RE: Female James Bond
I am sure this would be just as popular as Ghostbusters 3.

In my opinion, the bigger issue is that they always have to take movies and series that are historically male-led and brute force a woman into the role. Rather than doing "Jane Bond," they could easily do a Perfect Dark movie. Hell, I would possibly even consider seeing it, if they did a good job. But no, they have to steal something that is successful because men made it (although, men probably made Perfect Dark, but at least a female lead makes sense).

I suppose Q will deign her a top secret strap-on which transforms into a deadly sword upon penetration of her female lovers.

Never say never. They cast Elba as Roland from Dark Tower even though that was a white role.

No love for Tom Hardy? I've worked with him 3 times and while his real life personna is rough and I'll confirm in person until he likes you he's not a lot of fun to be around he's an unbelievable talent. He's got the looks and charisma to pull it off, you'd believe him as being intelligent and tough, his only negative is his lack of polish off screen but I'll take his manliness over Pierce Brosnans bond. I did like Craig.

Hardy, from what little I've seen of him, gives signs of being a real virtuoso with acting. His take on Bond would be entirely different, albeit interesting. I bet he'd clash hard with the directors.

They're too used to Daniel Craig types that are going to dress in drag and ape at being gruff.

Fair point, he's very much an actors actor, in it for the craft. For as much as we enjoy Bond, there is little room for artistic expression within the confines of that role, less as the producers would demand it played...he's a handful with free reign, leashed watch out lol that said if they removed the shackles with him we could end up with the best Bond to date. Bet on them to play it safe in the casting as per usual tho.

Essentially, James Bond is the ultimate male fantasy, which is why they're targeting it. Let's think about it, what is it about Bond that appeals to men?:

He's smooth with the ladies
He drives fast cars
He uses cool high-tech gadgets
He's the best at his job

Why the hell would a man want to see a female Bond? It makes no sense. The fanbase has always been primarily male, if they do this it'll be like "Ghostbusters" all over again. The male fans will feel alienated from the franchise they've supported all these years and women won't suddenly become huge Bond fans just because they put a woman in it. If they can even get women out to see the first film in a new female Bond franchise, they'll likely lack the loyalty to follow the series as sequels are made and the story progresses. Why? They'll lose interest and already be off to the next big thing.

Nothing is sacred anymore. It's starts with putting women in traditionally male roles in movies, then it's going to lead to homos, then trannies, so on and so forth.

The cultural degeneracy of the west has only just begun, unfortunately.
