RE: The EU/European politics thread
Norwegian 2-3 year old kindergardeners are now "celebrating" Pride day by having their own processions with the rainbow flag and all. https://www.nrk.no/norge/reagerer-pa-at-...1.14074299

Of course most kindergardens in Norway are public, so it`s de facto paid for by yours truly...well mostly by evil white men who do most of the real jobs/create real wealth. The parents are of course mostly positive towards this initiative. (Wouldn`t dare say anything else is my guess, but who knows, maybe that`s the level of cuckiness we have arrived at.) All kindergarden employes are required to attend a course held by the `union of gender-sexual diversity` also.

I find these yellow vest/fuel price riots in France somewhat humorous. Here you have Allah Akbar jihadis shooting up and running vans into your fellow citizens. You have same would be satanic jihadis trashing your country and raping your women but yet it takes high fuel prices to get people to take some sort of action. What pussies. I feel no remorse for when the caliphate takes over, and to hell with the French if they come slobbering for help from United States again. You voted for what you have, you get what you deserve. Fags.

Edit* I think France's only hope is to have their nation's only real men left, The Foreign Legion, stage a coupe again and run the country.

You are not definitely not understanding French mentality and judiciary system , unlike some clever anglophones here. A closer look what at French history would make you understand a lot of things.

RE: The EU/European politics thread
I wasn't sure where to post this, but it seemed mildly interesting in the overall 'road to serfdom' and censorship theme. Since this is only an event in Portugal, I assume no one outside of my country has heard of it but it's still worth a mention.

A couple of days ago a morning show hosted by a very well known and liked sodomite had a semi-famous neo-nazi as one of the guests in a regular section devoted to 'unpopular opinions'organized by another guy.

About the neo-nazi: he is semi-famous for being the cookie-cutter version of a neo-nazi, basically everything the establishment wants. He has been involved in shady stuff, has been in prison, and is allegedly involved in the murder of a black guy. No sane, normal person would give this guy any creedance. Any time the establishment wants to talk about nationalism, it's this guy that gets brought up and his new movement/party. Meanwhile, the legitimate nationalist party - which has cut all ties with this guy - is ignored, and when it isn't, it is to remind everyone that this guy used to be a part of it.

Now, it's important to note that the guy has tried to go 'legit', has toned down his rethoric, barely ever talks about race, etc. In fact, he has gone so far as to toe the feminist line, and try to get LGBT and Feminist support by saying they will protect them from intolerant foreigners - all the more reason this guy is not to be trusted, at least in my view. Neo-nazis are dumb, feminist neo nazis are dumb cancer.

So having this in mind, his interview was really moderate. He didn't really say much that was inflamatory - you would find much "worse" every day here on the forum. But, given the times we're in, just saying stuff like 'maybe democracy isn't that great' and 'the portuguese should be in charge of their own nation' is enough to get you publicly flogged. Plus, just the image of the guy is enough to scare normal people off.

the guy in question. if you don't want your country full of africans, you must be like this guy amirite...

So I expected a bit of shit storm. But boy oh boy, has it gone much further.

It wasn't just the normal outrage from social media NPCs and paid shills on tv, radio and newspapers. The guy who invited him was fired, the regular section has been cut from the program, there is a government investigation into the "incident" and threats of financial penalties for the network for airing it. Now one of the most 'controversial' things he said was that we needed another Salazar (our dictator for about half the XX Century), and this type of persecution of dissenting opinions is exactly what his regime used to do. So it's like the pot calling the kettle black. The irony.

The funniest part of all this is that only 60+ year olds and unemployed deadbeats watch that shit show anyway. But it's against the orthodoxy and the outrage mob must have its blood. I bet the Secret Service are pretty happy about their little stunt.

It's like living in a bad dystopian novel, I tell you.

I am under the impression that Salazar was a true catholic leader.
Am I correct to believe this ? Just like Franco - he didn't take leadership of the country with votes. But he has treated colonies with respect. That's my vision of him.

