I am not even going to entertain Rushmores posts because I just dont have any energy for the stupidity.

I did NOT leave Germany by the way and will drop my part 2 sheet when I decide to leave.

RE: 6 Years in Germany - From the perspective of a black guy
LOL, Kirdiesel and I have talked about at length on and off the forum about Germany and the pros and cons. We have lived here approximately the same amount of time and I would say that he has tried way harder to integrate into German society than I have. So Rushmore is way off. 99% of what kirdiesel is saying is true. I have had a very similar experience as an American living here.

And just to be clear, right or wrong thats how Germany is. Either accept how stupid and annoying it can be sometimes to live there and enjoy the good parts or move on. I have decided to move on but believe me, there are alot of stupid things about every country (including the USA).

Let's end this with some positives about Germany:
Extremely safe
Great public transport
Well educated, honest, direct women. Not as superficial as other places I have been (though this is changing). The kind of woman you could marry, though once she hits 40.. Will probably cut her hair short and look like a man. (Seriously German women...wtf)
Lots of Beta men (makes it easy for the player)
Great location in central europe
Relatively accepting of foreigners (well at least until the refugee crisis...LOL)

This right here, this, this is what pisses me off about German women and for some it's not even in their 40s but their 30s and for one girl I knew, her early 20s... That was a mind fuck and a half Confused

I do love Germany though, while I don't have the perspective of a black guy (as I'm white), it's hard to beat the culture, the people, the way of life and the directness, boy do I love the directness as both home and abroad, Christ above are they direct.

I'd say that Russian girls and the EE in general are great for fun but for marriage material, German/Austrian all the way Banana

I fully agree that Kirdiesel and you are both right.

In Germany, there isn't much of a Black American culture outside of the Kaiserslautern military base.

But why should it? Why would you want it?

These kind of guys in generally are betas or nerds" - I wouldn't call that "nuanced"):

You went to live in a foreign country on another continent. You didn't go there because of the vast cultural heritage, but because of puss. That special kind of puss you prefer.

Surprisingly, not everyone speaks English on your level, alarmingly the uneducated are struggling with it. Luckily, international, no: U.S. American food chains such as Burger King or KFC keep you from starving, as the local food is "bothering you".

On it goes: television, even cinemas are in the local language! They also don't live the 24/7 lifestyle of NYC, but dare to close their shops on one day per week. Government employees speak the local language, and maybe yours, but surely not fluently. Yes, there are apperantly some girls who wear some U.S. sports related items, but, as you say, they have no FUCKING idea (fuck!!) who the Nicks are.

Now, looking at the other people who came here from other countries or even continents, they are nerds (as they are expert in some STEM this or other). They are educated!! So are the Germans, with their "free" unis and whatnot.

Now, to add insult to injury, you noticed that it is almost impossible to meet fellow followers of that very specific ethnic subculture that you apparently are a part of.

Eventually you realised that you are running out of steam, and announce to decamp to England.

Goodbye! Safe travels!

----------------------------------------------------------------

But if you want, I can re-write his post, just the other way round. German coming to NYC, complaining that TV is in English, no proper German food, and the Bavarian Lederhosen community is almost non-existent. Oh, and some side remarks about "LeBron" and "Shai'qua" not wanting to change their Afro-American ways.

What I hate about American culture is how some American guys (they consider themselves jocks/chads) look down upon people who studied computer science/engineering/STEM as 'nerds' or 'betas'. It shows American guys insecurity. That STEM nerd/beta will get a traditional wife and have a higher salary than you at the end.

These class of American guys are almost as bad as American women, if not worse.

Look at Roosh, he studied Biology and was a microbiologist and I consider him the most successful PUA.

Shhhh! Microbiologists develop the best dope beef patty recipes (Kaiserslautern Military Base special). Its just difficult to FIND microbiologists in the black American culture in Rheinland-Pfalz. The few who exist camouflage themselves in NFL paraphernalia.

Stay tuned for our next episode, when MC DJ Kir-deez'l and his homies decide to open up an restaurant in Alsace ("The food here in the beginning is fine but over the long term starts to bother you. Its a matter of opinion but I think the food in the US is leaps and bounds better than here. If any of you guys have restaurant experience and want to come to Germany and open a REAL American restaurant I think you could make a SERIOUS KILLING."), somewhat missing the mark by thinking Strassburg is in Germany ("But they eat Kraut with EVERYTHING!).

Eventually they make peace with the Alsatians by offering Poulet Frit Avec Melon d'Eau au Choucroute. Job jobbed!

I never cared about the background of any of those STEM guys I met here. Dont care if they are a scientist, chemist or whatever. They make good money, studied a tough major and are overall good or great guys. However, more often than it seems like those guys don't want to put the effort in perfecting their social skills the same way they perfected their chemistry. Gaming in Germany is hard enough as it is for all races of men, I don't need a guy around who is not going to be able to keep up.

Rushmore you are just a complete asshat bro.

Still ignoring your BS trolling.

Other than clubs, what else is there to do?

Can I go down the street and get some Jamaican food?

Could be me, but the culture seems bland.

The culture IS bland. Actually, I could not name any cultural highlight beside the German club scene, and the Autobahns of course.

Luckily, the Jamaican food scene is booming, and they are currently in the process of renaming the Max Planck Society to "Bob Marley Society".

Depends. If the guy is a generic African? Yes. The trick is that they try too hard to look like they're American or European and come off as a caricature of those groups. An african gent usually is not so caught up in trying to appear otherwise.

Of course, I know that but I'm not sure if a random white or asian would have my level of insight.

Solid post man!

As an American Asian dude, while I have never been to Germany, majority of the girls I hook up while traveling are from Germany and the Netherlands.

Thanks.

German girls do travel and behave differently outside of country so I am not surprised to hear that.

Most of the foreign girls I hooked up whilst in NYC were German.

Let's turn this thread around.

A German guy asks you about moving to the US. Would you recommend him to move or to stay in Germany? Why?
