realistic online jobs that allow travel
Every job that I ever hear that you can "do-from-home" or "anywhere-in-the-world" always seems to turn out to be a scam - unless it's an online blog about seducing women in different countries Smile However, I suspect there is only room for one of these, and I am way too late.

I hear about people travelling the world playing online poker, but that strikes me as much more difficult than it sounds even if you are realistic about the years it takes to master the game. Is there an online profession one can do (porn/prostitution jokes aside) that would allow one an income stream so that one can move around as freely as roosh?

Also, is there one that can be mastered in under 3 years while working full time at something that does not contribute to that mastery in any meaningful way (don't say get an Engineering/CS degree, OK)?

Engineering... is needed all over the world

(Edit I just noticed the non engineering part) you mean something easy? none.. well you could teach? but you'll be getting payed peanuts and need a degree for that as well.

Become a entrepreneur, writer, sell products, invent a product.

Unfortunately, engineering is usually a labor/trade barrier protected profession in the countries where I would like to go - places like eastern europe and latin america. I remember spending a summer in Denmark in the late 1990s and meeting highly skilled professionals who could not get jobs - only people in finance and cs could find work. As I understand it the salaries for engineers are going through the roof in Brazil because it's next to impossible to hire foreigners. Great if you're Brazilian, not so much for the rest of us. If you want to go to somewhere in the Middle East or resource rich part of Africa, sure, but you're not going to have much opportunity to game in those places and the women usually leave a lot to be desired.

I'm certainly not expecting it to be easy - but it has to be something one can train for outside of of a 40 hour work week. Engineering doesn't fit the bill, but on further reflection CS might.