Can some portuguese people give me their opinions on what exactly he has done for Portugal ? Has he done some good things ?

RE: The EU/European politics thread
@Polniy_Sostav

Your impression is correct.

In my opinion he was one of the best statesman Portugal has ever had, and this is 900+ history. It can be argued that he was the best overall.

When the Republic was proclaimed and the King was killed, in 1910, the country was in bad shape in all areas. The republicans proceeded to make matters much worse. Chaos was a feature of every day life in every major cities - this included terrorism, lawlessness and dozens of governments that couldn't last long (some lasted only a few days). The public debt skyrocketed during those years to levels that only now in the XXI century have been once again reached, so finances were in shambles. The majority of the population was illiterate.

To address this state of chaos there was a military coup, that instituted a dictatorship in 1926. Initially Salazar was hired as finance minister, but quit soon after saying he didn't have the power to do what needed to be done. Soon after, he was given that power. This was in 1932.

Until 1968, year in which he fell ill and was succeeded by one of his disciples (although a much less charismatic and more liberal one), he balanced the budget to the point where Portugal had the biggest gold reserve in the world at one point. Against popular conception, he managed to build a lot of infrastructure despite balancing the budget and actually bringing the country up to speed on industrialization (which we were very far behind) - he built schools, hospitals, bridges, dams, roads and brought eletricity to remote areas. Again, popular conception has it that he kept the people uneducated and poor - but the statistics do not bear this fact. Literacy rose by 50% (when he took over 75% of the population couldn't read or write, and when he left it was 25%). And, while the country was certainly poor (especially by modern standards), the only real period of hunger was during the II World War, which he kept us out of, because of general shortages - hardly his fault. In fact, compared to the famines that other countries went through during this period, we did fairly ok.

He also managed to build modern cities in Angola and Mozambique, a great feat in and of itself given the size of those countries and the size of ours. And of course, when the Soviet-sponsored 'liberation armies' started to wage guerilla warfare he wasn't going to simply allow it to be taken over and all the things the Portuguese built to be destroyed, and all our interestes robbed. It's worthy of note that these colonies had a great level of integration, and many native people were educated and held position of relative power and influence (lawyers, teachers, public administrators) in the colonies. These black folks and their families ended up murdered (literally) after the regime fell. A lot of destruction took place. Portuguese people fled to Portugal, South Africa and Brazil with nothing but the clothes on their skin. This injustice is never talked about except in private, it's one of the big open secrets because it goes against everything we're taught growing up.

Now onto his authoritarian side.

He put some people in jail, tortured and even killed for political reasons - mostly communists, fascists and nazis. These were revolutionaries that threatened the very fabric of society and the stability of the country. The amount of people killed is hard to know because so much of it is fabricated. But the fact that the leftist historians say it didn't go over a hundred (100!) during 40+ years tells you all you need to know. Also the leader of the Communist party during those years was imprisioned several times and tortured (allegedly) but managed to escape twice, and was never killed. If you ask me, Salazar was actually pretty lenient with these trecherous cretins who wanted to destroy our country and that, eventually, did.

It was true of course that newspapers, music and then tv were highly controlled. Speech was not free. It was not possible to call for the overthrow of the government, to question the colonial policy or to blaspheme against Christ. Because of his regime, the sexual liberation of the 60s took a little longer to take hold, and for that alone I am grateful.

Social Matter has this series of articles on him and the regime that is well worth the read.

Thank you ilostabet . This is exactly what I needed to know. God bless him , he was good for Portugal. And when I was a teenager the only portuguese I knew was Jose Barroso Smile
I also remember learning at (French republican) school that Salazar was the "last dictator in west europe".

The more I think about all this , the more I think it is best for us to take the power outside the democratic system and control all our political enemies. It is the price to pay to make sure our civilisation and our kids live under catholic rules in latin catholic Europe (France , Spain , Portugal etc)
Now that I see the big picture , I have an immense respect for this man.

