I'm gonna say he deserves it for losing his cool, it will be a good lesson to keep him from fucking up again. Didn't he punch a woman in the head? He doesn't get sympathy from me when he loses some business over it.

Hasn't he already served his punishment over the incident in the US? A man should be able to get on with his life and make a living. When he got in trouble he was only 19 years old...how many us did stupid shit aged 19?

Quote:A plea deal has been reached between Los Angeles prosecutors and pop star Chris Brown, who is accused of assaulting singer Rihanna before the Grammy Awards.

Brown will plead guilty to a felony and receive six months in jail or community labor -- such as graffiti removal or trash pickup -- and five years' formal probation. He will also undergo domestic violence counseling. Judge Patricia Schnegg said he will be allowed to complete counseling, community labor and probation in his native Virginia, but is to be treated there like any other offender.

There's plenty of other musicians that have done worse shit than Chris Brown, look at the late Rick James for example:

Rick James Gets Out of Jail, His Fiancée Goes In (story from 1996)

Quote:"Superfreak" Rick James was all set to marry fiancée Tanya Hijazi when he left California's Folsom State Prison Wednesday, but there was one little catch. Although the singer is finally free after more than two years, his bride-to-be is now behind bars.

Hijazi, the mother of James' 4-year-old son, was arrested Monday for allegedly shoplifting a pair of boots in Northern California. The former model is in the Marin County jail pending a hearing.

Hijazi was with James in 1993 when he invited a woman into a hotel room for a business meeting. According to prosecutors, after the meeting ended, James--coming down from a cocaine binge--bound and beat the woman for 12 hours. James, who was out on bail for an earlier assault charge when the incident occurred, was convicted of assault and holding the woman against her will. Hijazi pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to two years. In 1994, a jury awarded the victim $2 million in damages in a civil lawsuit.

James has reportedly written 400 songs while in prison and is heading back to the studio to record.

If we started banning musicians who act like dicks in their personal life, there wouldn't be much music left...

Supposedly, Australia wants to ban Chris Brown from performing because he pleaded guilty to domestic violence in 2009. And according to the article, Canada (not surprising) also stopped him from holding a series of concerts.

Personally, I think domestic violence is an absolutely despicable crime to commit, but banning someone from singing in your country because of it, seems like an extreme measure to take.

Maybe they just suspected that Roosh V was going to open for him.

Australian guys told me that cities such as Sydney and Melbourne are feministic cities. No surprise that he got banned.

May be I am Paranoid but don't you guys think that's another way to subdue the Stronger Alpha Male by the establishment. Anyone with a criminal record have a hard time travelling Huh

I know a few RVF members were not able to travel to even Canada because they had something on the record. Granted what Chris Brown did was wrong, he got served for it but this thing will stick with him costing bread and freedom of movement.

What's next me getting a criminal record for cold approaching a girl, girl calling police and the Incident gets on my record as sexual harassment, me loosing my job unable to travel etc etc.

Generally if you have a criminal record, it's nearly impossible to enter Australia legally. Non-celebrities get denied all the time, this is just a high profile case so we hear about it in the news.

The useless online petition notwithstanding, the department of immigration is likely to deny his visa anyway.

RE: Chris Brown denied entry to Australia
Yes, this isn't really news. Most countries generally don't like the idea of granting visas to individuals with criminal records, especially violent ones.

While this sucks for any innocents who are unfairly convicted, Chris Brown specifically, probably doesn't deserve our sympathy.

Rather than rallying for more freedom of movement for those who really did commit a crime and are living with the consequences of doing so, we should be fighting for proper due course in the millions of dubious domestic violence cases where there is absolutely no evidence of violence.

Its cheap political points. You saw the same thing happen when Roosh got slammed by the mayors and other political figures in Canada.

They ask 'Is there anything to be gained by taking a stance against this foreigner?' - Yes, you can be seen to be pro-women without the expenditure of resources and without losing votes.

If people protest they get shouted down by the SJWs for being pro-violence.

No-one seriously considers Chris Brown to be a threat to Australian citizens while he's touring in this country. Politicians gonna politick.

Not sure what the argument is here. Australia, just like any other country, has the right to deny entry to anybody that they don't want in their country. Many countries don't allow violent felons to visit.

Canada is extremely strict as well, any mention of a dui on your record while crossing the border and they'll refuse entry.
