I would have just a (just for information) question to all. No desire to troll or whatever

Can we now officially consider the RVF as a political forum, with some game and travel stuff, or a game/travel forum with a political section?

If it's the former then I am impressed at how fast it changed its course, from 2012/2013. I guess I am and was too used to think of the guys here as players/seducers ^^

Why not both? Forums naturally evolve and when they become big enough, some areas even tend to become like completely separate areas and develop an own life and culture. It's kinda like bodybuilding.com and the misc section which has a life of its own. That's not a bad thing, just means areas of interest are expanding.

And to be honest, people get older and after 10+ years in the game trenches, many regulars have basically said and done everything there is to say about game, they want to also about other areas of life (and maybe see how game applies there).

Roissy/Heartiste had the same developement. I remember those first bold posts clearly where the kvetching reached the high heavens about "Oyy veeyyy Roissy why are you talking about these unsavory topics... I just want to fuck some dumb blonde bitches.... ". It was a glorious sight and a welcome purge

It's a fair sentiment. That's what I originally thought too, I just got caught up in the politics too.

I guess the reason is to do with time horizons. If you're not thinking about the future, just how many notches you can get this month, you don't think about politics.

I have a friend who is like this, a full hedonist who says he never wants to settle down and spends all day chasing tail -- politics barely blips his radar, he'll just post some brief left-leaning grumble whenever a big event happens (like Trump), and he's straight back into his hedonism. Why would he let politics effect him? As long as he's having fun he doesn't care.

It's only when you see your future darkening that you get into politics. After Trump won though I did start paying more attention to old interests, loading up tech news sites etc instead of just coming here. So my political side is starting to fade a little bit. I expect when Trump is safely in the Whitehouse I'll be back on my way towards other concerns than politics. I certainly hope so, anyway. I frankly see my political writing as a form of therapeutic venting (of my worries & concerns for the future etc) which ultimately isn't productive for my life.

I'd say give it a few more months, it's still only November. It took a while for this forum to ramp up into politics, it will take a while for it to ramp down again.

I enjoy political conversations, but I like to have them with people that I know.

If it's with people that I know personally, I know how to properly weigh their views. With an online forum, it's hard to get the full picture of where they are coming from and why they've formed the worldview that they hold.

I do agree with you man^^
Paradoxically, the moment I have stopped being involved that much in the political stuff (basically since the Donald started campaigning) and focused on my life outside the forum, the more I have gotten laid. I take it as a sign to stop worrying that much about politics and , like Aer said, "enjoy the decline" and bang sluts met online Big Grin

By the way I invite you guys to come back to the game forum, there are still some gems to find, especially from WIA (in the black guy game thread) Wink

Everyone who has distanced themselves from him was completely in the right.

There is a couple of issues with this. If true....

1. Anytime i see people get SJW on something (who would normally not get SJW) I feel it has more to do with power than anything else related to race.
2. The media hates the alt-right.
3. The media and by extension most of the left considers anyone who didn't vote for Hillary as "alt-right" so now it seems the "alt-right" now as lots of new members.

This should be done behind the scenes, not in public. Having proper leadership will help (unless the alt-right are anarchists). If this argument happens in public the media writes the narrative and instead of "the alt-right rids itself of human debris" it will be "the alt-right is racist because it had human debris as members".

The election had everyone involved with the recognition that our future was at stake. I think it was a surprise to most of us (including those who "knew" Trump would win) because the local media told us Hillary would win "here are the polls that say so".

This forum takes some credit for helping elect Trump. To me at the moment its the former however the latter will take more prominence here when the election is a distant memory.

While I agree the pettiness needs to go, what are you going to do once the decline actually hits and you're no longer able to get your easy bangs in the Ukraine and Poland?

That day where the decline starts to become painful is coming a lot faster than you might imagine my friend. You can't bury your head in the sand forever.

RE: Schism in the alt right
I've never heard of Richard Spencer until this, but I watched the speech and thought it was a good speech and I agree with what he and a lot of the white nationalists have been saying. There is nothing wrong with wanting our own ethno-state. Asians, jews, blacks and latinos basically have theirs, why can't we? Why should I care if people want to do Nazi salutes too? I couldn't care less.

It's funny even after well over a year of the media reading 'between the lines' of Donald Trump's speeches to show that he is an evil genocidal racist, you guys are doing the same thing to this guy.

Either way everyone here is making a big deal out of nothing (Oh no nazi salutes! let's disavow!), and simply falling into the trap the leftie media has laid out for us. Divide and Conquer.

Even after being labeled 'conservatives' for years and they get the euphemistic and wildly inaccurate label 'liberals'. We're again falling into the trap of allowing the leftie media to label us as the bad guys and them as the good guys. The 'alt-right' name is a stupid thing to fight over. This guy is one of the few guys who openly says he is alt-right, while all the more important people like Roosh, Cernovich, Milo, infowars and others say they're not part of it.
Why would we want to be known as the alternative when really we are the mainstream? Why would we want to be known as 'right wing' when a lot of our followers were apoliticial or libertarian before joining this movement?

