RE: The TV Series Thread
Has anyone watched the new Netflix show 'Society'?

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UJzU-b5EU9c

The premise is that high school students get suddenly stuck in a town all on their own. They don't know what has happened to the rest of the world. So they have to figure stuff out on their own and start a new society from scratch.

In real life we all know what would happen in such cases. The young high school men will takeover. Initially their might be chaos, disagreements, fights and even deaths but if they are strong, solid human beings then the young men will ensure rules are implemented and things are done in a civil manner.

LI can also understand the show taking fictional liberties but again the leftist Hollywood smear the show with their ultra liberal 'never ever going to happen in real life' bile. As the episodes progress the show soon becomes a feminist's and socialism/communist's wet dream.

From the get go the women are portrayed as intelligent and it is a woman who becomes a leader. The jocks are just portrayed as these dumb dudes who are more or less controlled by their high school girlfriends. The main nerd and chef are also men and total white knights. The only rebels are a rich guy and a lone wolf. Both are portrayed as evil masculinty.

When the boys ransack a hardware store and get into a fight, the girl leader calls for an all women meeting in the church and decides that the men and their violent ways cannot continue and the women have to exert power. So how do the women exert power? The high school popular girls reign in their jock boyfriends. Yeah, as if that would happen in real life. Maybe one or two jock would be pussies and get controlled by their gf but not all of them.

Right after, a town meeting is held and socialist rules are implemented. Then some toxic masculine/women opposer guy 'supposedly' kills the woman leader and then her younger sister takes over. The sister literally becomes a cunt of the highest order and the show just further falls deep into ultra feminism and socialist ideologies.

The women just control everything. Almost all guys are either dumb or super white knights. The sister leader cunt even has a jock security team protecting her , which becomes her secret police.

In real life these high t men would brutally takeover and if the sister cunt leader tried her shenanigans she would be put in her place or in the extreme, even gang raped.

I don't know how people stand these fucking shows and not write big criticisms on them showing how pathetic a propaganda piece they are. Also, the target audience for such shows are teenagers and young adults and it is quite evident how the show is grooming their ideologies.

Manhunt: Unabomber

Awesome show! Slight tinge of pro-diversity crap but otherwise a gripping and well-acted series. Not sure if it was already mentioned though.

Finally I can download Gomorrah on 02tvseries.com. I have been waiting to watch this show. Is it the Italian Sopranos? I am definitely binge watching it tomorrow.

The other series I really want to see is The Shield.

Don't debate me.

Many members raved about Gomorrah in this thread. I lost interest halfway through the first season. The son is an overweight out-of-shape loser who relies on the other men who are supplied by his criminally retarded father. Perhaps the show redeemed itself later. The Sopranos worked because it was quirky with interesting characters. I found most of the characters in Gomorrah just plain sad or stupid -- or both. It is more like a retarded version of the Sopranos.

If you like shows with a bunch of sad-assed men, such as Big Bang Theory, then you may enjoy Gomorrah.

I really enjoyed The Shield. A bunch of alpha males trying to overcome their human frailties, and the temptations of modern life, to protect the public.

Shit. What a way to go.

As for HBO's newest series du mois, Euphoria. Holy fuck. Watched about 5 minutes and wanted to OD just like the characters of the overwrought, preachy, SJW circle jerk. The pilot opens with voice over of degenerate 17 year drug addict waxing poetically about God knows what in the stilted language that exists only in the minds and mouths of Sarah Lawrence freshman reading the Sparknotes of Proust for French Lit 101.

Complete with noble transgenders, witty and grounded ugly cunts, rapist alpha White men, violent/fag tendency suppressing white boys, and you have a 100 rotten tomatoes rating and a "twitter phenomenon"... despite no one who doesn't read AVclub knowing the show exists.

The animated season of Trailer Park Boys was a great breath of fresh air for the series. For once, they did different things with the characters and didn't have the same old "rob something, go to jail, come up with some scheme, rinse, repeat". It was a sad one though since John Dunsworth who played Mr. Lahey passed away and we don't learn what happened to him.

Hannibal -- so sick and twisted with a ridiculously outlandish plot that I could not watch beyond the first season. It really personifies the gruesome violence that our fallen society so passionately craves.

Donovan -- People either love or hate this show. A fixer for L.A. scumbags? I could not watch more than a few episodes. Made me want to retch.

Peaky Blinders -- The best of the three shows, but I lost interest after the first season. It should have gone in a different direction.

RE: The TV Series Thread
Chernobyl is great... especially for the older millenials and the gen-x among us. I remember the day it happened, I was a small child but it's burned into my memory. It was as big as 9/11 for Europeans. For months, mothers deliberately bought expired food... anything produced before the fallout hit. It went a lot further West than most people realize.

