven't had the chance to watch their most recent episodes, but I definitely remember their classic ones.

I didn't watch Season 19 outside of the Safe Space episode and the one about the wall. Are the other episodes any good, or just average?

Parker and Stone had a great idea with the persistent storyline across each season's episodes, but they ruined it by inserting so many competing sub-plots that it made it impossible to create a coherent understanding of just what the hell was going on. It didn't help that Trump getting elected meant they basically had to jettison the entire script for the second half of the season and come up with something new pretty much on-the-fly.

Then as a result.
I find I'm more-so waiting for something to happen in season 20, as opposed to just laughing along with the absurdity.

It may be one thing to have small references to past events or small reappearances from minor characters from past events.
Yet when storylines span whole seasons, there better be plenty of meat on the bones.

RE: Latest South Park on political correctness.
Matt and Trey, like so many other self-proclaimed Libertarians, showed their asses this election. Last season, just when it appeared they would demolish SJWs and PC culture, they pulled a reversal and tried to find some fluffy middle ground where PC people are "just trying to help," avoiding the reality that PC people are thought police who despise free speech.

This season, they went with the douche and turd theme for an election that was anything but that. This made sense back in 2004 when it was Kerry vs Bush. This election? Not so much. But even with that theme, they all but endorsed Hillary Clinton. At the end of the last episode prior to election day, Garrison looked dead in the camera and told everyone to vote for Clinton. As others have said, they ignored every negative aspect of Hillary and went full throttle against Trump. And not even in a way that would be remotely funny like having the City Wok guy build the wall. Instead, they use the same lame mainstream dialogue of leftist news outlets, making them sound like snarky Huff Post writers rather than comedians.

This is going to cost them, and maybe that's what they want. Perhaps they're finished with the show and letting other, younger writers take over and pretty much sabotaging it themselves. Who knows. But it's clear that the aspects of the show that attracted both myself and others on this forum has disappeared. I am done with South Park after having been a fan of the show since it began. It's too bad, but I have better things to do with my time than watch a show under the stranglehold of left wing ideology.

RE: Latest South Park on political correctness.
I have watched this show religiously for 19 and 1/2 seasons. Never missed an episode. This is the only show I can say this about. I have never been more devoted to one show in my life, not even close. I even watched the Spirit of Christmas episode that floated around the internet way back in 1996. We didn't even know what it was, but it was funny as hell. 9 months later I see an add on TV showing those same characters on Comedy Central for a new show starting in the fall of 1997. I was hooked.

But this season has killed it for me. We had one great candidate and maybe the worst candidate in the history of our country. And South Park went out of its way to endorse Hillary as strongly as possible. This after waiting all of season 19 for them to finally crush the PC movement, and in the end they make them seem some what reasonable.

I doubt I ever watch it again. It isn't entertaining, ground breaking, funny, or worth my time. They can push their libtard agenda without me watching it.

RE: Latest South Park on political correctness.
Had the chance to see most of season 20 back to back recently.
It does help the overall status.
It is interesting to see in hindsight that Matt & Trey of all people weren't savvy enough to see that The Cunt would lose.
Yet it's clear that the Trump victory threw their original plans into disarray.

Bill & Bill's Gentleman's Club? No more.
The Member Berries? Absent last episode.
J.J.Abrahms? Forgotten as well.
Even Cartman has little time to turn around & reign hell on Heidi.

As stated, they'll need a big payoff to justify it all. & a big Rick Roll may not be enough in 2016.

Matt, Trey. In season 21. Make South Park great again.

RE: Latest South Park on political correctness.
Anyone watch The Simpsons anymore? I watched it religiously when I was a kid, loved the show. But something happened with the show. Actually that's not true. Something had happened with US culture. Older people tell me The Simpsons caused an uproar when it first screened. Bush senior wanted it ban, an older lady I know said she hated the show because it was the first time on television kids talked back so strongly (Bart). Now The Simpsons come across as mild.

South Park reminds me of the same trend. Super edgy and funny when it came, now it feels out of touch. This is the fate of all entertainment forms - sooner or later it goes stale. The creators run out of creative juices, get bored or simply are out of touch. People who make their success being an outside slowly influence the culture enough to become an insider. And then actual outsiders look like oddballs. Incredibly rare is the person who can produce something high-quality for over 20 years. It seems South Park has reached that stage. It'll probably go on for a few more years, but the spark is gone.

My prediction: we're going to see a revival of WHOLESOME entertainment. In the new Trump era where family, community and nation once again take center stage, in contrast to completely degeneracy, movies and shows that promote wholesome values will skyrocket in ratings. The end of Modern Family, Girls and whatever negative crap is here, we're going back to Full House style entertainment - shows you can actually watch with your kids (TrumpBabyBoom) without having to worry about explaining homosexuality, sex and violence.

This realization hit me yesterday when I was bored. I didn't want to watch any of the new shows. Instead I watched the Mighty Ducks. For the simple reason I wanted to watch a movie that didn't involve some dumb SJW ideology. It felt great. I can't be the only one longing for simple movies like that.

Not happening. - redbeard in regards to ETH flippening BTC

RE: Latest South Park on political correctness.
Looking back, whenever South Park used to do a story over three episodes it ended up great. The Coon, Imaginationland, Game of Thrones.

Watching this season, I remember thinking to myself mid way through episode 2: "Whaaa, this story is going to three parts? It's nowhere near strong enough."

Then later, I figured they probably wanted a set up ready to go for election season. If they have the characters in place, they can riff on them based on current events in the election arena.

It hasn't really turned out so good for them. This season won't be a high point for the show. Last season was epic. One of the best ever.

South Park was always like this - hit and miss. The hits are incredibly good. The misses are like: "meh, that concept didn't really work. I wonder what they'll do next week."

Haven't watched most of Season 20.

Season 19 was pretty good.

The political social parodies, the good ones, are obviously epic, but they need to produce some original stuff as well, or at least timeless...
Scott Tenorman Must Die
Cartmanland
Casa Bonita
Le Petit Tourette
...to name a few

I just hope its possible to integrate Sofia Vergera in low-cut tops into wholesome family entertainment.