Once the Left made it clear that their objective was to essentially criminalize masculinity, we had little choice. Game has now become inherently political.

Has the world changed from four years ago? If yes, then why would you expect the forum and the men on it to also not change?

You may prefer to freeze time at a specific point and prevent change from occurring after a year you liked most, or to prevent your body from aging during your favorite year, but life and nature never freezes. There is continuous change in the world, neverending ups and down, and you must accept that reality if you don't want to live in the past and neglect the present.

Its the nature of taking the red pill. We take path to understand why girls weren't attached to us when we played by rules taught by our parents. We start finding the decline in masculinity and society in general. We start seeing the politics that is the poison well that slowly killing off West Civilization. We can all just give up and enjoy the decline, but that view goes against out masculine nature as be craving to fight back against the decline.

While Europe is in variety of being fucked over, there still a historical, cultural, and genetic background to call themselves Italians, Germans, French, and Englishmen for example. One of the dangers of white in US is there is no shared historical, cultural, and genetic background to be define as American. Add in the destruction and abuse of American identity by the left will cause problem in the long run do to the use of identity politics.

That great irony in disowning white nationals, they are right on two things:
creation of white ethno-state due to identity politics and trend of majority of leftist enables and thinkers being Jewish.

Frankly as 1st generation Indian in the US, I hope to keep a high trust society going. I have integrated American values and cultural as part of my identity. If the Left wants to continue play of the game of kill whitey, I will become a white supremacist to degree that Spencer and the alt White question their sanity.

It's more of nostalgia than anything. It's always good to look back on what we've accomplished in those four years to realize how serious this has become. Understandably things have changed, and now that we have influence on the mainstream and the pendulum is swinging, we must change our scope accordingly.

It's not dwelling, it's looking back and seeing how far we've all come.

As they say, shit got real.

Of course this wouldn't include anyone here, but people who have paranoid thinking styles will have trouble building lasting alliances.

They will either persecute "out" groups too much and be attacked, or end up fighting each other.

Exactly.

As you said, many men, after they learn some Game, want to apply it in some other areas of life. Why? Because the rules of Game are applied in politics and economics too. And that is why many Game (and lifestyle) forums have a Politics section.

Such as this one.

Examples of Game in economics and politics:

1. When you try to sell something, you need to "game" your customer. It is same when you approach a girl. The only difference is that the reward is bigger - you will get money, instead of poon.

2. When you apply for a job, you need to "game" your potential employer (or a HR bitch).

3. If you run a country, and when you deal with another country, there are things such as "approaching" (opening an embassy or trade mission), "buying a drink" (investing in that country), "fucking" (sending advisors, or military), "shit testing" (protests and/or terrorists attacks against your interests), "cockblocking" (international condemnations) "LTR and marriage" (takeover) and "divorce" (independence from your country).

Again, that is why many lifestyle and PUA forums will become political and money oriented.

Bodybuilding.com went through that phase.

Heartiste went through that phase.

This forum (as well as some bearded Middle Eastern guy Big Grin) went through that phase.

It is completely normal, and (un)fortunately, unavoidable, whether we like it or not.

Nobody said that mate. I'm personally not a fan of these LARPing Neo-Nazis myself and I certainly don't want to be associated with them.

This is why we don't even need to disavow him as he doesn't even represent what many on the forum believe politically. The politics of this forum aren't necessarily alt-right but that doesn't mean there aren't any alt-righters on here.

If anything this thread identifies who aligns where/to what extreme and what people on this forum want to fight for politically. And for me I'm only involved politically because the state/culture wants to be involved with me politically.

RE: Schism in the alt right
Paul Joseph Watson is getting a ton a lot of hate in the comments about denouncing the alt right:

Not sure if it's from the 1488 crowd or not.

RE: Schism in the alt right
Less than a month after the election passed and the various alt-righters are already at each other's throats in a very vicious way.

Does the 1488 crowd really think that they will follow up on their promise of 'all white europeans'? Or will the fragile truce between races shatter as soon as soon as they come to power, much like it has in the alt-right?

I had never heard about Spencer until a friend mentioned him to me as the leader of the "alt-right".

If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.

RE: Schism in the alt right
Judging by a quick scan, most of the comments are by 1488ers denouncing PJW, but there are more than a few PJW supporters.

This entire debacle has devolved to exactly what I expected - everyone calling each other 'cucks' and 'controlled opposition.' Everyone (except Roosh, and incidentally Vox Day) comes out of this looking like complete fucking idiots.

Bullshit like this is why the Left has won so often (at least up until now, thank God.)

It'll get worse, most likely after Trump's inauguration.

Ironically, the only constant in life is change.

Mountains rise & fall.
Empires rise & fall.
Generations come & go.

The Alt-Right is a coalition. Coalitions are hard to keep together--ask the Democrats.
