It is simply the universal "take care of ourselves first" instinct that applies to right-wingers everywhere, from Malaysia to Mexico. Those right-wingers just happen to be white. You could just as soon call it "white right" -- and if they're being honest and forthright they probably should. And if they go beyond that into "white supremacy", then that's covered by "far right". All the definitions are already covered.

And guys who knee-jerk hate on other right-wing speakers "because they're Jewish" like Shapiro or "because they're gay" like Milo are not a special type of right-wing, they're just morons. The right-wing has its share of morons too, just not as many. It stands to reason: when you're criticizing what someone says because of who they are, instead of what they're saying, you're by definition not ideologically distinguishing yourself.

Sometime in 2015 "altright" became synonymous with White nationalist. That did not seem to be the case before last year.

If the French revolution taught me anything it's that whenever you have a widespread reform movement you'll have all sorts of factions and parallel ideologies coming out of the woodwork to claim it as their own.

Out of those factions you'll also have some misanthropes and actual extremists trying to push the boundaries as far as they can into the fringe. This means you'll have various people trying to "purify" it for their cause through various means. In the age of the internet this means mostly anonymous sniping on twitter. They are using the same tactics SJWs use to dogpile on people instead of debating with reason or logic. Thankfully they just lack access to a guillotine..

There's lots of rational points of view in altright but there is definitely a hijacking process that is going on right now.

Striving for ideological purity at all costs is like the road to hell that is paved with good intentions.

"Alt-Right" is a great term; but then again, so was "Men Going Their Own Way."

Yep, I listened to the stream where that was proposed, it's fantastic that he's going through with it.

He's also apparently put up $25k of his own cash to start it off.

RE: Milo Yiannopoulos Thread
I was at Milo's lecture tonight. Some highlights:

- Milo starting off his talk by talking about how "Big Daddy just killed it in New Hampshire" referring to Trump's big win in the state primary. Banana

- Was talking to some other people in line and we were all wondering where the protesters were since we all had heard rumors that there would be a protest of some sort. About 10 - 15 minutes in the lecture some people started disrupting Milo's talk and began screaming about what a huge homophobe, racist, etc. he was and started to smear themselves with red paint. These people (mostly girls) eventually got throw out and marched out screaming curse words at the audience with their fists raised high

- There was a row of black girls that kept trying to yell over Milo when he was talking, especially when he would bring up the Black Lives Matter movement and talked about how racially divisive it was. He also told blacks to start voting for their own interests and to stop voting for Democrats lol

- To add even more hilarity, some soft ass chubby SJW dude during the Q&A was lecturing Milo about how some study showed that people of all different races have a perception of black females being more loud and boisterous then other people and how it proved that there's racial bias against them. Milo didn't out right say "hey it could be true" but was hinting towards it. Funny thing is that right at this lecture there was indeed a row of loud black girls that kept trying to disrupt his points.

- One of the rachet black girls screamed out "Wikipedia is not a source" during one of Milo's claims. A while later in the back screamed "Tumblr isn't a source either!"

- The event calmed towards the end but the beginning was a fricking hell of a ride. Lots of clapping, shouting, hooting, and people yelling at each other to sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. At one point there was a "Black Lives Matter" chant which then got drowned out by a "TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP" chant lol

- As we were leaving the lecture, a bunch of the protesters were standing outside in a line with their fists raised high. I was thinking about marching by them while goose stepping but wimped out.

- Milo brought up the migrant crisis in Europe and he didn't pussy foot around with it. He said there's a problem with radical Islam and that these people had no place in Western society and such people should be deported.

- Milo said he thinks 2016 is when a lot of the social justice nonsense will go down in flames. Might be a bit optimistic but based on how many people showed up and the conversations I was having in a place that's supposed to be the epicenter of leftist progressive indoctrination I think there will definitely be a complete swing in the opposite direction for the pendulum within the next 1-3 years. The people I was talking to were in their teens or early 20s and there's a very prominent anger about all the authoritarianism going on today with the left. Even the people who said they thought Milo was an asshole still said they agreed with a lot of his platform, they just hate his instigating and trolling and attention seeking.

RE: Milo Yiannopoulos Thread
http://www.dailytargum.com/article/2016/...-to-campus

"While journalist Milo Yiannopoulos spoke about "the myth" of the wage gap and the pitfalls of feminism, student protestors in the audience at Scott Hall stood up and smeared fake blood on their faces in opposition.

About 50 students sat in the audience to protest Yiannopoulos's University visit, which kicked off his “Dangerous Faggot” tour. Yiannopoulos, senior editor at conservative news site breitbart.com, is known for his controversial statements about feminism, race and political correctness.

After screaming, “This man represents hatred,” an anonymous female student smeared what appeared to be blood over her face and arms. About 10 others soon followed, and then left the room together. Roughly 40 protestors stayed for the remainder of the event. "

Milo Tweeted something about adding Australia to his Dangerous Faggot tour.