German far-right MP injured in 'politically motivated' attack

Quote:A leading politician from Germany’s right-wing populist Alternative für Deutschland party who was seriously injured by masked assailants who beat him unconscious in what police have described as a politically motivated attack has said he can expect to spend a long time in hospital.

According to police, Magnitz, a father of six children, was on his way home from a new year’s reception at a regional newspaper when he was attacked. He was reportedly knocked to the ground and beaten unconscious with what is believed to have been a wooden object, before being kicked in the head.

A passerby intervened, causing the attackers to flee, according to the police. The Bremen office of the AfD praised the man for his “courageous intervention”, saying it was thanks to him that Magnitz was still alive.

It also said that two police officers have been stationed outside Magnitz’s hospital room for his protection and ready to interview him.

I noticed that all the MSM articles on the attack show only a cropped image of the man's injuries - specifically they don't show his forehead - making it appear that he has only a black eye:

[Image: 850.jpg?width=620&quality=45&...45b4296294]

The same media that wants us all to see the dead Syrian child washed up on shore is now apparently squeamish. Here's the full shot of his head from Breitbart's article on the attack:

You're welcome man, I always enjoy dispelling the myths about Salazar and putting his actions in the proper context.

Regarding 'us' taking power, I wish that were possible in our time, but I just don't see it.

When I said 'Salazar did this and that' it is a figure of speech. Yes, he was a great man with great vision, but it took a lot of strong and honorable men to help him realize that vision, it took a healthy society and a authoritative Church. We have none of those things today. Even if one or a few men showed up with a plan, the great majority of people would be against them. I don't buy that Salvini, AfD, etc, will be able to turn the tide, not just because their 'ideologies' are still liberal at their core, but more importantly because it's not just a political tide, but a spiritual and moral tide.

One can dream, though.

RE: The EU/European politics thread
After the circus I reported here, I wanted to report on a 'situation' developing in Lisbon, Portugal's capital.

I take the time to report this because Portugal is such an insignificant country on the world stage that these don’t make international news, but our problems mirror what is going on elsewhere in Western Europe, with one difference which is we barely have any Muslims, and even less from the Middle East/North Africa. Our immigration/integration problems are all from sub-Saharan Africa (where we had our colonies) and most of these people don’t seem to have any religion (some might be technically Catholic, but I mostly to take advantage of indiscriminate charity given by Catholic institutions). Strangely enough the only Africans that seem to behave, have stable families and communities, jobs, etc, are the Muslims (something akin to the Nation of Islam types in America) - at least for now. But give or take, the behaviors and social pathologies of our African communities are the exact same that are found everywhere else across Western societies. Of course, not all. I know many black people who are well integrated, speak the language perfectly, work for a living, etc. But the majority suffer from the problems we all know: welfarism, single-motherhood, criminality, near or complete illiteracy, etc. Ironically, I find the most vocal critics of this community to be the blacks that ‘escaped’ and made something of themselves, and they hate the victim mentality and the people (white and black) that promote it, and are utterly ruthless when criticizing their own - and of course, you never hear from them in the media.

With all of this in mind, here's the story:

Early Monday morning, Police is called in to a ghetto (called Jamaica Neighborhood, and inhabited by Africans immigrants of 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation) on the outskirts of Lisbon to resolve a dispute between two women that are fighting in the aftermath of a birthday party. This was early Monday morning. Barely anyone actually works there hence why the late party. The place is a den of crime and welfare, a scenario that is replicated in several neighborhoods in the peripheries of big cities across Portugal’s mainland.

Upon arrival, and as usual, the police is met with violence: stones thrown at their car, when they get out they get assaulted and, obviously, they act to defend themselves and defuse the situation. They use their batons and, eventually, shoot their shotguns to the air.

