The main character is a total savage hedge fund manager. Alpha orator, body language, and clearly has a "fuck you" attitude. Great example of an alpha male in the wild. Show is a red pill chess match and red pill humor despite being a drama. Watching this show is adding a lot to my arsenal
Theres some fucking bad ass lone liners in there as well

"I AM KEYSER SOZA MOTHERFUCKER"
"When I pull a deal off the table I leave Nagasaki behind"
"Everyone wants to be a lion; most people just never get the chance...I'm offering you one now."
"What's the point in having fuck you money if you never say fuck you?"
"Those guys at the prime broker desk have looser lips than my first wife after the second kid."
"My father always told me that leniency is a word pussies use when they couldn't take the pain."
"My cholesterol's high enough. Don't butter my ass, Danzig. Just get smarter."
“We have to be more pure than the Virgin Mary before her first period.”

I like the show, too but lol at these lines. They are so contrived, corny and unnatural to the human ear. Typical hollywood distortion of how people talk and engage in the real world.

FX has some of the best series on TV

Taboo has been killer. Tom Hardy is the fn MAN!

Legion has been very cool so far also, very psychedelic and crazy, kind of like Mr Robot on acid. Legion is an unreliable narrator like that show also, so I expect some plot twists and turns as they work through his craziness.

Last episode of Arrow, was pro gun control. In a show where a guy goes around shooting people with arrows and several of his sidekicks use pistols. They attempted to appear balance by having a pro gun character.

Halt and catch fire is good in season one, but 2 and 3 are non stop grrrrrrl power shit because the entire focus is lesbo girlboy Cameron's company as the storyline.

I watched it from beginning it aired. Its a bit dull at the moments but that series was supposed to portray realistic spies, not kickass James Bond type of spies.
Through whole series they have neighbor who is FBI agent and series also deals with the fact how they conceal their true identity, how they go on missions. Also real cold war events are pictured.
If you love 80s and spies, look it up.

Black Mirror

In a not so distant future, where technology and social media have taken a total grip on the population, this show portrays what it have done to us. Some of the plots are hard to imagine happening in the real world, but others are really good. One episode is about everybody rating each other on social media, and how that forms our behavior and rules society completely. Now you may say, "That would never happen to me, i don't give a fuck about instagram" But imagine in 20-30-40 years, where every adult have grown up with social media from day 1. The show also covers subjects like political correctness, racial politics ect.

A mind-fucking show, new plot and actors in every episode. 3 seasons on Netflix

It's very frustrating Netflix blocks a lot of shows in Europe that they show in US.

Can recommend "The Expanse".
Rock solid sci-fi, well-paced and imaginative.

The novels the TV series is based on are great too (the novel writers, two guys under one pen name, are also working on the TV show). Well, the first four novels at least - I've been stuck for a year around a third into the fifth novel (six have been released so far), finding it a boring slog to get through compared to the previous ones.

The first two TV seasons - two episodes left of the second - cover roughly the first one and a half novels, plus some characters and politics from later books, if I remember correctly.

When the first season started I didn't like around half the casting - and that might be generous - but they've grown on me and the second season in particular has been very engaging.

I've liked Designated Survivor, the new 24, House of Cards, The Walking Dead... but not the summer spin-off.
Otherwise, I just don't watch much television.

Anyone catch the new episode of Archer last week? I know the show is long past it's heyday of Archer being an alpha spy whose awesomeness knew no bounds but it's still one of the few tv shows left I bother to watch. Started out pretty slow but it started to pick up near the end. I hope Barry becomes a cyborg somehow. Really dislike how game-less Archer acts within his own damn dream/coma towards women, how does that make any sense? Since when is he brought to a stammering mess in front of Lana? What happened to teasing her about her large hands and insecurities. Now her character is insufferable instead of funny, too much of a badass woman trope.

Bums me out Reed decided on ending the show and split the last three seasons up into 8 episodes. I think this 1947 immediate post-war setting could be interesting though.

Have they ever did a decent version of the entire apocalypse and what happens afterwards in a TV show? They always seem to fizzle out at the end shows like Supernatural, The Messengers and Sleepy Hollow.

I'm enjoying this season so far. I especially loved Krieger's "Accion" line after the bitch spit in his face.

Now we've got cyborg Barry. Shit's about to go down.
