RE: Girls who ask your age
Nice bump on an older, but interesting thread.

I've noticed the thing with the online girls not knowing my age either. And, I have been meeting up with a lot of girls from dating sites.

I can only recall two girls (both in California) who made my age an issue. They both asked how old I was when we first met up. I told them the truth, directly (I'm approaching mid-30s, btw). Both girls made a face and a comment like it was an issue - "I don't normally date guys as old as you" like that. In both cases, I just shrugged and made it seem like it was no big problem and I'm going to go. All of a sudden, it wasn't a problem at all and they wanted to continue with whatever we were doing. And, it didn't come up again.

I've taken to the same approach in real life gaming as well. If she asks my age, I just say it. I'm direct. I don't act offended or angry or anything. I'm nonchalant about it. If she makes a comment, I just shrug it off, almost like I didn't hear it. If she makes it a problem, I go with the attitude of "Whatever, I have better stuff to do anyway" and I make it appear I am moving on. Usually, not always, this turns it around and they have to start qualifying themselves to you - explaining why you should stay. Obviously, there has to be some rapport to make this happen. But, if you just met the girl, why do you care enough to lie?

"How old do you want me to be?"

The girls/women with a hard comeback to that tend to be toxic.

If you're late 20s/early 30s you could use this (credit to Tom Torero):

"I'm 45 but I got some really good plastic surgery."

If it won't matter in 30 years, it doesn't matter now.

"I am too old for you."

Problem solved.

Only three ways to do something: "The right way. The wrong way. Or my way. Obviously my way is best."

I like this one the best. It directly flips the disqualification back on her, but very simply.

I've done the "guess" thing a number of times, and it never seems to play out favorably. They usually guess a couple years lower, so pretty much dead on. Then it's inevitably my turn and I guess way off. Some girls get genuinely butthurt when you guess older than their actual age. I know the whole "guess" method is supposed to be playful, but I've found it rather clunky, and you just end up revealing the information she's after any way. I'd rather bypass the whole shit test with something like the above. If she keeps pushing, then I think I'll try changing the subject.

Actually this one is a better variant:

https://www.rooshvforum.com/thread-15809...#pid266483

Quote:never say "I am too old for you". say "you are too young for me". then start giving them shit about playing with barbie dolls and coloring books. they will get upset and start qualifying. at this point your age is no longer a problem, and might even be an advantage.

So I get drunk girls I'm gaming at nightclubs sometimes pressing me to tell them how old I am. Had one girl a few weeks ago play the "Me and my friend have a bet going about guessing how old you are..." (she was trying to pawn me off on her fat buddy.) Sometimes they just drop apropos of nothing "So how old are you?" during conversation - naturally if I did the same thing they'd likely get offended...Dodgy

I try to always give them shit for it one way or another. "Ah, very polite. Do you want my odometer reading also? Should I get you the Carfax?" They'll usually laugh at that, but sometimes can be...insistent.

So how do you handle that moving forward? Cave and tell the truth if they insist? Keep trying to be indirect? Huh

Ask the question back. Or ask them why do they need to know your age?

I understand the playful angle, and can visualize how that would blend into a fun conversation. But I have difficulty with aggressive women. So, regarding the ones that come at you guns blazing with an immediate "How old are you?":

Once you shut her down, where do you take the conversation from there? Tricks/games, stories, questions, or just make observations about her? And are tactics different if the girl asking is the target or the target's friend?

Her: “How old are you?”

Me: “How old is the oldest guy you’ve ever slept with?”

It’s about 50/50.

The problem here isn't really age in this scenario.

If a chick *opens* you with how old are you, she's coming at your throat. Its 100% aggressive and hostile. Even if she says it in a playful tone.

That is very different than a chick having a good time after you open her, and then asks your age. That's a chick that is interested in you on some level, and how you handle the question both intellectually and emotionally can change how she feels about you.

So the age old response to the second scenario is
1) smirk and
2 say, "Guess"

That gets her in a defensive posture, and you play with the response.

The scenario where a chick comes out guns blazing, she's *using* you for a laugh.

Girls know the social rules, and asking that question is question.

Just asking the question is about undermining how you feel about yourself. If you're too young, or too old, she gets to sit in judgment and you get to feel self conscious.

Pure evil, looking innocent.

You can respond exactly the same, but not with the same mindset.

But a chick that comes at you like that, you can match her venom and cloak your dagger when you go for her heart.

I actually think using emotion in your game is crucial, but I think you need to be strategic.

I think you need to respond to her by making the same sort of veiled attack at her.

So if she looks 25, you say

What are you 31, I'm three years older than you.

If that is not an option,

What are you like 33% body fat? I'm 33+2

5'2"? 62 inches

145 lbs? 20% is..

That's if you go negative.

In this situation

Where's your friend?
*put your arm around her*
And walk over to wherever the friend is
"So your friend says you like older men, or is she the one"
"Don't we make a cute couple"

You get the basic idea.

The point is that you have to take her mean little bit of fun and change the dynamic so that you are driving the encounter the way you want it to go.

What they teach in the books is surface level game.

She says this, I say that.
I do this, she reacts in predetermined ways.

That's surface level game. Good enough for government work, but we have all seen how flowchart game can get you fucked up. Its good for beginners, but most don't realize that there is more beyond it.

Surface level game only gets you so far, but at some point you're going to have to use your senses and your feelings. Think of your emotions as thoughts that you have difficulty articulating, but YOU KNOW SOMETHING is there.

Just wanted to point that out
