Where Do You Get Your Threads?
I noticed style is a frequent topic of discussion here, so I was wondering, where do you get your threads?

For example

Name: The Gap
Style: American Herb
Price: $

Some of mine:

Name: Bonobos
Style: Quirky Preppy
Price: $$$

Name: Brooks Brothers
Style: WASPy Old Man
Price: $$$

Name: J. Crew
Style: Pseudo-rugged/emaciated hipster prep
Price: $$

Name: Polo (my favorite)
Style: British Aristocrat / modern and sleek
Price: $$-$$$$

Just copy paste this:

I'm looking to mix up my style a bit. Looking especially for stuff that's not too expensive but is stylish.

Malls clothes have no character, and Rodeo Drive boutiques are out of my price range for now. And for some reason, the patterns on cheaper brands always look shitty and low-class - I can pick out a Ross Dress for Less plaid from a nice Ralph Lauren check a mile away. Definitely looking for a good source of bold flannel/plaid shirts.

RE: Where Do You Get Your Threads?
Name: J Press
Style: Preppy with good design features, great accessories belts.
Price: $$$-$$$$

Name: American Apparel
Style: Hipster basics, v necks, etc. Good selection but not great value for money. J. Crew probably a better option.
Price: $$

Name: Uniqlo
Style: Quality basics in lots of colour ways at great prices. Some more designed stuff in the J+ range
Price: $-$$$

Name: Murray's Toggery Shop
Style: Summer vacation WASP; embroidered shorts and needlepoint belts.
Price: $$-$$$

Name: Ralph Lauren Rugby
Style: Sporty preppy. Good blazers and trousers.
Price: $$$

Name: Pink
Style: Good shirts, but you'll get better value with shirtmakers on Jermyn St in London.
Price: $$$$

When I know exactly what I'm looking for I'll often find it on ebay.

Has anyone bought made to measure shirts online? I've looked at the Savile Row Shirt company. Any recommendations?
