Guys like Yareally
Any info on blogs or anything from guys like Yareally? I always found his story and style impactful, as well as the fact that he doesn't try to take a PUA Coach/God perspective promising a perfect world for you. I found this guy to be real. Anyone else like him out there?

RE: Guys like Yareally
I'm a YaReally fan as well. I remember scrolling through all the old Roissy posts back when I first got into game, looking for comments from him, Days of Broken Arrows, Virgle Kent, PA, etc. The comments sections from '07-'09 were often as good as Roissy's posts themselves. Nowadays it's mostly a troll-infested race-baiting circle jerk, unfortunately.

Anyway, I take it you've seen the YaReally Archive? Lots of good stuff there from his comments all over the 'sphere.

The only similar personality I can think of is Krauser, which I'd highly recommend checking out if you haven't already, particularly if you're interested in day gaming.

RE: Guys like Yareally
Thanks, man. I really appreciate the reply. He really does have a workable understanding of the game so much so that he seems to incorporate it into his interactions with other members on the board. It's really interesting to observe.

I'll definitely check out what Krauser's about.

What I really like are the guys who try to keep misanthropy out of their game. I know it works for some guys but personally, I find it easier to get along with people when you don't hate them...guys like Alex from RSD for example; you could tell he is really good natured. If anyone is wondering where he went, he's on Instagram with a photography business. Still makin a killing out in the field

Working my way through his archive. He links to a lot of pua boards. Which is a good thing. He definitely comes off as a pua God though. Most of the modern game tech comes from stuff get figured out 10-15 years ago. And by figured out, they came at the game more scientifically, which you can't do in the Trump era.

It hadn't occurred to me that new guys weren't reading the classic material.

RE: Guys like Yareally
I think there is a time and a place for serious game scholarship, but I think that sometimes guys hit that shit too early and it makes game into something that it isn't for them.

I know for me the best thing I did was get on this forum and figure out that you can get laid despite not being a super renaissance man like mystery and style. DOn't get me wrong, I appreciate those guys and their groundwork, but coming at the game with too much of an academic mind makes it harder than it needs to be for new guys like myself. I know that makes me sound like a lazy fuck, but I think that finding mystery method before RVF set me back a bit because it was all too much. In my 18 year old mind I was like, "oh shit, I have to think about all this shit AND be cool!?!?!." It was like reading advanced chess tactics when I hadn't even learned what each piece did. It gave me wrong impression of what getting laid was.

BUT I do think that the serious game scholarship is worth a read once guys understand how to get girls just by doing the basics: look good, approach, vibe and (hopefully) close. Once a guy gets to that point he is ready to start making the game scientific and really learn to work sets and stuff. I love reading YaReally's posts because you can tell he's a true student of the game and sees shit that a guy like me doesn't even know exists.

Thanks for posting the archives. Just read through some of his texting strategy. Good stuff and even though it's 4-5 years old I think alot of it is still applicable today.

Damn shame.

Over at Rationale Male, right? It was a long time coming. He had been getting the same pointless criticisms over and over from the same guys and he kept warning them that it wasn't flying, and wasn't worth it to interact with them if they kept ignoring what he was saying. I don't blame him for running out of patience.

There is more than enough info on his archive though.

Most of what I read from him was on the archive itself, didn't realize he was getting so much heat in the other comments. I just hope whoever is paying for the archive hosting keeps it up, definitely gold.

I couldn't agree more. I can't knock on Mystery Method too much, cause that seminal book "The Game", got me into this journey to begin with and push my boundaries. At the same time, I can say confidently that before I found Roosh's blog and other deeper game thinkers like the ones on this forum, I wasted a lot of time, energy, and precious forming years on these dogmatic techniques that got me very little marginal return on my efforts.

The holistic approach that is preached by many on this forum has immense benefits to game and life, but for a very frustrated and desperate man, such long term approaches don't catch the attention the same way as a "go do x and get y" mentality, using perceived sheer force of will.

Inner value, inner game, logistics, lifestyle, health/strength, outer game. More or less in that order.

Kind of sucks that my realization of this has parralelled with the dating scene in the US being more toxic than ever. I have a nice enough LTR anyways, but if that should fail I sincerely don't feel worried at all. I know where to go and what moves to make to move forward, and in the mean time I'm all about self improvement. I still have huge, huge problems to overcome personally, but I know the endstate and as the cliche goes... knowing is half the battle.

Bumping this thread...have Googled pretty extensively but can't seem to find "The Book of YaReally" anywhere for download. All the links I find are garbage. Anyone know where to get it? PM me if necessary--will to buy the book if I need to.

Thanks.

The Book of YaReally for download. It should be free anyways as it's just a compilation of his posts.
