There is a lot you can document over this.

- Rise of gangs. All empires and civilisations were started by gangs at one point.

- A Government heading towards use of extreme violence to hang onto power. How does this actually play out? We always focus on the actual 'thing' than what led up to the events.

Claiming it was a power grab is just to broad a claim. Things happen and they happen in a certain way.

People losing hope is a key milestone in a movement towards anarchy and barbarism.

Yo @ everyone...

I wasn't defending true Communist ideas as a government, but I was only comparing between the hateful Anglo Chanty Binx feminism versus Communist Leaders, which of the Lesser of two evils. I would rather live in a "poor" slum fucking chicks than be living in fear of Chanty Binx in a first world "Capitalist" country like Canada or Sweden.

By the way, Latin American communism isn't that "Culturally Marxist" but Fiscally Marxist, major difference. This is why even though Communist Cuba is "Marxist", millions of single men vacation there to look for some Latina pussy.

I wouldn't even be falsely accused of "street harassment" of nude women under a real Communist government, but under Chanty Binx politics, that is hell yo. That was my point. Fiscal Communism doesn't result in that Chanty Binx feminist virus found in a "Capitalist" country like Canada for example.

Chanty Binx wouldn't even survive if she were to book a first class plane ticket spread her feminist shit in some war-torn Communist failure state.

^You would rather be in Venezuela warring for food than Canada dealing with cunty women? Because Venezuela is the end result of straight communism, feminism is only the appetizer.

The fact is that the vast majority of Venezuelans are stupid. I have several Venezuelans on the ground and for all of their anti-socialism talk the reality is they aren't really mad a Maduro. They are mad because they aren't getting free stuff anymore. This is a country that used to give $5000 to citizens for no reason, nobody was complaining about Socialism back then because the going was good. If tomorrow Venezuelans could go back to having free stuff like in 2007 they would do it in a heartbeat and would be praising Maduro.

Sad but I fear all to true.

How else can you explain leftist governments failing time and again but never going away in South America?

It's the definition of stupid or indoctrination, which is basically just a circular argument.

Red herring, no pun intended.

If you are poor, survival is the idea of the day. With that backdrop, traditional living is always the case.

What we see in the West is the destruction of former free markets and traditional societies to a version of oligarchies and thus control of the people via cultural and then fiscal marxism ... which will render everyone very poor eventually.

Back to the main point, poor = traditional. Nobody's got time for the "wage gap" lectures, especially from some annoying brat anymore. She shut the fuck up a long time ago once everyone became poor. Cultural marxism is a feature of declining or late stage imperial decadence.

RE: Venezuela is collapsing
Anyway, while we were all waiting for Trump to declare World War 3 on Syria/North Korea/both chicks at the same time, apparently the people in Venezuela finally decided to get one cheek of their asses up off the cane furniture:

http://www.smh.com.au/world/venezuela-pr...vk9ge.html

Quote:Anti-government protests in Venezuela have spread to the low-income neighbourhoods that were once supportive of leftist President Nicolas Maduro.

In a worrying sign Mr Maduro, groups in Caracas' traditionally pro-government hillside slums and low-income areas blocked streets and lit fires, witnesses and opposition lawmakers reported.

Mr Maduro foes were galvanised by footage of a crowd in the south-eastern Bolivar state heckling and throwing objects at the closely-protected leader during a rally on Tuesday, before state television cut off the broadcast.

In the western Lara state, two people, aged 13 and 36, were killed during the unrest, the state prosecutor's office said in a statement. Lara's opposition governor Henri Falcon blamed violence on "infiltrators" and "delinquents" who roamed on motorcycles after an energy blackout.

"They go by neighbourhoods and shoot people who are protesting," said Mr Falcon, a former member of the ruling party, urging a negotiation to end Venezuela's political crisis.

The opposition says Mr Maduro, a former bus driver and union leader who took office four years ago, has morphed into a dictator after a Supreme Court decision in late March to assume the functions of the opposition-led congress. The court quickly overturned the most controversial part of its decision, but the move breathed new life into the fractured opposition movement.

wo young men had already been killed in protests last week, according to authorities. Many are bracing for further violence in a country that is racked by crime and has one of the world's highest murder rates.

