RE: The Orthodox Church
I get the impression that God doesnt really like highly refined societies. For example the most civilized sections of the Christian world were the places scoured by Islam like all the former places of the Byzantine Empire.

Whilst the lesser civilized more "barbaric" sections of the Christian territories managed to beat them back. As if selecting for more virile strains consistently. I'd imagine newly converted "mongol" christians doing much better than their more settled and refined counterparts enduring the refining fire much better.

RE: The Orthodox Church
The Ancient Byzantine world was sacrificed to give birth to a much larger, robust, and powerful form of Christianity throughout the world. No martyr's blood is ever wasted. You can trace the rise of America to the fall of Constantinople.

Why did Columbus sail the ocean blue in 1492? To get past the Islamic Ottomans, who took Constantinople in 1450, who charged insane tariffs and taxes to traders traveling to Asia. Not to mention, the Spanish just spent 600 (!) years battling Muslims; finding a way to hurt, economically, the hated Muslim foe was a great incentive for the the King and Queen to grant an expedition to India.

I believe Islam was a heretical warrior religion created by Satan to try and snuff out early Christianity. It backfired, spectacularly, expanding the Christian world by several hundredfold.

History can be interesting, indeed. So many ways to look at it, just when one is going down a negative rabbit hole.

Good work, Samseau.

@Samseau

Interesting. Do you see the blood of the Armenians at the hands of the Turks not being wasted in our modern day similarly? Or will we yet see the results of that?

Anyone else notice the term "highly" has overtaken "very/strongly" in 2019?

I haven't, but that's because I've been using that adjective for a long time. It's part of my normal diction.

I am highly impressed by your aptitude for observation though.

My wife Kristy and I had been touring around Sydney and had spent the previous evening in an area known as Kings Cross where we had a little too much to drink and ended up at a live sex show. The finale involved this tall black guy with an absolutely enormous cock.

This was probably all part of the act but after he had fucked his partner until she had come a number of times he pulled out of her and invited a woman from the audience to come on stage.

She appeared reluctant but the other people at her table urged her on and finally she got up and they started to dance for a minute as she stared at his cock bobbing in front of her until he placed his hands on her shoulders and forced her to her knees. The crowd was going wild as she started to suck and lick his big cock pulling the shaft with both hands until with a grunt he came and semen ran from her lips.

Dafuq? I'm guessing that's rape because she was reluctant!

Seriously though...that doesn't seem like the kind of thing you just "happen into". You sure there isn't more to the story?

Our Lady of Akita is a Catholic Church approved miracle / apparition.

Our Lady of Akita occurred in a Catholic Convent in Japan in 1973 century. The Virgin Mary appeared to a Nun multiple times with prophecy. A wooden statue of Mary cried for many to witness.

It had been commented, I believe by (at the time) Cardinal Ratzinger that Akita was parallel to the prophecy of Our Lady of Fatima, specifically with respect to the 3rd prophecy. Many believe Fatimas 3rd prophecy was hidden from the general population, and that Akita gives us the information. The 3rd prophecy is very dark with what Roosh would call "cleansing fire".

I recently dug into these Marian prophecies and found them to be very prophetic to our current time and situation. In the Catholic Church they are accepted as true, but at the same time we are not required to be believed as part of our professed faith. The order of Akita is to pray the Rosary daily. Fatima (1917) also has a demand to have Russia Consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady - which never happened.

My question to Orthodox would be:
- Does anyone know these prophecies?
- Does the Orthodox Church have Apparitions of the Virgin Mary or other Saints / Angels?
- What would the official teaching be related to Our Lady of Akita, Fatima, or Guadeloupe?

That much I've found. I'm curious if anyone's found anything with a bit more depth or some more useful applications of it.

It seems that the consecration of Russia didn't happen because said "consecration" didn't actually mention Russia and the vision of a pope dying on a hill didn't happen.

We are in Orthodox thread, I am not sure if this fits the thread as I am not sure if Orthodox follow these Marian Prophecies.

Consecration of Russia has not happened, All the Bishops must consecrate Russia with the Pope.

Regarding 3rd prophecy, as you dig deeper you will find there are those that say we only received Fatima 3A & 3B was hidden from us / destroyed.

Some will say that 3A matches to JP2 being shot, but this to me doesn't fit the puzzle. These 2 guys also do a video on Akita and tie it to 3rd secret of Fatima.

It's unlikely. Even Mother Angelica said "I don't think we got the whole thing".

That said the text revealed so far from these is uncanny enough that they warrant attention.

Benedict when he was a Cardinal read Akita, and had also read Fatima.

At this time the 3rd Prophecy of Fatima had not yet been revealed.

Benedict said something to the effect that Akita matched to Fatima. Akita has 'cleansing fire' and that the punishment would be worse than time of Noah 'water'. There are Christian concepts of Baptism by Water & Fire, which paralells the punishment somehow.

Looks like the Catholics dropped the ball and now the Orthodox church is doing the consecrating.

If Our Lady says 'All the Bishops', that means that you would need all the Bishops of both Churches. So unless 'All the Bishops' consecrate, then it wouldn't match the request. That obviously includes Bishop of Rome.
