RE: Fashion and Style Lounge
Two more quick questions,
1) if I can barely grow facial hair, should I keep it or does it just look stupid?
2) if I have a long skinny neck with a large curve in the back of my head(big head), would long hair in the back be good to add thickness and get rid of that ostrich look?
Thanks.

Thinking of going for a leather laptop bag. I feel it would match better than the backpack I've had since middle school with my t shirt jeans desert boots style. Any good stores to look?

I want to improve my style by wearing boots over sneakers, wearing different colors of jeans like black, etc... But when I do this I feel uncomfortable and self-conscious, like a nice guy trying to dress like a bad boy. Should I just stick to my current attire and enjoy the confidence, or do you get used to dressing different?

Pick a style you like and give it a test run to see if it suits you. Learn the principles behind it and build your wardrobe around it.

Here's a video you might find useful. Pick a few guys on the list whose style you want to steal, then go down the rabbit hole and research their style. The celebrities who keep popping up in lists like this always have articles online about their style.

Thanks for that vid, will check it out. The style I could see myself pulling off when googling men's style is a bomber/brown leather moto jacket, jeans, and sneakers/desert boots, maybe a leather watch.

If I was going for that look, things I might consider would be the watch: rather than a standard leather strap watch, I might go for a field watch with a canvas strap. Or, if I wanted to wear leather, I might go for a chronograph on a rally strap. With sneakers, I would go for a classic like Converse, Adidas Stan Smiths or Puma Suedes. Something simple and classic. I'm not much of a sneaker man so I would generally go with boots.

Has anyone else noticed that almost all Levis are low rise? I have the 514's and 569's now and when sitting they are ball crushers. I noticed almost all Levis say "sits below the waist" except the 501's. Are there any other brands/stores that sell more of a classic, comfortable mid rise jean?
