This is true. Now multiply this by the fact that your average woman sees the dating market as if there were nothing but 8's and 2's... with nearly 80% of all men falling into the latter category.

Believe me... older women are not happy with their options in general.

RE: With dating apps women over 40 haven't hit the wall
I have a few pix of my female friend, she is 60yo, 7 out of 10 for her age and i am going to create Tinder account just too see what she can get. She has 40yo son and couple of grandchildren.

IF she keeps getting 10+ matches a day then wall is not there, i mean let be honest here, if she does well then women in their 40s have nothing to fear.

Even if we manage to stay in shape into our 40s and 50s, what's the point in comparing ourselves to celebrities in terms of the women we can get?

I'm still being honest about my age, 42, on Tinder - still in great shape, probably never carried more muscle mass than I do now and only a few kilos away from ~10% body fat (I'm not going to try to claim that my face could pass for ten years younger or something like that though, I take care of myself and do what I can to optimize my looks - including shaving or buzz cutting my balding head since my 20s - but I definitely look older, even if not necessarily worse, than I did five or ten years ago).
And yet even here in (not really so) traditional Eastern Europe, setting my age search range on dating apps below 30 gives me almost no matches, and the rare ones I get lead nowhere, either because I'm low priority or because young women suck at even text conversations (I suspect a little of both).
Meeting younger women through other means often provides significantly more positive initial responses, but mostly I date women in their 30s.

The fact that you're dating ~10 years under your own age is impressive, and I am sure that for a 42 year old man you are in excellent shape....but....

The meme that older men have equal (or even decent) access to women in their 20s is just ridiculous. Especially now that dating apps are emphasizing the most superficial aspects of dating and sex, age is a killer. Unless you live in a country where women need a man to escape poverty, or you've accrued a ton of status with age, no way you're going to have the same success with prime women while in your 40s that you would in your 20s.

Men aren't subject to the kind of decline women are, but the drop off both in attractiveness past the age of ~30 is undeniable for most men- Roosh is an example of a rare exception, imo. Even amongst A list Hollywood men it is really notable. For example, look at the effortless Chad face of young Chris Pratt:

He has every resource imaginable at his disposal now, but all the HGH, botox, fillers etc in the world aren't going to bring that back.

Due to hair loss over the last 18 months, I literally look about 10 years older (went from looking 25 to 35), and while women don't disrespect or entirely ignore me, the flagrant IOIs are simply not there like they used to be. I am with my GF of several years, so it hasn't changed my sex life at all, but the decline in that sense is real and pretty pronounced. On the plus side, in business meetings I am taken more seriously, which has been positive.

I don't know much about the male wall - I'm turning 31 this July. I've followed a very strict diet the past 10 years, never drank, worked out religiously - my complexion is perfect, I've maintained most of my hair, I have 8-10% bodyfat year round, and my posture is good. My diet is complete with fruits, vegetables, low GI foods, pretty much nothing that's processed, and I get tons of sleep. Other day I went into a meeting with this older lady and the first thing she said is that "man you engineers keep getting younger and younger". I reckon I could pass for 25 easy.

I just don't see myself hitting the wall for a very long time. Even if my hair gets to the point where it's bad, I'm most definitely going to go for a nice hair transplant. Life's too short.

But then again - how many guys out there consistently eat fruits/veggies, avoid processed foods, maintain bodybuilder levels of bodyfat, workout, get tons of sleep, and avoid drinking, in their thirties?

I imagine it's like older women who take care of themselves - the ones I've seen that are hot, are HOT. Like, jaw dropping hot - few girls in their twenties have every given me that reaction. These are women in their 40's, early 50's, etc. There is something incredibly attractive about finding out that a lady I've been crushing on is old.

I am banging those 35-45 Milfs from dating sites, and its pretty easy if you are in shape and have game.

They do get a lot of attention, but the dudes are out of shape and have no game.

They get hit up a little bit by young thirsty dudes as well, but most decent women don't want to have a "relationship" with boys.

Some older women are much nicer than the fat, entitled, sexually inexperienced and needy younger women IMO. Also the 30's women just want you to pay for their baby, so fuck that.

I'm having the time of my life, shooting fish in a barrel.

Thr Tinder thread is huge on this forum.

When I criticize online dating, many guys start to defend it.

In some cultures, women over 30 are considered old.

A woman age 47 shouldn't be discussed, for her to get so much attention is a sign of a bad dating market.

RE: With dating apps women over 40 haven't hit the wall
A woman 40 or older can make an acceptable later-life companion for either 1) a man who is in his 50's or older, meeting her for the first time; or 2) a man who knew her in a previous stage of life, and retains affection for her (for example--long-ago high school sweethearts, who both went their separate ways and reproduced with other mates, which ultimately didn't work out).

Both scenarios presume the man has already produced children with a younger woman, and is simply looking for companionship; also, that the woman has had children herself.

Any other use for such women is courting disaster.