Witnesses said residents of a number of working-class Caracas neighbourhoods blocked streets with trash or burning debris, describing confused street melees, looting and clashes with security forces. Some 71 people were arrested on Tuesday alone, according to rights group Penal Forum.

Government officials did not provide an official account of the events, and the Information Ministry did not respond to an email seeking comment.

Mr Maduro has said that under a veneer of pacifism, a US-backed right-wing opposition is encouraging violent protests in a bid to topple his government and get its hands on Venezuela's oil wealth.

On Wednesday night, he said the Tuesday heckling incident in the city of San Felix was an opposition attempt to "ambush" him that was thwarted by his loyalists.

"They had prepared an ambush and the people neutralised it," he said. "I want to thank the people of San Felix for their expressions of fervour, passion, love and support."

Mr Maduro's adversaries are demanding the government call delayed state elections, which polls suggest would not go well for the ruling Socialists. They also want an early presidential vote after authorities quashed a recall referendum against Maduro last year.

A ban on opposition leader Henrique Capriles from holding office for 15 years drew broad criticism as he was seen as the opposition's best presidential hope.

But it is Venezuela's extended crippling economic crisis that has ordinary people fuming.

Venezuelans have been suffering food and medicine shortages for months, leading many to skip meals or go without crucial treatment. Lines of hundreds form in front of supermarkets as people jostle for hours under the hot sun hoping price-controlled rice or flour will be delivered.

The crisis has especially hurt the poor, long the base of support of Maduro and his predecessor the late Hugo Chavez.

Protesters say they have also been encouraged by stronger condemnation from American and European nations in the last two weeks.

"We cannot accept that the regime is willing to sacrifice Venezuelan lives to remain in power," said Luis Almagro, the head of the Organisation of American States, in a video posted on Wednesday, urging elections.

Another round of protests are planned for Thursday in more than 300 municipalities. Opposition leaders are calling for the "mother of all marches" on April 19.

In total, 364 people were arrested between April 4-12 during the most sustained protests since 2014, with 183 people still behind bars, Penal Forum added.

Maduro refusing to allow the opposition leader to hold office seems to have finally got through to these spitballs that Maduro owns them. I'm amazed they haven't started up before now. Any other tinpot dictatorship would have been burning haciendas and overturning police vehicles by now. And as it is, since I'm still not seeing any indication that the military is turning on Maduro, I'm not expecting much to happen out here.

RE: Venezuela is collapsing
The military will shift with the tides.

Presently the people are not motivated enough to toss out the government and so the military is wisely playing its cards close to its chest.

If/When the people start burning haciendas and overturning police cars then the military will wait for the police to cry uncle before ousting Maduro and being hailed as saviours. That's assuming serious levels of foreign interference doesn't come into play.

RE: Venezuela is collapsing
The citizens of venezuela have been rioting for over a year. Bullets stop people last time I checked. But the people are heading for the border rather than taking a bullet in the city. They are literally in every country that I have been to right now. If america takes the same turn I think the majority of its citizens would starve here because canada wont facilitate tgem all and mexico will decapitate them after they take their wallets. Venezeula is a test to see how people react under certain circumstances. Thats why the currency is shit. Its a plan to see how humans react to certain situations. Also they are pushing the same marshall law, agenda in every, country via the immigration forced by the eu. Every country that they bomb is in a test state and the citizens usually flood the other countries. The plan is to lower the number of citizems in each country so constitutional rights become impotent.

RE: Venezuela is collapsing
Well, this just gets better and better...

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/04/18/...nsion.html

Quote:enezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said he will expand the number of civilians involved in armed militias, providing guns to as many as 400,000 loyalists.

The announcement came as Maduro's opponents are gearing up for what they pledge will be the largest rally yet to press for elections and a host of other demands Wednesday.

he Bolivarian militias, currently at approximately 100,000, were created by the late Hugo Chavez to assist the armed forces in the defense of his revolution from external and domestic attacks.