Despite not having jobs, all of them are equipped with high end smartphones, so as usually happens a video is released showing police using violence against the ghetto dwellers. It's conveniently cut so that you only see their response, and not the initial attacks they suffered. Far-left parties (currently part of the government), and criminal organizations such as SOS Racism (which is nothing more than a vehicle for black on white racism and to excuse any bad black behavior with white racism) pile on the police, call them 'pieces of shit' in official statements (literally) and stop just short of inciting riots.

The day after there is a protest in the city center against ‘police violence’. A few hundred black people shouting ‘black power’ and being openly racist against the natives. No one finds this strange, at least not in the mainstream media. Of course if a group of white guys went on the street to protest and shout ‘white power’ we wouldn’t hear the end of it, or if a similar group was doing something like this in an African country, it would be international news. But Black Supremacy is totally fine of course, even when they are doing it in someone else’s country.

The protest against violence turns violent itself, in an unsurprising and ironic twist. Rocks and ‘fireworks’ are thrown at the police, which is forced to, again, use some violence against them and shoot rubber bullets into the air. This again is painted by the far-left as an overblown response. Police are just supposed to take it I guess, since black lives matter, despite no lives being threatened. I underline, again, that until now they only fired shots in the air (twice), and only once with live ammunition. Still, that’s not good enough. There is by now an ‘investigation’ into alleged police violence, yet no investigation into organized protester violence (if, as they claim, police initiated the violence in the protest, where did those fireworks come from? Did they have them just in case? Oh well).

We also have to understand that the people that protested are definitely not smart enough to organize anything. You might say this is racist, but it was obvious to anyone once you’ve heard them being interviewed. You couldn’t even understand what they were saying most of the time. One girl was going on about ‘fighting AGAINST human rights’, saying it over and over, as she had already forgotten what her handlers had instructed her to say. Knowing the media always chooses their interviews carefully and to give you a false picture, if this was the best they could get you have to wonder what would be the worse. So this is clearly orchestrated by the far-left, with people telling them where to go and what to say, and incentivizing them to riot.

Despite the investigations into ‘police violence’ and general condemnation on the media, it doesn’t stop here. That same night several fires are started across multiple places in the outskirts of Lisbon, burning down cars, trashcans, the usual. In one instance, close to the place of the original incident that set this off, they threw Molotov cocktails against the local police station. We’re talking about terrorist acts at this point. Yet, no coordinated investigation or response.

Then last night, they continued burning shit down. The media can’t help but report on it, yet always spinning it as a righteous response to police violence and racism. So far only a handful of people got arrested (and will probably not be charged with much, given they are always represented by lawyers from far-left organizations and the courts themselves are in on the agenda). Of course, if there is no repercussion, things can only continue to escalate.

These communities have been a pressure cooker waiting to explode for a long time. In previous instances these things get resolved by the government giving them more money, benefits or relocating certain groups (gangs and their families) to different, and newly constructed, neighborhoods, all paid for by the taxpayer of course - that they proceed to turn into another ghetto.

But this was before the open race baiting and hatred of the native Portuguese being promoted day and night by the far left. The narrative is the same one observed in other countries, and it’s reaching an extreme: we are all racists and all the problems of these communities are caused by this racism. We all know where this victim mentality and the identification of the native ‘oppressors’ leads. It’s hard to go back to the ‘poverty’ argument and associated solutions once you’ve convinced people it’s not actually money and resources they need, but race-revenge, and if they can subjugate the natives, everything will be solved.

Meanwhile, corruption scandals keep popping up from every area of influence in Portuguese society, in which the far-left is very heavily involved. Funny how these riots never upset the rich and powerful. While the black underclass terrorizes the middle class (including other blacks), the establishment runs to the bank. A small dip in the economy, which is long overdue, promises to send all this social tension into overdrive. And elections are just around the corner, first for the European parliament and then for the legislature. Will we see a rise of the non-establishment, law and order right-wing akin to other countries? If a charismatic leader shows up, I have no doubt.

TL : DR – Race baiting by far-left turns to race riots in Portugal.