After the hysteria here in regards to Roosh possibly having a VISA or not.
I wonder if they'd risk similar hysteria with Milo?

The politicians here aren't the most hip / up to date crowd; so the easy mocking of homophobia levelled at the government,
may well mean they don't even risk that drama.

I like what the alt right are doing, I was getting involved on twitter but then with the Roosh thing I've seen how some of the extreme ones lump everyone into stereotypes.

It's possible they're trolling but not sure. RamzPaul is supposedly associated with it but I've seen some of them trying to throw him under the bus because "he's a Jew".

Judging someone by race alone is a sure sign of a simple, closed mind.

On the Alt-Right debate...

I wasn't really online much for the last month, but I didn't miss that several people from the Alt-Right attacked you. But I also saw several people from the Alt-Right come to your defense against them. So to me it seems like the "movement" is split on this and I'm not aware of any prominent representative that attacked you. So correct me if I'm wrong but did really the movement as such attack you? Lots and lots of people from the alt-right support Trump and Putin. Shiksa Goddess, who does have lots of fans from the alt-right, didn't just attack you but she also attacked Trump and Putin - and got heat for it. Just because certain people of the group attacked you doesn't mean the whole movement is against you. If a group of Trump supporters would say something racist about Ben Carson, would that mean he the shouldn't offer to be Trump's VP? I feel like a good proportion of your readers consider themselves to be alt-right, including me (and I became it through this very forum... and /pol/), so I hope you don't reject us all just because there are some idiots amongst us.

Thanks for posting that. I love Milo and I plan on attending his event in Ann Arbor, Michigan later this month with my daughter. These people that hate his trolling need to get their heads wrapped around the reality of the culture war. Milo is on the front lines, just like Roosh, Vox Day, and Mike Cernovich. And, of course, the indomitable Donald J. Trump. For those that hate on the trolling of these brave men, I have a quote from founding father Samuel Adams...

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your fortune nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may history forget that ye were ever our countrymen.”

And Ramzpaul does a great job of discouraging not just attacks against Roosh, but all activity from what Ramzpaul calls the "14/88" crowd. Another thing I just remembered. At one point Milo asked "who here hates me?" and quite a few hands went up. After that Milo asked who here believed in the ridiculous notion of a college campus rape epidemic that rivals rape rapes in the Congo as he put it - the whole 1 in 5 women are sexually assaulted ridiculousness. No hands went up thankfully.

Milo also said at one point that anyone who asks for a safe space on a college campus should be expelled. lol

EDIT: And here's the video where he says the above statement

1) You say you had to look it up... so then - is what you say about Rockwell (him being a supremacist) something that you read about him (like the world read about Roosh that he supposedly advocates rape), or did you come to that conclusion by your own critical thinking after having read some of what he wrote/listened to his speeches on youtube? I don't know much about him but saw a speech of him once on /pol/ and it didn't seem supremacist to me, so I'm skeptical.

2) How do you interpret the 14 words? Do these words - without thinking about who has supposedly coined them - in and of themselves express any idea that could be seen as an attack against any other kinds of people living on this planet? Or do you interpret them in the way that those using them want to make sure that their descendants can have a good life for themselves? And is that a bad thing to wish for?

3) What do you personally think does the "88-sign" represent to the people who use it? Are you aware that there are a lot of people out there who have a much different understanding of history than what is usually taught? Do you believe the people who use it are all in favour of everything that is said to have happened during the time in which the respective person was in power? Or do you mediate that these people might think of something completely different than what you have in mind when talking about the subject? How intensively have you studied and researched the history of Europe of the last 150 years?

I haven't actually seen Ramzpaul actively distance himself from the 14/88ers who follow him. I've heard him say that he thinks it's silly because it's a time long gone, the man is dead, and we should just focus on the future. But he does support nations/countries for white people, so I don't think he has an issue with the 14-part.

Personally, I dislike most of what I've read from these types. I visited SF once and was quickly turned off. Lots of them seem like bitter, unpleasant and oftentimes unsuccessful people. Some of them seem to actually be supremacists and neonazis. My guess is that Ramzpaul sees them in a similar light which is why he doesn't encourage them to associate with him. Those who still do so, could very well be false flag-posters.
A big part of the Alt-Right on the other hand encompasses regular conservative white nationalists who have a sense of humour (see /pol/, at least what it used to be) and self-respect. Ramzpaul talks about the subject very accurately and you're right, I think he shows excellent leadership in this movement.

Why the blood though? I get it when PETA does it, but what does Milo do that could be associated with blood? Do they even think of how to protest or do they just copy something supposedly outrageous that got one of their freak-mates the most attention?

"Hey shitlib, the blood-thing is what the animal-rights groups do, what are you red for? Do your eggs wander?"

Probably not best to try and understand these people, it's clearly just severe brain damage, they don't follow rational predictable behaviour.