It was great to see what really happened from the inside (the show is quite accurate, there's some articles about it floating around). The only thing that annoyed me was the feminism. Only a woman is smart enough to realize how serious the problem is. She is also the only one smart enough to solve the problem. And the only one brave enough to stand up to the Soviet bureaucracy.

And the kicker: that woman doesn't even exist. She's a composite character, compiled of hundreds of male scientists. But that is only acknowledged briefly in the ending credits of the final episode.

Still, 4/5 stars from me, worth watching.

Hannibal: The absolute gayest show I have ever watched and surprise, surprise, it was created by an openly gay writer. It's basically a romance between Will and Hannibal from the start. SPOILER ALERT! The show ends with the two embracing each other like lovers and falling off a cliff, then becoming a cannibal couple. I watched it to the end for the violence, the cinematography, the music, the atmosphere, basically everything else but the gay main plot. Also, there's a lot of lesbian shit in the show but I didn't mind it too much.

Ray Donovan: The show explains that Ray's alpha behavior comes from his childhood rape and abuse in the hands of a male priest. They also heavily imply that Ray liked it and now puts up a front of "toxic masculinity" to overcompensate for the fact that he sucked cock and took it up the ass. There's also an actor sucking trans cock on video etc. And there's a male teacher (played by the blonde guy from LA Noire and Mad Men) having an affair with Ray's underage daughter and the show portraying Ray as the bad guy for getting angry and intervening. There's probably tons more that I forgot.

At least Ray Donovan is mildly entertaining, a perfect show for those weekends when you are recovering from getting your wisdom teeth removed, laying on a couch sipping melted ice cream and need some brainless show to binge watch. But no SJW bullshit? Please.

Also, "SJW bullshit" in entertainment doesn't really bother me unless it's so on-the-nose that it becomes distracting (example: the otherkin alien in Billions). I'm not one of those guys who instantly smashes the TV if there's a character that would look out of place on a Hitler Youth poster.

I am glad that I discontinued watching those TV shows.

I really liked "Black Sails," but a truly irksome backstory was that Captain Flint abandoned the British Navy and became a pirate because of British society's scorn for his homosexual love affair with the son of a British Lord. Hollywood has an overt agenda to normalize homosexuality.

Written by the same guy who wrote Preacher (Garth Ennis). I read some of the comics, they're pretty good:

I just hope that they don't go too woke on that - it does not look like that so far, but who knows. The comic is the polar opposite of woke.

It's set in a darker universe than ours where millions of people were affected by a super-power-inducing drug at different levels. We will see - at least it's not a total obliteration like with the woke Watchmen.

RE: The TV Series Thread
Ditto on Black Sails.

The main captain is straight in season one. He has a sex scene with titties and the lead female girl power character is secretly in love with him. That sexual tension actually drives the plot. Then in season 2 the writers insert a backstory: he’s gay now. Not bisexual, gay.

The thing is, the whole gay reveal has no real impact on the main plot. A whole season of backstory is used to set up the reveal, and it turns out to make little difference by the end.

The whole thing reeks of a sucker punch: lure the audience with a masculine show based on a classic book, then, once the show gets an audience and renewed, drop a bunch of a SJW bullshit. Either that or one set of writers got replaced by another set.

Dark may be my favorite new show, but damn, it twists my head around. I reread wikipedia's episode breakdown of season 1 before starting season 2...should have just rewatched season 1.

And that Franziska character, the older sister of the deaf girl, not what I'd say is my normal type but she's got something about her.

I am disappointed that there are no POC throughout the first two seasons. Who is supposed to be the hero without a POC?!

As for the ending...it's only been out a week and I'm on extended vacation. I'll give busier posters some more time.

P.S. Stranger Things Season 3 on 4th of July!

Took a glance at it due to the high ratings.

It's refreshing to see a series without the globohomo propaganda - at best slight homosexual couple pushing and that's all. The funny part about it is that the German media is SJW green-left central, while the art world with the theaters and partly some movies - they are still focused on art and cash.

My guess is that the Germans wanted to make it big on Netflix and had no time for globohomo crap to lower the ratings.

Still - you can see that they are doing the switcheroo into "eternal seasons" mode. If they had the budget of Star Trek Discovery, then they could do something that would rival Game of Thrones early seasons. You can also see that the actors came from the theater, old-school, which is different to the US idiocracy and who-you-blew recommendations complete with SJW-gulag training.

For all the destruction of Germany it's clear that the US is SJW-central in terms of the entertainment industry.
