They need a few MOABs up their arse to tell them what pecking order they are in the world. Hardliners in that country are worse than neocons in the US.

All their actions are doing is empowering Shia groups and making NATO and US look bad. The US can negotiate and trade oil and gas in the ME without Israel but they seem to be always following Israel orders and making the place more difficult to do business and keep peace.

If one thing in that area should be done is isolating them from western powers, it might force them to be more cooperative and less likely to stab people in the back as often as they're doing.

Do you mean Sunni? Shias are Hezbollah and the Iranians (and many Syrians/Iraqis.) Not Israel's biggest allies.

Sunnis are being helped by them and this empowers the Shia groups like Hezbollah.

We're seen to be helping Sunnis a lot more than Shia so when we want to bring people to the table to talk its all about how one group - the Shia, must give a pound of flesh to appease some group or country.

Assad must be removed from power they say. And replaced by whom and what power? It certainly won't be good for Alawites and Shia's.

Examples: Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan.