Speaking to thousands of militia members dressed in beige uniforms gathered in front of the presidential palace, Maduro said that vision remains relevant as Venezuela continues to face "imperialist aggression."

"A gun for every militiaman!" he cried.

Maduro's government claims foreign-backed opposition leaders are fomenting violence in an attempt to remove him from power. The opposition denies that assertion, saying it is Maduro himself who is responsible for Venezuela's woes, including triple-digit inflation, rising crime and food shortages.

They also blame Maduro for ordering security forces to use tear gas against protesters and failing to stop pro-government armed groups from attacking demonstrators.

During the act, Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez read a text saying the country is living a “crucial situation.”

“The excessive ambition of [our] enemies threatens the peace and stability by carrying out a criminal agenda loaded with hate that includes terrorist acts, disturbances, looting, vandalism, different forms of violence against innocent people and public health facilities," Padrino said.

The defense chief said that the violent acts perpetrated during recent opposition protests, which to date have resulted in six deaths and about 100 arrests, are geared toward creating "anxiety in the public, anarchy and chaos, with the ignoble aim of toppling the democratic government."

I'd normally take a grain of salt since it's Neocon Fox News, but this is coming from Maduro himself in the open.

Lest we forget this is the same country that outlawed private ownership of rifles in 2012. Zeroedge's title of the article sums it up: "This is why you have the 2nd Amendment."

RE: Venezuela is collapsing
Yup - looks like Maduro is determined to make Venezuela into a South American North Korea.

But there is a problem there - the mentality of Venezuelans is far different from North Koreans.

Disarming the population while arming his loyalists is the first way for making it work. Next are probably genocidal tendencies and mass-murder of the opposition. However Venezuela is not as isolated as North Korea and it does not have nukes.

If he pisses of enough people, enough pictures of atrocities get out, then virtually almost all South American countries will sanction military action. The US in combination with other countries will simply oust him by force. He can up his crumbling military to 2 mio. soldiers - it will not help at all.

Going the North Korea route of abject terror with militarism will not help him stay in power. Sanctions have already been imposed by the US, other countries will follow suit.

RE: Venezuela is collapsing
Maduro is getting desperate. He lost two big local allies (Kirchnner and Rousseff) and his other allies (Correa and Morales) have enough internal problems to give him any real support. His other two foreign allies (China and Russia) are letting his hand off. That only left Cuba as his only ally. The economy sink depper with each second, and the hunger grows in the populace. The last protest left a good amount of death people, and now the OEA have grown some balls and are demanding some declaration about that.

As for a military intervention, i dont see it posible....yet. If shit finally hit the fan, i can see Brasil and Colombia trying to put some order, with Argentina, Peru and Chile support.

When i´m feeling blue, when i just need something to shock me up, i look at this thread and everything get better!

Dont think so. It would be more like a "White Helmets intervention" scenario i think.

PD: Not to mistake for the rebel group in Syria. The White Helmets are a peace gorup created by Argentina. It would be similar to the Blue Helmets.

Vzla has no real allies other than Cuba who in reality is Venezuela's pimp.

Nigga Jugo Chabes gave away a shit ton of oil to Cuba in exchange for doctors for his socialist clinics.....but he wanted to emulate Cuba to the point he invited the Cuban state security apparatus with open arms. Even his supporters hated lil' Juguito giving away so much oil to a state that didn't return much of value.....and Venezuelans were pissed that the DGI (Cuban Intelligence) was operating so freely around Venezuela as if they were in charge of security. When Chabes started losing his grip, he requested help and Cuba sent more agents to avoid losing it's favorite parasitic host.

I expect even more DGI agents to arrive in Caracas to uphold Maduro's regime.

Yeah, it's called Dirección General de Inteligencia. Maybe Vzla, Cuba, Argentina, Ecuador decided to run a left-wing Operacion Condor deal hahaha.

It's upsetting because the Cubans acted as if they were home in Venezuela, Chavez let them do whatever they wanted and even some high ranking Venezuelans were pissed at being sidelined.
