Chinese-American woman crowned Miss Michigan, netizens think she's ugly

What do you guys think? I think she has nice figure but is quite plain in the face, she shouldn't be anywhere near a beauty contest. I think the fact that she was the only east-Asian contestant may have worked to her benefit. Facially she looks like a woman at my workplace - and I've never been attracted to her.

I guess people from China are shocked that such an average looking woman can win a beauty contest.

Now for North American perspective I really don't know what to say. What are they judging these broads on as we all know it is not pure hotness.

We need a China expert in here (paging Kai). What region would she be from with a "Quann" name? I ask this because I watch to much of that smug asshole Eddie Haung on Vice and he is always talks about how the different regions will pump out different body types on the Chinese girls. This would fit whatever he would describe as the region that pumps out thicker girls with big tits. I think he mentioned also the faces of this region are beat as well lol.

Huge, huge step down in quality.

The 2016 winner is skinny-fat, she doesn't have a "nice" figure like the 2015 winner. She also is not model pretty by any means and looks far beyond her years. 43 is definitely more like it.

Her skin looks old and tired for someone living in Michigan,

She is the first Asian girl that looks old for her age,

She isn't even model shape, kind of chubby and out of shape.

The new trend in "beauty pageants" is to pick winners who are not beautiful.

That way the organizers can virtue-signal to their corporate backers and to the public that they're inclusive and sensitive to others' feelings.
